The new trio of ST movies were really very well put together for me. I mean, not one disappointed. And maybe I just really wasn't paying attention, but the soundtrack/compositions for Into Darkness gave me an entirely new appreciation for the entire film franchise. Michael Giacchino simply crushed the soundtrack for these films. ESCPECIALLY the scene where the Enterprise emerges from under the ocean...OMG!
_Space_ _the_ _final_ _frontier_ . These are the voyages of the starship Enterprise. It's continuing mission,To explore strange new worlds,to seek out new life and new civilizations. *To* *boldly* *go* *where* *no* *man* *has* *gone* *before* .
That sceneat 3:08 when I saw that scene in Star Trek Beyond and watch it to this day brings tears to my eyes. I so miss Leonard Nimoy, Anton Yelchin, DeForest Kelley and James Doohan
@@captaingenius-o1c honestly, I never even noticed how many lens flares the movies had. I just always enjoyed them for what they are: emotional, well made blockbusters.
Captain Genius Most peoples attention span can take a few lens flares here and there and not let it detract from the movie. It’s only you fragiles that have an issue with it because you have the attention span of a goldfish.
From my Marvel Suite upload that had the most up to date description. Just going to copy and paste to the other videos now as I have the kind of most accurate 'Official Setlist' according to my memory and recorded timings. Believe it actually goes: 18. Speed Racer - 19. Coco - 20. Alias Recently uploaded my final video regarding the whole Michael Giacchino event. Check it out, anybody who attended and watches it will love it :)
Hey, thanks for uploading! Thas was such a great evening. Did you maybe record the piece from Jupiter Ascending? I can't find anything called "Arranged Marriage", as it says in the brochure. Just remember really enjoying one part and the light effects.
That build up for 5:16 is sooooo amazing!
This new theme is amazing, hands down, one of the best themes of the past 20 years.
One thing I love about the Kelvin era movies the music has heart and soul like the Prime Timeline films
1:03 Night on the Yorktown!! ❤️❤️ God, I love the Star Trek soundtracks. So glad there was continuity with Giacchino doing all of them.
Yeah that piece was pretty good.
The Kelvin movies have amazing and very underrated soundtracks

I love how well he conducts so concisely and also very direct.
Beautiful
Apart from some of John William's themes the main theme/fanfare has to be one of the most stirring/emotional pieces of music to be put to a movie

And Nichelle Nichols. 😔
I wish im hearing this orchestra at that hall
Underated 💎
I wish the sound quality was better! Brilliant score! Likely the best film score since Jurassic.
Amazes me how much Chris Pine looks just like his father
beautiful
Muito lindo👍
and that's why Giacchino and J.J. Abrams belong to the Star Trek franchise
jj abrams is a hack...lens flares doth not make a film----Abe Lincoln.....

Giacchino on Star Wars Rogue One musical score was amazing, especially “your father would be proud” when the Death Star blows up Scariff.
He really is a mini John Williams, but he also channels a bit of Jerry Goldsmith and Ennio Morricone.
I think in the new Star Trek Movies
except 1 + Into Darkness is Art in Visual and Sound
this pushes the Movies up
I like that
Hi, it was a great concert. You need to add Speed Racer to the setlist ahead of Coco. Great videos!

2:32 track name ?
What is the song starting at 3:20?
Ode to Harrison
No Alexander Courage theme?
this concert is to celebrate Michale Giacchino...not a Star Trek concert
@@xxDxxism But Giacchino included the original theme in his score.
