The device is actually smooth. Wireless Android Auto/CarPlay lags when phone is a little out of range, which is what happened here. 😅
Using wired android auto/ apple carplay, it won't stutter.. because the device is connected wirelessly its stuttering, try wireless cast to TV it will stutter too.. similarly if you connect with hdmi cable it won't lag

Even in some new 2024 cars Apple CarPlay tends to stutter. If even huge car manufacturers cannot provide a smooth 60fps experience, how could some random manufacturer in China do it?

Actually i would prefer sony stereo instead of this in any day of the week. Head unit isn't something just for display, i dont know bout the audio quality as they haven't said anything about it but I presume it'll be inferior as its marginally cheaper. So i would wait some more time to save more money to buy Sony or any thing better.
