Hey thank you so much for the video you posted! This is exactly what was wrong with mine and i did the quick fix with the ziptie. Its hotter than hell out here in Dallas Texas and Ive been without the AC for months now
My vacuum line broke behind the dash this last week and I grabbed some new vacuum line and ran it in from the drivers side. Much easier and works as it should now
My vac line broke off under the dash. I didn’t want to remove the dash because it’ll be in pieces. 30 seconds later with this. Might not be right but it work! Thank you
YES this is what i was looking for quick easy and now wonderful cold air on my face, fyi to anyone, i didnt even take anything apart can do it while its running i just wedge my craftsman utility knife in the gap to keep it pressed down and it works pretty good 👍

Thanks!!!!! Bro!!!! Best video advice 😊😊😊😊😊
Thanks a lot
By chance do yall know where to get the part cause mines just went out and Houston hot as hell rn
It’s called Vaccum door actuator , you can get it at any parts store , eBay , or junkyard.
I tried this but it goes back up on its own I’m going to just try a new one and see from there
If you set it just to blow thru the vents it should stay when you turn the a/c or heater on ?
Mine stayed up too. But thats my problem. 99 24v thank you
How did you disconnect it?
Mine was already disconnected when I bought the truck , but I believe you can just unclip from the actuator
