@@MisterMikeTexas I've worked with Enterprise and I can tell you the problem is with corporate and regional managers. They promise so much to customers and let the people on the ground suffer the consequences. What do I mean!? The reservation system is typically independent from the branch actual count. Only the regional manager or higher can monitor the reservation system and cut off if there's no availability. And this is where the problem starts. A customer goes online makes a reservation expecting to have the vehicle on site at the branch when they get there only to find out the vehicle is not even available and they have to be called back or wait while the branch manager in training starts calling around to find any branch that has the vehicle available. And it's worse on the weekends since the people monitoring the booking system are off for the weekend and most branches are either closed. Also most people who rent tend to bring back vehicles after hours and since they are already on a rental it's not courteous to call them and demand the vehicle back when due because most customers also tend to extend their contracts. So the vehicle you might have expected today might not be available for another 2 days. A lot of burden is put on the managers in training and from the video you can tell how frustrating it can be. She mentioned she had been busy running up and down which I can attest happens everyday at a busy location. Now for her being racist well it could be but we need more collected evidence to validate that but from what I could tell from the video this is was a person who had reached the edge and not necessarily by the black customers but collectively as things were not going her way for a smooth operation. I quit Enterprise for this sole reason. They are more focused on profits but not on efficiency or customer experience nor employee welfare because this is mental fatigue if you have to deal with customers and have to lie to them everyday.

Did the story ever say he phoned ahead and reserved one? And even if you do, there is still no business contract until you go in and sign for it and/or put money on it. And even then if it's "just a deposit", you will likely find they reserve the right to return the deposit for a myriad of reasons. Hey, they're offering the service and taking most of the risk! This era of entitlement has people forgetting this.
Sometimes minorities are their own worst enemies towards one another. A spanish woman discriminating against a black man. Years ago, I worked for Southern Bell on Miami Beach. My Spanish friend and I decided to grab a quick meal at a Cuban restaurant nearby. We ordered the food. But, prior to it arriving, my friend told me to get up, let’s leave. Apparently, the Cuban waitress was saying derogatory things in Spanish about black people and she was hurt by it. I thanked her for taking me out 0f that environment.
Hahaha, Hispanics in Miami think that they are white and you would be surprised that they don't like black people just as much as most white people. They think white people will accept them if they treat black people like that. It's almost like trying to impress white folks
The cops started questioning her 😂 even the cop was like, "what's your reason?" Cops have probably rented from there on vacation times/families etc.. and knew their rules better than that worker
This has happened to me before. A rental car agent was either trying to hold a car for a friend, or wanted to void my rental in order to charge more for it since it was an extremely busy holiday weekend. After calling customer service, they called the same store and my car magically turned up. Funny because it's one way in and out and I was outside the entire time on the phone meaning that car was there the whole time. Just funny business going on with that employee.
He waited three+one hours and she expected him to wait more hours behind new customers? I partially blame enterprise. These rental companies sold a bunch of their cars last year and don't have anything to rent. Their margins are tight and they always have one or at most three workers managing each branch. They will settle esp if he recorded enough. They probably already fired her.

I worked at enterprise for years and as a black woman it was one of the most demoralizing jobs I’ve ever had. There’s the frat boy culture. Being told by a manager to use my looks to sell coverage. Have managers make me deny certain customers for looking “sketchy”….sketchy usually meaning POC, or unkempt. It’s too bad that one employee because of a bad attitude and nasty disposition can make the whole company look bad.
Something does not smell right about this. Anyone can easily go on line to reserve a car. There is no need to sit and wait for three hours, as this man claimed.
This is what a hotel did with my father in Tennessee while we were driving from Kansas City. The parking lot was empty. Lesson: Book your reservations or car rentals online through Hotwire, Expedia or Kayak ahead of time so that they can’t deny you. And it’s cheaper.
Why can't the car rental employee refer to him as a black male if the media is going to refer to him as a black male when they tell the story? As a matter of fact it will be the very first piece of information the media puts in front of you. Identity politics is funny.
Listen.....are you or are you not a professional, is the question. Diffuse his anger; find a solution. Find the yes. How many Enterprises are there in the area? Find this man's yes. Don't be a child. That is all.
Not to worry he hit the black lottery and soon will not need Enterprise any longer, BMW or better for him now on. May he can pick you up, but don't count on it.
This sounds routine for enterprise rent a car. Years ago I reserved an suv for my family to travel out of town for a family member funeral. When we got to the office to pick up the suv we were denied the suv "cause Hispanic people steal them and take them to Mexico". I was furious at the accusation and the idiot behind the counter. I immediately called enterprise headquarters and informed them of the situation. They did apologize for the incident and arranged for a smaller suv. We accepted the smaller suv as we had to get to the funeral. I have not and never will rent another vehicle from them. Why do employees (mostly female ones) feel the need to act like they own the store and the products sold there. If the customer wants the BMW and is willing to pay for it then who are you to say he can't have it? It's not the employee's car and they are there to process the customer's info and hand him the keys. Done.

In Chicago, I've been rented an Enterprise car with expired plates and was stopped twice in the course of returning it at the end of the day. When I informed the attendant, I was not charged for the rental and given a ride to the train station, all of which I appreciated. However, one of the stops was embarrassing because it happened at the height of the rush hour and the plain clothes cops were loud and aggressive and one had his gun drawn when he approached the passenger's side window. Since that, I have stopped renting from Enterprise.

He waited three+one hours and she expected him to wait more hours behind new customers? I partially blame enterprise. And where I live in California, a lot of whites don't want to to deal with or be around young white guys who dress and talk a certain way. Same for hispanics. Not saying it's right, but that's the way it is.

Were you there? I’m not disputing what you’re saying, I’d really like to hear from a witness because the media did not give the woman a chance to tell her side of the story.
but she would be the very same person to claim, "I'm not racist, it's just certain people I don't like...oops... I mean they are rude for coming in here.
