Teemu Keisteri (Windows95man) is 39 years old, Joost Klein is 27 and Bambie Thug is 31. Not really kids, but I agree, they are all prodigiously creative.
I think I've gotten more open minded with age weirdly. Most of my friends listen to the same stuff they did 20 years ago(which is fine), but I'm more drawn to things that are new.
@@sprawlie No not a bad day, just can't understand why anybody over the age of say 10 would think it was valid in relation to any kind of entertainment, particularly music.
@@Nedchilvs Maybe try to focus on what you yourself like instead of what other ppl like. As you can see in the comments many ppl love eurovision. Actually 163 million of us - that includes all ages.
Now please someone make exact same video of someone tuning in in 1957 (fair would be 1936, but it's 20 years before Eurovision even existed) and then tuning in in 1980. I bet they would feel as disconnected as you are right now. If you can't relate it's only because your generation was perceptive and opened to music 40 years ago, after that you closed yourself pretty much off (what's your favourite band from 2010s?) and are now surprised you find it hard to connect. That's also a reason why industry isn't reflective of older generations, because they do not invest in it, they don't visit concerts, don't buy records, don't stream etc. Industry can't survive if they cater to a group that isn't actively investing in them. Change the generational pattern and you'll see yourself reflected back on screens. Otherwise don't mock youth.
When i watched my first ESC (end of the 90s maybe?) there were already weird songs and i liked them by the most. Now its more extrem but im okay with it. Btw. Irelands song is better in the video version, there its more clear what she was going for.
We don’t know yet, but this is turning into a political case. And ebu will go now to extreme measures to prove that he used violence. Can you imagine what will happen if they were wrong?
P.S. Confusion, bewilderment, and disbelief are a constant state of mind for me when I watch Eurovision. I'm also questioning if my sanity is still intact.
Fun fact: my 89-year-old grandmother loved the Netherlands' song.

My 70 year old Belgian grandma didn’t watch the grand final. Because of Joost 😭🙏🏽

And Austria was reminiscent of 90s euro dance

complete opposite, modern music sounds so souless and done without effort.
I mean there are still really beautiful songs like France, Portugal and Serbia too - but for these 3, at 32, I feel like I'm 82.
his slowly changing expressions are so funny that i almost choked on the food i am eating

Haha! The ending was so funny! Really, thank you for making me laugh!
Thank you
Ireland got the Jojo SIWA vibe tbh
Jojo was just trying to be edgy, at least Bambie’s song means something
don't compare someone who can't not even make their own style with a real artist
Bambi Thug rules but I feel you on the first 2.....

Kind of hard to do when its broadcast over multiple timezones. If they made it start at 9 pm in ireland it would be 2 or 3 am in Israel when it ended
