We found that if the EEG is normal the Dr says no epilepsy but we have been told focal seizures can be deep down and not picked up on scalp eeg so how does one get round this
About 50% of people with an epilepsy show no abnormalities on their EEG! However, also to be considered are non-epileptic seizures as well. It's absolutely fine to ask for another opinion!
