This tiki bar is MAGNIFICENT. I’m in awe. Every square inch is meticulously crafted or curated. I can’t imagine how much time that all took. But I salute you, sir.
Love to see a tour of your yard in daylight and at night. I'm inspired by your creations working on a tiki bar in my backyard and would love to see more of your space thanks so much for your great videos!!🧜
What, if anything, can be seen from the street? I'm trying to get the orientation and house the breezeway sits in relation to your house and detached garage. I'm assuming it's a detached garage as I'm in California, so it I'm thinking typical mid century house plan.
Spike, I would like to thank you for helping me get through Covid. My partner and I are big cruisers and during covid we couldn't travel to our favorite Caribbean islands. You inspired me to put together a Rhum Bar and taught me how to make fresh and authentic tropical drinks we were craving. You really got us through that difficult time. We've since moved and built the Mai Tai Lanai. I ordered your swizzle sticks today. What a fantastic idea to have them sit on the rim of the glass! We appreciate you more than you know!
I never realized how much you were into the carving and stuff! All the things you pointed out as you having made it, were amazing! I'd love to see you make some videos about carving etc! Also impressed how you were able to identify all the cultures the different pieces came from or were inspired by!
So cool to see The Breezeway up close like this! Amazing work, man. You asked for us to leave a comment if we'd like to see a video on how you made the lagoon. Not only would I love to see that, I'd also love to see videos on how you made other stuff in there as well. The lamps in particular, those look fantastic!
Rad tour! The A-frame is awesome and I love the lamps. There isn't a lot out of info making lamps, so I would vote for a lamp tutorial. Your channel has inspired my home bar and any help creating the bar aethestic would be great!
The translucent shell material is called "capiz" in the former Spanish possessions in the Pacific including the Marianas, Guam, and the Philippines. It's from a big shallow-waters bi-valve critter
This place is amazing. It's the kind of thing a company could never replicate. Has to be born out of one person's love & creativity... Plus two dashes of crazy and a spritz of weird.
I'm irrationally jealous of that Temple to Tiki! I live in the Snowy Northeast and I can only dream of having a climate so conducive to a build like that. Fantastic job, enjoy!
Absolutely beautiful! Keep living your dream. I am going to bartending school in four more weeks and I am so excited and I want to to work in a tiki bar
Layers upon layers upon layers indeed. From what you see in the weekly videos you'd have no idea just how much is going on in your bar without that tour. Looks amazing. And i'm just in the middle of making some of those corks and bottles suspended on rope although i don't remember them from the Book of Tiki (i'll have to pull my copy out and have a look - it's been a while anyway), i remember them from the Kon Tiki in AZ. They had heaps of them.
The upgraded Breezeway is just unbelievable ❤it retains the character of the old Breezeway but takes it even further into Tiki history and culture ❤ just incredible 🎉🎉
Super awsome. U got me going on a old outhouse near the pool. Thanks for al the great ideas❤ my roof is much lower so i have 2 get creative but covering al the wood suporting the roof with some bambu grass made it look real good. As far as hanging stuff in the roof i think i will have 2 just tuck it in there so guests wont suffer any headache. Great build now i have my vacation saved😂
I'm building my own outdoor Tikibar on my balcony. I'm far from done but so far i'm enjoying the process. It's always nice to watch your videos for extra inspiration!
You ever think about doing a How to video on how you made the lava rock fountains? Its pretty amazing and realistic, would love to know how you did it! Amazing job on the whole bar! life goals for sure
This is why I have respect for you. Your attention to detail and history. Plus your collection is something to brag about. When I seen the photoshop pic of the a-frame, I questioned it. But seeing the end result is mind blowing. Bravo.
Been watching your show since lockdown. I love The Breezeway and your collection of great tiki stuff. But something I'm curious about that I don’t think you’ve ever discussed is your fantastic lighting. Your color theory and even the technical aspects of how you have it all put together. Hope you can touch on that in a future episode. Thanks!
Absolutely Loving the Channel! I just discovered Tiki within the past week and I have spent HOURS watching your content!! Your bar is stunning!!! Definitely planning my own now!! Cheers!
Super fun vlog, thanks! I've wanted to get a better feel for the whole bar/experience since the upgrades and this was perfect. Knowing the general set up helps the episodes feel more intimate and like hanging with a friend.
Missed your live Instagram, but got the new merch! 🙂 Loved the tour of the bar. It's come so far since your first show oh so long ago. Great depth and complexity. Truly something you can keep coming back to again and again, seeing something new each time. And the new entryway is amazing! Kudos, good sir, and salud!
Excellent job well done! Aloha! It looks like what a real castaway would have set up on a remote island salvaging items off a half-sunken freighter from 1932 after a cruise to Singapore like the Skipper!
Looks amazing. Would it be more like a rebuilt, but bigger? You need a pool next to it or a spa. I have a pool, but I won’t commit to make it more tropical themed.
I'd have to seriously consider hanging a skeleton from that prow you have that green float on. Maybe dress it in some rags and put a wood sign around it's neck like we hang pirates or something. You got one cool backyard bar there.
Your bottle is in fact Bacardi (bahhcarDEE) rum, a Catalan family name interestingly enough, the label lists the cities and years it won the award of Gran Premio (Grand Prize) 🥂
Your remodel is incredible! So creative how you approached the design & build challenges and wow, what an amazing collection of items you've assembled! On a related note, I would love your broken Chinese jade tiles! 😍 I will Kintsugi them 😊💖 Serious offer, please do let me know.
Joining the crowd here in requesting tutorials on carving, lamp making etc...how do you drill a hole in the Japanese fish net floats without breaking them? Your place is so cool, I really admire your dedication to appeasing the gods of Tiki.
Dude. As always, EPIC video!! And yes, please please do a carving tutorial. I’m doing some now and it’s so fun but I’d love to see how you do it so well. Thanks!
You didn't build a bar, you built an experience! Excellent work!
Great episode! Would love some tutorials on how you made all those awesome elements in your tiki bar!
This tiki bar is MAGNIFICENT. I’m in awe. Every square inch is meticulously crafted or curated. I can’t imagine how much time that all took. But I salute you, sir.
We need you in miami
Definitely want a trim/sign carving tutorial!!!
The best home bar I’ve seen, by a long shot. Starting a build, much smaller different theme, but this is so inspirational.

Coolamundo! Hats off to you for all the effort and hard work. looks really good.

I love the new open A-frame roof!! It looks so cool. Good thing you hung all those lamps and made the old one fall down.😛

You are so creative, your tiki bar, tiki garden, your collection, lantern, carving...
You built everything. Thank you for showing us.
Yes to both episodes on trim carving and how you built the volcano lagoon!
Rad tour! The A-frame is awesome and I love the lamps. There isn't a lot out of info making lamps, so I would vote for a lamp tutorial. Your channel has inspired my home bar and any help creating the bar aethestic would be great!
It has been awhile since we have been there Spike, the rebuild is crazy good!

Wow! I have to take a minute to let it all sink in and then take the tour again. Absolutely amazing, dude!
Yes please episode on the lagoon and an ep on trim carving! Do you have one on making crate lamps?
I don't, but that's a great idea!
The upgraded Breezeway is just unbelievable ❤it retains the character of the old Breezeway but takes it even further into Tiki history and culture ❤ just incredible 🎉🎉

This video is so inspiring! Kudos to you, you’ve really become a leader in the Tiki community.

Tutorial on the trim would be awesome as well!
I'd like to... Soon!
I really enjoy your aesthetic sensibilities. Your photography and music ROCK.
You seriously inspire us. I can't wait until our bar gets a little bigger and has as much beautiful stuff as yours. ❤️ Definitely a slice of paradise.
Love this video! I would really enjoy a deeper dive into the gear you made, especially the lamps.
AMAZING!! WOW! 👏👏👏🔥🔥🔥👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
calling this amazing would be an understatement. so very cool
This is why I have respect for you. Your attention to detail and history. Plus your collection is something to brag about. When I seen the photoshop pic of the a-frame, I questioned it. But seeing the end result is mind blowing. Bravo.
Wow! When can we come over? So amazing! Each detail is a work of dedication!! 👏👏
the paint on the floor outside should be like a treasuremap, leading to the entrance.. 😄👍
That would be cool!
Crazy wild! BTW, the shell material is called “capiz shells”, we have a full capiz chandelier in our place.
You are a true artist! This is the most amazing tiki bar I’ve ever seen! Perfection!!!
Wow, very cool and so much bigger than I had imagined from the show
Its interesting how much better this video has performed than so many of the other ones. Every episode is so good!
Every time I see the Breezeway I’m just in awe!! Wow! Love to see it in person one day! Also ordered the amazing swizzles and coasters.
Wow, this is freaking cool. You make my backyard bar look like childs play. Great job.
Bro, you are a legend, cheers to taking it all the way!

Great suggestion! I'll write that down so that I don't forget it.
Beautiful work! Do you have videos of just the framing? You’ve inspired me.
What’s amazing bar full of history and great stories
Thank you, friend ☺️
So talented, Spike. I sincerely admire your accomplishments! Aloha! Okole Maluna! Cheers!
This is literally the coolest personal tiki bar I’ve ever seen !! So much inspiration here !!
Thank you so much!
Would love to see how you built the volcano. Thinking about doing the same but with fake or real flame. Maybe a fog machine inside also.
Absolutely Loving the Channel! I just discovered Tiki within the past week and I have spent HOURS watching your content!! Your bar is stunning!!! Definitely planning my own now!! Cheers!
Welcome aboard! And thank you so much!
Stunning! What a ton of work and planning, but wow, it must have been fun and it looks to have paid off tremendously. Just amazing. The yard too!
Dude I wanna see more of your little lagoon area! Super cool
That would be so awesome to see an episode of The lagoon
Collecting, woodworking, and drinking. What a sick hobby.
Super fun vlog, thanks! I've wanted to get a better feel for the whole bar/experience since the upgrades and this was perfect. Knowing the general set up helps the episodes feel more intimate and like hanging with a friend.
Great video Spike! Love all of it. I can sure appreciate the level of work in your roof tear down and re-do. Now, I got some stuff to go order!!!
Missed your live Instagram, but got the new merch! 🙂 Loved the tour of the bar. It's come so far since your first show oh so long ago. Great depth and complexity. This is soooo impressive! I love it ❤
Amazing episode on your excellent work on the Breezeway! We definitely need a lagoon episode!!
Excellent job well done! Aloha! It looks like what a real castaway would have set up on a remote island salvaging items off a half-sunken freighter from 1932 after a cruise to Singapore like the Skipper!

🎉perfect home tiki experience!! Love ❤️ it!
Your tiki is amazing! Thanks for sharing
Thank you! 😊
I missed the episode of Snowfall where Teddy builds a Tiki Bar. Awesome job!
Pretty damn cool! I love tiki bars, my fave in Seattle was the Fabulous Palm Room.
Looks amazing. Would it be more like a rebuilt, but bigger? You need a pool next to it or a spa. I have a pool, but I won’t commit to make it more tropical themed.
Absolutely awesome! I guess you'll need to have us back again on your show! 😛 Getting my swizzle sticks now!
Would love to see a video on how you build some of the lamps with Tapa and resin
GOALS...this proves it, MORE IS MORE...thanks for the inspiration and for blowing my mind...CHEERS...!
Looks absolutely incredible. Your attention to detail is amazing. This is the work of an artist.
Great video! Would love in-depth videos on carving posts and the volcano!
PS you are welcome to Echo Island any time!
I'd have to seriously consider hanging a skeleton from that prow you have that green float on. Maybe dress it in some rags and put a wood sign around it's neck like we hang pirates or something. You got one cool backyard bar there.
This is my most favorite video you’ve made so far! I’m in love with the Breezeway!
Oh my..😮😮 this isn't just a bar.. its a magic place!
Thank you so much.
Your bottle is in fact Bacardi (bahhcarDEE) rum, a Catalan family name interestingly enough, the label lists the cities and years it won the award of Gran Premio (Grand Prize) 🥂
