Hey Jordyn, that's so sweet of you thanks 💚. I don't think I have an updated prop tour or houseplant tour for that matter. I should film a new houseplant tour for you then, you inspired me 😊. Greetings from Germany.
Lol Kristina you literally made me LOL out loud when you said "I'm weak..." re: the white princess and not selling it. I'd be the same. It's a beautiful specimen with great variegation :D Keep it!
I think this is my favourite video of yours so far! I love propagating and watching propagation videos, so seeing so many at once is amazing! I chopped most of my plants a few months ago. Waiting for things to grow and planning on getting some new additions. I can't wait to be flooded with props again. 💖
Glad you enjoyed it Arthur ( I really hope this is your real name 😬)! I feel u. I don't want to have a lot of money, I just want to be rich in props! 😂😂😂 Although some money would help too 😅
@@LeafyLuster Yes, it's my name don't worry! And you're absolutely spot on 😂 Every time I prop I'm like "I'm going to sell all of these" and then get too attached to most of them 😅
My baby (ish) Philo pink princess and white knight are SO SLOWW to grow!!! I dunno why. They’ve got lots of light and fertilizer 🤷♀️ I just reported my variegated string of hearts a month ago, she did not appreciate it, so I started taking cuttings from the trailing vines and the whole plant fell to the floor, I had a pot of dirt in my hands and watched the whole thing disconnect and drop lol good thing I’m taking cuttings! Lolol
Oh mate, I'm with you re: P. brandtianum and P. melanochrysum. I've got two growing up moss poles at the moment and their leaves just aren't sizing up. So, I think I'm just going to chop and prop them in the future, make some lush baskets of them, and try again in the future when I can be bothered trying to provide more humidity and give them what they need. I'm finding P. gigas is pretty similar too... drama queens!
I need to take care of my props more! You do such a nice job propping :) they look great right now! I can't imagine how nice they look when it is time to sell......you have a great collection.....it feels like a behind the scenes of your plant shop! You are awsome and still enjoy every video you make for us.....oh that anthurium p.....with the long leaves I am going to look up gor some more info....I love the long leaves :) see you soon butterfly....I have a syngonium albo on the way! Finally bought one! Also an ice frost syngonium.....and forgettii!! And a couple more can't seem to remember for some reason got to look that up! Haha..ok I sm going yo work on propping seriously now and set something up! I will let you know and thanks for the inspiration.....looked it up ...a painted lady cutting and a philo gigas coming too :)
Oh my gosh I like all of those plants you have coming 😍 Painted lady is really beautiful & underrated in my opinion! I'm glad I could inspire you to prop more and please, you are way to sweet. I can't deal with all the kind words about my videos🥰. I love giving you guys some "behid the scenes" or just my normal plantcare & propagation routine and just taking you along my weekly plant to-do's.
Dang! I'm late to this video ( just put notifications on for this channel😬) so you may not see this, but can you explain more about taking "cuttings" from the calathea Warscewiczii?! It's one of my favorite plants in my collection but ANY time I repot her she goes downhill and the last time I gave her a larger pot she just never fully recovered😩 I want to restart her but I'm scared to divide it, so if I could take cuttings I'd MUCH rather do it that way! Do you just male the cut below where a new leaf has emerged from another leaf?? 🤔🌿❤
Of course I am seeing this! 💚 Let's be honest with this amount of comments I can luckily still overview everything that goes on here 😊. I can try to incorporate it in a future video. I have only ever divided my other Calatheas. But with the Warszewiczii they sometimes grow a longer stem which grows a "node" & a smaller leaf farther up. I then just cut below the node and stick it in water to root. I wish I could add pictures in here. I can see if my mother plant has any and post a picture in my Community tab later. 😉 I hope this helps for now :)
@@LeafyLuster Lol, even on some of the smaller channels some creators tend to not check messages after a video has been live for a certain amount of time, so I definitely appreciate it! This is definitely helpful! Looking closer at my plant, which is pretty full, I can see that pne or two of the stalks have "nodes" down at the bottom! So I think I'll give it a shot! But I'd be thrilled to actually see more about this in a future video if it works in with what you're doing!💚
Well if you have nodes then definetly try it out. I just checked back and in this video: ua-cam.com/video/m2IeRLUtg6c/v-deo.html at min 23:04 you can see how my cutting looked and how the node + roots looked before potting. Mine currently doesn't have any nodes so I could show you. The way my Calathea looks at the moment I'll have to do a video on fixing it up in the future for sure 😂😂😂. I think it needs a repot and some of the leaves look quite rough tbh ^^. Regarding the comments, in the UA-cam studio there is actually a really nice overview of all new comments, I didn't answer yet. It is pretty easy to miss replies tough, took me a while to figure that out. 😅
Hey Ingrid, this video was just for you 😉. Thanks again for the great idea. It was fun gathering up all of my llittle babies & I'm glad you enjoyed the video. See you soon :)
Thank you, thats a great idea Alexandra! Could be really helpful to some plantparents in need. I only ever had Spidermites once before but there are some really effective ways to get rid of them. I'll see if i can research a little bit more on them first. See u in the next one 💚

Do you by chance ever ship any cuttings to Belgium? :) (Paid, of course) Just curious, I sometimes see some cute plants in your collection I can't seem to find in plant stores.
I usually do not ship at all but maybe we can work something out 😉 Shipping from Germany to Belgium shouldn't be an issue in general. You can check out my Ebay plant shop here: linktr.ee/leafyluster
What method did you have the most success with when propping adansonii? I'm planning to take cuttings from 2 plants and placing the cuttings in soil around a moss pole, maybe 8-10 or so. Am I better off rooting then in water first or do you think sticking them directly in the soil will work fine?
Hi Silvy, my favourite method is definetly water. I just like seeing the roots before i pot the cuttings into soil. After 3 weeks you should have enough roots to pot the cuttings into soil. Proping directly in soil can work if you have a really humid environment like a prop box. I tried that with my Ph. Brandtianum for example. Water, then soil seems more safe to me though (and a little more satisfying). 😁
