For the money the MPP is so worth it. I got one a month ago and it’s so cool. This is coming from a Fractal user.

Sorry I missed your comment and vacation time is over.(well at least for the northern hemisphere)
It lasts longer than I have been able to play at one sitting. So at least 4 to 5 hours. I got it for the very same reason and other times. I connect it to a powered speaker via the headphone out and it sounds great especially with custom IR’s. To the detractors the MPP could easily get through a jam, rehearsal or even a small gig. I’m not sure if having it connected through BT and playing backing tracks shortens the time. I imagine it would to some amount, but I doubt much.

I have been super confused by all the different options out there for pocket amps and, between this and the Fender vs. Mighty Amp video, I feel like you've helped cleared a lot of things up.

Perfect review. True and honest. Thank you very much. and I do subscribe for more!
I spent a day selecting between Fender Mustang and Nux Mighty Plug Pro and finally went for Nux.
Last drop was mobile app. I calculated that in a total you may have about 17 million combinations of all sound parameters :)
Also I used it as audio interface to my iMac with no problems and no driver issues. All is working in my Abletone Live 11. I do write electronic music and now live guitar is good adding to that. Official web has all software needed and latest firmware. What a fantastic device just for 79 euro to have!

I like the way I can walk around my house headphones in phone blue toothing music or lessons to play along to to the device and its got lots of ways to alter my tone if I wish, the main thing for me is that it gets rid of most of the things that get in the way of me playing, like a common one for me is in the time it takes me to create a space, collect all my stuff and connect it together when I have time while im in the mood the longer this takes the greater the chance of someone getting in the way of that. now I pick up the guitar earbuds in and im off!

Is it possible to plug a Bluetooth transmitter into the headphone Jack of the Mighty Plug and then connect to a Bluetooth speaker?

    • @donwalter8644
      @donwalter8644 Рік тому +2

Technically yes, but currently Bluetooth is only practical for background music playback, like UA-cam, Spotify, or a drum machine. Although it would transmit the sound of your instrument, there is currently far too much latency for Bluetooth to be practical for real time playing. Possibly, in a few years, in a later version of Bluetooth, with newer hardware, there will finally be a low enough latency for playing musical instruments through those newer Bluetooth devices.

Good, helpful review! I'm listening on a pair of SoundID Reference calibrated headphones and I would recommend that you use a pop filter or a high pass on your voice.
Wasn't that interested in the stock settings but with the app, it sounded a lot better. I've rarely found the stock presets that useful anyway. One of the features that I found interesting is the possibility of having a mic to practice singing as I practice guitar/bass. More research required.

Good review. I have spent 1 and a half hours trying to get the app to change the sound of the output using the features and not the slightest change. The change only happens ii I change preset on the Nux device itself. The NUX EFX UA-cam channel doesn't help either

i just bought the fender micro and want to return it for this one (no presets, no gain settings, treble-ly/metallic on high gain where I need more creamy - women tone/santana like solos) - this seems way better but question: does the NUX allow audio in via Bluetooth, for listening to say, UA-cam to practice. You did not mention it. I was a bit worried that the Bluetooth is more for the app - but hoping it does computer/phone audio in so you can hear guitar and audio in together.

But I'm going to start exploring the app more in depth and experimenting with different sounds and what pedal options to use and where to place them after this. I still don't know how to use it with the pc so I don't know how to add impulse responses.

I would like to use it as a main setup, even for gigs, and live concerts. Would it be suitable for that? Can you send sound from it, to bigger speakers, other than headphones, like using it at rehearsals, or even to send its sound to PA systems ? or should I buy something like, the mighty space for that because it would be better since it has a "speaker out" output ?

If that makes sense? But 4 the $$$ I don't think U could go wrong unless U just don't have a PC?? Great Demo RJ, It would be so Kool 2 C them give so many out to Amateur or semi pro musician's and in a few months see what they can do with it??🤔🤔🤔 Great Work RJ & Hat's Off to Nux🤠😃🎸🎶❤️

Guitar Players on a budget have it made in 2023... IMO the only reason Korg has yet to build keyboard with Poly AT and release velocity so you can emulate a stringed instrument properly is because of how many guitars.. amps.. effects.. tuners.. headphones... strings... cables...stands, wall hangers... straps... hookers.. etc. you can buy for the same price. Korg policy is to never make a customer feel bad (seeing what guitar players pay to play) so it's a catch 22 keeping prices down so Korg customers feel good about being keyboard players... But seriously how can you emulate a guitar on a synth if you can't use your note fingers to bend a string? Just imagine what Leo Fender, Les Paul, Paul Bigsby, or Harley Benton would say about that....
