    Tried this today and it’s amazing! I added 1t orange extract along with the vanilla and it’s so good. I struggle with the texture of almond flour in baking but this is good. I also increased the sugar by 1T and used confectioners swerve. Amazing! Thank you! Just getting started on making your amazing recipes! Thanks so much!

    I've been making this none stop lately. I add a pinch of salt in the mixture , reduced sugar substitute to 30. then I use a slice of the cake as my pizza base it is amazing!

    Mine in the oven now. In the description you have 3 egg yokes but in the video I only use one. I added all three yolks and it looks yellow

    I follow the same steps in the recipe but the inside of the cake was wet. What should be the reason? Most of the cake recipes that I do with almond flour does not work for me I think :(

      Hello dear, how did you measure your ingredients? Did you test your cake using the toothpick method before taking it out from your oven?

      @@aysenurerdem8408 the toothpick must be totally clean after inserting it in the middle part of your cake. If your bread is still wet after cooling it down completely, your cake is underbaked.

      Hi! I haven’t tried using coconut flour in this recipe. Coconut flour is much more absorbent than other flours, so it’s not possible to substitute without drastically changing the recipe.

    Hello ! Do you think it would be possible to cut it in 3 layers to make a cake out of it ? Or would your lemon chiffon be a better fit for it ? I want to make a keto Swedish princess cake.

      Mika T hi Mika! You may want to double the ingredients to get a thicker cake for you to be able to cut it in 3 parts. Baking time also may change because the cake is thicker. 💕

      Mika T For the texture, they are quite similar IMO. But I still prefer the chiffon cake because it’s quite creamy because of the liquid and oil in the ingredients but if you want a simpler and quicker cake then castella is your option. 😊

    I must be the world's most incompetent baker....I'm trying to make this one and I've been beating the egg whites for 20 minutes and no stiff peaks are forming whatsoever. Had to take a break to ask what am I doing wrong and also because my arm is killing me. At least I'm getting a good workout!

      Copper, stainless-steel, or glass bowls work best for making meringues. Avoid using plastic bowls for whipping egg whites as they can often harbor traces of grease or fat, which prevents the whites from getting stiff. Whichever type of bowl you use, be sure it is spotlessly clean. ❤️
