sprocket "COMPOSITE ARMOR" creation

decided to do an experiment to create a sort of composite armour for M1A1 and other cold-war era tanks like T-80; armour levels can reach up to 940mm against AP and about 1000mm against APHE. I will try to make E.R.A soon.

You can make ERA by attaching outside fuel tanks to a spot on the tank. One time use only, 0% penning chance if hit.

@@tejdz1337 It still works for me, but i might be in a different older version. I'm missing the churchill track gaurds, the t34 mantlet, bunch of stuff and idk how to fix it, but i tested it yesterday and it did work on my T-54

@@user-wu6qb2xl1c you can also reduce track width and thickness first, put on spare tracks and make them big and thick, you will get them overlap and be impenetrateable

I think they 3D modeled those NERA arrays and then imported them into Sprocket as compartments. On Sprocket's Discord, there's a link to a program to do that in a file modding channel.

APHE explodes which takes out the entire vehicle but AP only damages where it penetrated

AP can be stopped by simply attaching a non functional turret with no armor ontop of the part you wanna protect,APHE can only be defeated by having real armor,but it has significantly reduced penetration ability.

It’s multiple rows of armor slanted at shallow angles. A cutaway would look like a comb. Irl it’s filled with some sort of medium like concrete or ceramic, in game it’s just fancy spaced armor.
