Now create internal composite modules by overlapping multiple layers of angled plates
Thats too much greebling
might be too heavy.
@@spehhhsssmarineer8961 worked out for me. I got 600mm+ of protection
@@spehhhsssmarineer8961 I did it. Didn't take too much weight I'd you kept the plate thickness between 20-25mm
After the latest update u can now do this more easily with additional parts
The best bit was when he yelled about how hot it was and then greebled all over the place
Oh god
past tense of "greeble" is "grabled"
@@leoaraujo8590 I've made the executive decision to override this reality
@@leoaraujo8590 it is? interesting, thanks for letting me know, I sure do love the word greeble.
@@meta_cross1099 the word doesn't officially exist but I just followed the germanic tense structure. Yeet would also be "Yated".
The greebling section reminds me of my time in Spore, specifically creating vehicles for my space-faring civilizations. All their tanks looked suspiciously human-y.
I loved when you grebbled the grebbles and then said
It's grebbelling time
9/10 Tank
detailed: 7.5/10
realistic: 9/10
look beautiful: 9/10
commentary: 9.5/10
Greebles: 10/10
XD agree
Broo I feel like I want to add some ERA on the sides... lol..
I always find it funny when UA-camrs complain about the noise from their AC/Fans but I can never hear it
I honestly think that the closest looking MBT is the Leo-leclerc prototype if the Leclerc didn’t have the storage boxes on the front of the turret lol (a bit cursed but looks nice lol)
more like a Leopard 2A4
@@KoenigPixel the 2a4 turret’s isn’t rounded at all, even if I agree for the optics that it looks more like a 2a4, but on the general shape of the turret I think looks more like a Leclerc
PT16
@exonys3838 I think it is a prototype leclare but they use a different hull type from the K2 cuz the leclare can't lower it tracks if it was base off the prototype
@@O5c-1 the K2 has nothing to do with the Leclerc (not Leclare btw)
The doctor said I caught greebles, he told me I should stop fiddling with my tanks all the time.
Imagine that Will made a tank in flyout.
And a plane in sprocket
greebals
greedles
I modded the game to go past the size cap for cannons :3 then I made a flying ww2 style plane with a howitzer that violently shakes everytime the gun is fired.
When it gets so hot you start greebeling
I love the word greables. I first learned of it during a video explaining the design of the starwars Y-wing or video with a Y-wing in it. The person described some of the details on the Y-wing as greables.
@Patchbits Fun fact! That box above the mantlet on the Chally 2 is a laser and laser detector! You see that bit that sticks up on the front of the barrel? That is a laser reflector. The idea is that barrel warp (with temperature, from climate or extended firing, the barrel can warp SLIGHTLY, which at modern tank combat ranges is a big deal) can be measured by how much that laser beam is deflected upon its return.
This is also why MBTs have what seems like thick canvas covers on their barrels. They are insulation to keep the barrel more thermally consistent!
Same for navel guns!
I think you could've tried making the greebling look more like ERA bricks/panels, because that's what those look like to me
Personally the front of the turret gives off obj. 292 vibes, the hull Leo 2 vibes & the rear of the turret gives sorta Abrams vibes with all that stowage. I can see where the M-60 allegations come from though with those hatches
Well to be fair you couldve just had extended stowage boxes like on the Leclerc, greebles work too though
Idea: create a mass production light tank that only needs 2 or 3 crewmen to operate
The things on gun mantlet are not optics for tank, these can be stuff that check if barrel is correctly straight
Optics are stored in the box that youve built on topleft side of turret
Your tanks turn out to be small because you make looks first and squeeze internals second. You should try making internals first and building the tank around them. Or do both at the same time.
idk if i am getting Germanified but the front of the hull looks like Leopard 2s with diferent lights
I watch your every new video. My PC can't run sprocket beyond 10 FPS but i love doing pretty much exactly what you do
Jesus... Clicked this video after its been live for 6 seconds. Thats a rare occurance for me, especially when I'm working. 😆
I use war thunder as a refence when building tanks because it shows internals and grebbles
It looks more like the Chinese VT-4 mixed with a Leopard 2 tank
2:07 Or alternatively tank design has been perfected to a point where all vehicles look the same.
holy shit I've been waiting for this for so long!!!
3:18 Normally, I recreate the gun I plan on sticking on the tank I'm making and use it as a reference for the reference for the scaling of the rest of my tank. For example, if I wanted to make a similar vehicle to the M36 I would replicate the 90mm M3 and build the rest of my vehicle around it.
greedles
This video has showed me like 20 new tools and tricks i didn't even know of and i'm very grateful; the tank itself also looks very cool!
sometimes my mustard goes on greebles but thats only when greebles want it too.
Grebels like gas too
We really need a gun builder game to go along with sprocket and fly out just to complete the “This is what my fictional army uses“ trilogy
Him: “Its so hot in here”
Also him: “It’s 34 degrees now”
😂
really reminds me of the merkava and the SAF tank based off of the leopard 2 ( can't remember the name)
The centurion with a turret inspired from a Leo 2? The Olifant (Elephant)
@@cruzbruni4065 yes, Wasn't sure if it was Oilifant or some other variation of elefant
This interesting fluffy bean reminds me of Ashens especially when he says wow
2:35 you CAN do that. It's either a setting or smth else i can't remember. It's somewhere in there i remember it
I feel you with the heat,
It really made me greeble these past few days
I love how its so hot that your brain greeble'd and forgot what a blowout panel was called
I want to see working machineguns, autocannons and autoloaders in future
when your camera clips into the floor try raising it above the ground a little bit, that seems to fix it
I would put a fuel tank where the hull ammo is.
Absolutely loved the greebles! Honestly, that part made the video! Awesome tank!
I literally tell my friends, when I'm talking about a design I've put together on Sprocket, about 'throwing on greebles' to describe the bits and bobs I throw onto the design to try and flesh it out.
DETAILED10/10.REALISTIC10/10
i love the greebles acting as ammo stowage
i love modern mbt's because it leaves so much room for interpretation
it looks like a (as you said) K2 black panther but with a olifant turret.
yes, it is quite warm in the UK rn. I am in scotland and i havent worn a Tshirt in ages and started taking cold showers. At least the Aurora came out this week twice due tot he warmth. Got some cool pics.
Greeble is actually a fitting name for at least some of the parts
I know it makes no sense but make it a casemate or a armored recovery version with like a low velocity 180mm could be cool too
Could you make a tank that fits the most amount of crew with the smallest size for that amount of crew that still has high firepower, sort of like a bmp
greebles are truly the greatest invention of all time
Well, i can already tell you what's inside the box on the mantlet of most challenger 2s. It's just a thermal imaging device. when in use, the flap on the box opens to reveal the lens of the TVD.
You were right, you absolutely cooked
(greeble)
Looks pretty decent. Give it some proper paint and smooth things out here and there and it should look great.
I'm going to have to use greebles in school, it's gonna be awesome
i love all the greebles, greebl gud we need more greebles
Looks like a extremely modernized m60 the top of the hull gives it away
Edit: finally got to the part where you said what you referenced and I’m not too far off
Gives me serious Olifant vibes.
it is I, the one who told you about autoplacement of turret holes, It only happens in not-free-form (sucks)
needs more Greeb-a-ling. Add smoke nades?
Also your camera is focused around, say a block. when you move your camera, it "orbits" around the block in whichever direction you moved it. Your block however, is near the floor and (if you want) can be moved high with (SHIFT+MMB+DRAG). Don't forget to zoom in tho (God i hope i dont tell you incorrect information that is right, but just not said clearly.)
Also how edit turret torque beyond its limits
Ever thought of the wrapping around gum as greebles? Anyway hi patchbits i’m the gum wrapper joke guy.
Greebles.. Are uh.. Very sorta useful because.. Because uhhh.. Yes. Greebles.
I'm watching an ad rn.
the grebbels definitly is the best of the grebbels ive seen so far!
this is amazing, if you've seen frantic playing this game its very unstisfactory compared to you. i love this MBT
Cant believe ive finally found someone who knows about Greebles!
The greeble of the turret was the greebliest part of this whole greeble.
I enjoy using greebles as well, very greebly.
i love the part where he said he wants to kiss hamish and then greebles for a minute straight
You should leave your Greebled fan on so you don't get heat stroke.
Personally I can't hear it and if I did I wouldn't care.
But yeah Greebling is fun. :D
The tank is very cool with all those greebles
You should make something like the C1 Ariete. Aka the "best" MBT in the world
So did you hear about those Greebles lately?
The front part of the hull next to the driver tends to be used for fuel in the most modern designs, since… having a bunch of the boomie stuff right next to the driver would be a pretty bad time for him
Ksp 1 music in the background i love it!
I don't know if this was a result of me requesting it on the last Sprocket video, but this basically exactly what I wanted to see, so that's neat... The finished build kinda give me vibes of the Rhino Tank in GTA V, not that it looks much like it, but just that Generic western-style MBT vibe.
The size seems fine, unless the build platform is bigger in 0.2.x you're about 6.5 meters long (Just the Chassis I'd Guess maybe 8-9 with gun overhang) and 3.5 Meters wide, around the same size as K2
Also, on the Subject of a modernized M60, are you familiar with the M60-2000 (Aka. MBT 120s), it's a cool proposal from the turn of the century to fit essentially an M1A1 turret to an M60A1 Chassis.
Day one , on asking to build a modernized E-100 with Maus turret !
ridikulus
It's a Zulfiqar that has somehow become weirder.
cool tank, but that pfp is soooo cute
Good ol' greebles.
One roadwheel challenge
it looks like a Leopard C2, shit rocks fr
*Knok knok
-Who is there?
-Greebles
I know why this feels wrong : Sprocket is about WWI to WWII

IMO modern mbt's are going to become more of an IFV/MBT hybrid. something with good mobility, mid sized gun for HE slinging and an ATGM. full aspect protection against 30mm w/ APS and a passenger compartment for a mech infantry element (4 guys with javs or the like) weighing around 60 tons. Possible? who knows
Sometimes, you just gotta let the greeble out, patch.
Looks like the north Korean modern mbt.
Grebles to me kinda sounds like "Gremlins".
There, I fitted "grebles" into a comment.
i love greeebling
The greebles wont know what us 20% are on about
I like when my fan is greebling on me too
why you put ammo in the hull, especially in the front, you have plenty ammo insde turret bustle, so dangerous
greebleing to my hearts content
aka none
Could explain what you’re doing at 1:57 with the points, I’m still a bit new at sprocket and would love to know seeing what you’re able to do after with those two squares parts.
Hitting m after selecting two points merges them!
Whatever you build, it's always M1A2 Abrams
Leopard 2A6 mixed with an abrams. It’s kinda like the Grand theft auto 5 tank. It’s just whatever.
I love grebbles man
10/10TANK
I greebled my greeble until I greeble.
我覺得不錯了,算是冷戰時期會出現的現代化坦克
My brother insulated me he is getting greebled tonight
