he put the old part back in if you pay attention to the 2nd part he clearly puts the old dirty part back in , further proof earlier in the video when he shows the parts side by side the new one has a black connector and the original has a white one thus they installed the old part lol , great instruction video on how to remove the motor just putting this up here for full transparency
My blower stops blowing air when I punch the gas. If I'm driving at a "normal" pace, it works fine. But when I try to accelerate too fast, the blower stops blowing air. Could this be the blower motor or something else?
Yeah, easy. RIGHT.. I see you picked a newer Dodge, Now try it on an older 99 and see how easy it is to get that back screw out without a swivel head lol

I only used this video to locate my blower motor so I could smack it real good and make it start running again like a true mechanic
TAKE. MY. MONEY. THANKS, GUYS. YOU ARE FIRST RATE. JUST ORDERED MY BLOWER MOTOR IN 1.5 MINUTES TOTAL AFTER WATCHING THIS VIDEO. YOU ROCK.
I know you didn’t just smack the dash of a 2nd gen 😂😂😂😂
Nicely done..easy setup compare to most..👍
Was the old motor not blowing very hard? My vents on passenger side don’t put out as much volume as the drivers side

You also notice the only position the heater worked at all in was wide open....
@@austincumiford6874 works in all. Theyre just weak in these trucks. Watch it closely
Lol I noticed that too
There demo videos
Who cares… the goal was to show you how to do it
Where does the "Hose" fasten to ?
Hey lenny can u do a video aboit the purporting valve with the 4wire plug by the master cylinder in need of some help thanks
Just a little TV magic with that back screw lmao
Thanks for teaching me how to remove my rat nest , THAT BACK SCREW IS HELL !
Is the plug supposed to have a constant power to it all the time. With the key off and the fan knob off?
Is there a cover for the fan? Like another piece of the dash?
No, it just sits under the dash exactly like at the start of the video
what are the signs of the heater not working in a 2nd gen 99 dodge ram 1500 pick up ?
Hey Lenny I have a question. If you remove the blower motor can I get access to the blendoor motor actuator?
I don't think it would help
.
The actuator is mounted to the outside of the HVAC box.....not the inside

+Rich Sabala Thanks for checking us out! 1AAuto.com
it plane and clear but maybe put in the shots of the three bolts that need removing. might be more helpful
Does it have any filter?
+DJHalo2 Thanks for checking us out! the blower motor does not have a filter.
Is it the same for the dakota??
+r crouch We don't have a how-to video for your vehicle right now, but the basic steps in this video should be enough to do this task.
@@1AAuto I figured. Thank you guys
You put the old one back in you didn't even replace it 🤦
That back screw was an SOB!!
