It’s fun to watch Light played. I watched a few games of his, last one was the dark Templar dropped, and the Wraith play was really fun and effective catching middle reaver drops. Thank you Artosis!
always scary in a PvT when after each engagement you lose half your army, pulls back, and terran don't lose any tanks. and you just watch the tank count gets higher and higher then it's all over
Felt like there were so many opportunities for Protoss to commit to fights when Terran was out of position and he would have won (for example the battle outside toss’s third where he could have wrapped around and attacked from the high ground) but he was too afraid and dint have enough information. Game could have gone differently with two engagements where the Protoss stomped. But Light clearly played better, unsurprisingly.
12:40 why don't they just wait until the reaver is dead before they bring their scvs back in? i've seen this multiple times, sometimes it leads to huge numbers of additional scvc getting killed for no reason whatsoever.
Protoss threw away like 20 supply of zealots near the end trying to run through Light's massive minefield. He needed some hallucinated zealots or something because that just wasn't gonna cut it. And yeah the recovery was insane by Light, flat out showing who the stronger player was through the vast majority of this match. Crazy how not repairing that bunker enough set him back so far.
Even though you don't have an advantage in the game, you haven't lost. I know that after such a Protoss invasion, I tend to dwell on defeat and play as a loser, rushing things. This Terran player was patient, didn't waste tanks, disrupted the opponent a lot, and built up their advantage. The key is patience + wraith, and I believe game intelligence. PGT = Olympic rank. Toss is just A.
Thoughts on the P attack at 14:08? And then, regardless of whether you consider the attack to be good attack or not, thoughts on the retreat at 14:27? Same question for the P attack at 21:00 into the retreat at 21:11. Put differently: After attacking into entrenched siege tank positions like here, is it generally considered better to do a painfully costly retreat, or to keep attacking at the risk of losing the entire army?
I think he could've pushed on with the14:08 attack and walked the goons right up on the tanks. Wouldn't have won but he would've reduced the tank numbers and ended up with a better trade then he got from taking that engagement and retreating like he did. Retreating at 21:00 made more sense, his units wasn't even close and there was plenty of vultures still around to meat wall. If he had pushed that attack further he would've lost everything and it would've been gg.
14:52 - the marines are right there, dude >_< You spent like a whole minute talking about Light not having any marines while they were in the middle of the screen lol.
Bottom-*Right*... I love when I'm transported into opposite world! Plus also!!! OH NO, the 3Dimensional Arch - i.e. he's in a bubble! But wait... how do people NOT get upgrades? I don't get it... When you say no upgrades at 13:15 and he's 'Tried/Focussed' on denying Terran upgrades, but then doesn't even do any for himself. That's so weird. The moment you have 10 or more of a unit getting +1/+1 is worth it. And that's the very earliest part of the game.
Protoss couldn't get early upgrades in this game, because he went fast tech to reavers. All his gas was being spent on other stuff. He could have made a couple fewer goons to get a forge and weapons upgrade, but personally I'd rather have the goons. Eventually, the upgrades are obviously worth it, and he does get them.
yeah, it's the worst matchup by a mile... always the same vulture/tank vs zealot/goon play. It's only good when arbiters or carriers enter the game. Both the TvZ and PvZ are better.
I was just thinking that it was great patience by Light. He just moved back and forth holding the middle of the map until he had one great engagement and could push through. It felt reminiscent of his play against Rain in the ASL 13 Finals.
I skip all PvP's and ZvZ's, and some PvZ's, but othereise I watch every Terran game you upload. I don't even play the game, so it's not like I main a race, but I find TvZ's and TvP's more entertaining.
Dear Artosis, I love your casts; you cast a lot of great games and cast a lot of light on the inner workings of this great game. However, "casted" is not a word. Tell Tasteless too, thanks mate!
"Here is Light the best player in the world." -> proceeds to completely get wrecked by a cheese he scouted with a high ground on his natural, against a 2600 player. You keep saying Light is the best player but I don't think that means what you think it means.
No, viewers talking and commenting about the game is how UA-cam channels grow and viewers share their perspectives. Don't read comments before watching the video if you don't want spoilers.

As a casual watcher, it's always so impressive how Artosis has such spot on casting.
He actually play the game on high level so..
He said that Light was in the bottom right.. LUL
much prefer arty as a caster than as a player
@pizza_volcano same.
If I just wanted to watch a nerd getting angry when they lose I could just record myself.
19:40 I love the zoomed out view. Super helpful to see large-scale map movement and multiple skirmishes at once.
I love the zoom out function too! Don't apologize for using it!
This. Anything that gives better perspective on what's going on is a good.
11:02 First time I'm seeing wraith rockets spiral like that.
Light gave that one wraith some holming missiles...lol not rockets
securing the early game lead and not going carriers on that map? POTATOOOOO
The way light stopped those dragoons from shuttle hopping into base before his turrets where complete. 👌
Another amazing game by Light! Didn't get RT Bingo this video; the last square I needed was "I've got chills"!
Jokes aside, really loving these casts!
15:21 2 marines right in the middle of the screen. He didn't have to make one. :D
New camo upgrade for marines lol
@@EebstertheGreat the thing is he clicked on them like 10 secs before that and still didn't notice them. xD
Old eyes, can't see tiny marines.
00:46 The probe casually walking through terrain 🙂

HAPPY Sunday

Phenomenal cast as always artosis. Terran imba.

i've been waiting for the new video entire sunday
arty looking for validation for his not-expanding strategy
he's just a 2 base bimbo
Light makes this look so easy lmao.
Invade couldn't handle the brew
tvp recipe for victory: lay mines, siege, win
And in the meantime - survive reavers, protoss push with psi-storms, arbiters, dt drops etc. :D
Incredible Game! I really learned a lot, regarding Zealot Harass.
Love you Artosis - Thanks for doing these videos!
Can't believe the recovery from Light!
Wish you all the success Arty
Oh no arty gonna play one base now 😮
Light expanded earlier than Invade. He got pushed back off his natural from quick reaver pressure. Did you watch the game?

A large group of fish is called a “school”. A large group of crowd is called a “murder”.
What’s a large group of spider mines called?
A genocide?
Tank bait
a Drag of mines
A nuke of mines, because that's their damage potential
Love you Artosis
Light is a monster. What a masterful defense against that proxy robo.
“Light in the bottom right”
20:00 Mines to protect against Psi- Storms? I think High Templars don’t drag mines, do they?

Protoss should’ve hit that main mineral line right after smashing the expansion
Are high templars not floating units? I don’t see why mines would deter them otherwise.
they are not floating units, no. Workers, Vultures, and the Archon are the only floating units.
@@ArtosisCasts (Psst, the Dark Archon too.)
I always thought this was a strange choice by Blizzard, since HTs literally float. Maybe it was a balance decision.
At first I thought Light was going to get GGed, damn he expanded his base really fast making despite being Proxied by a shuttle with goons
He's a spectacular commentator!!
WTF was that pathing at 0:48, moonwalking probe
Eggs are units! Regular glide.
invade really should go carriers if he can't pull off better tactical engagements than that; there's no way that he'll win out over light that way
14:52 - the marines are right there, dude >_< You spent like a whole minute talking about Light not having any marines while they were in the middle of the screen lol.
Damn high level game
Artosis_listen____mix_the_terran_theme_as_loud_as_possible_
old top players vs newcomer underdogs is interesting
Little wonder that RT cast this, he's always on either 1 or 2 base.
0:08 bottom right. Right?

invade has been invaded!
Why did mr. Protoss not build any Arbiters?
That was some aggressive play by light. Intense pressure
I was just thinking that it was great patience by Light. He just moved back and forth holding the middle of the map until he had one great engagement and could push through. It felt reminiscent of his play against Rain in the ASL 13 Finals.
Ооо молодец терраны не сдавайся, я поддержу терраны ❤️🚀
POUND THE GOONS
Or maybe bunker is a just a decoy?
haven't seen carrier games in a while
beautifully game wow

AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW HELLLLL YEAHHH BROTHER MAAANNNNNN

Why are EMPs vs protoss so rare?
Want a game. What a caster. What a time to be alive
Carriers bruh. Carriers ….
nice
Sad Protoss has no answer for siege tanks!
Other than RUNNN....
Ay moo
I got click baited
That's a weird looking bottom right 😅
For the algo
terran OP on this map. either the map or terrans gotta be nerfed. invade had such a huge advantage. not sure y he didnt tech to carriers
Protoss has a 55% winrate on this map in PvT. Get pooped on scrub
Spoilers.
Classic 1.5 base Terran > 3 base protoss
gg
