- As we were unable to attend the Eurovision pre-party in Madrid earlier this year we made a tribute to the Spanish ESC winner of 1968, ‘La La La’ by Massiel, as a compensation for our absence. Now this Gåte version of the beautiful song is available for you to enjoy as well.

Gåte was one of my favorite bands until I forgot about them quite frustrated, when they went into an hiatus 2004...so 20 years ago.

Also, if you're reading this, PLEASE GUNNHILD SING MORE FOLK! I study nordic folkmusic full time and your singing moves mountains! We gotta get a traditional album at some point! I keep telling my colleagues "this is the best folk singer in the north".
I'd say that especially Gåte's acoustic album "Nord" actually sounds quite traditional. (The two latter are already defunct, though.)
