My 2019 has the rear seat tip-out pulls. I wonder why mine (TRD Off-Road) has them. One thing I like about Tacomas is how many things are pre-drilled or already set up for customizing. They certainly have the mod in mind when designing these trucks. Toyota seems to be one of the easiest trucks to actually "work" on.
I think those seatbelt holsters are meant to be utilized when you have your seat bottoms opened and you're trying to shut them back in the seating position. Those holsters hold your seatbelt buckles up and out of the way so you're not fighting to hold them up while closing the seat back down.
Thanks rob! Didn’t know bout seat pulls bc I got 2020 will def make some. Also didn’t know bout seatbelt pouches and the clip to hold seatbelt. Thank ya!
Brilliant! It’s neat to know the nuances that they designed it to the Tacoma years ago that are so useful hopefully they retain them in the new one. As always, great video Rob!
those suggestions you made with the head rest and the backseat seatbelt holder, made a huge difference. More so with the headrest and nice to see the rear window without the head rest... 🤣thank you for the information. Update on that tire sensor, actually did come on the dash board screen. guess it just needed a little time. Thank you again . much appreciate the input . Hope all is well .
Aloha and 🌟 Good Evening 🌙 Rob. These are very good 👍 new items that Toyota installed into the current Tacoma. I never thought that Toyota 👂 listened to you and the other consumers on what should be in the Tacoma. Therefore, it's nice to see that Toyota kept their consumer base happy 😊. Great video 📼 Rob.🐶🐕🦌🐈🐅🐆
Rob i hate window regulators . The regulators raise and lower the window using stainless steel cables. I replaced all 4 window regulators on a 2001 Buick Century . I have no confidence in electric windows . I luv manual crank up window as they run on gear teeth. Almost everything is remote . I remember when i was a kid if you wanted to change a television channel you had to get your rump up to change it. Today we are so lazy it only takes one button push to get what you want. Maybe that why many are overweight. I wish my Tacoma had manual crank windows.
One feature I miss in a 2022 Pro is the w Startup screen customization. I had a 2019 OR and was able to add a startup image but with the new entune 3.0 head unit, there is no option to do so that I’ve found. I think Toyota missed the mark there.
I actually prefer no seat pulls showing. If they don't show, maybe if someone breaks into your truck they won't know there is a compartment under the seats. I plan on storing my bugout bag with rifle behind the seat.
Hey Rob great video as always. I have a couple of questions where did you get the grab handles on the back of the front seats and what company rain guard do you have and are they a low profile. 🛻
I use the “pen holder” for a tire pressure gauge.

Yup! Love how they set it up👍
The best truck out there!😍🤘
Great little items we Tacoma owners have
For sure👍
On the automatics the center divider for the cup holders does come out. took me like a year to realize this, made cleaning way easier
Nice👍
LOVE the pen holder!!! Just ran out to check it out, and sure enough, it is there!!!
Pretty good use for it with the right size pen👍
Cool stuff. Did not know there was a pen holder in the center console lid. Ile Have to check mine.
Should be there. Been around for years 👍

Definitely works for that too👍
Thanks. Didn't know a couple of those!!!
Thanks for watching 👍👍

Glad to help👍

Absolutely 👍
Excellent video, as usual. Great point about lifting the back seat from the side & placing too much torque on the hinge - never thought of that.
Yup! Can’t be good for hinge longevity!!😬

Lol! I’m afraid I’m totally opposite! Give me convenience every time😂
Very informative thanks !
Thanks for watching Moises👍
Hey rob,
What phone mounts do you use? I’d love to add them to my trucj

Goood morning mr. Rob where did you get that center console customized logo done ? it looks very cool 😎 thanks 😊
Custom Taco Stitcher.. Not sure he does it anymore though🤔
Good tips
Thanks 👍
Rob the slot under the arm rest I've always used it as a pen holder
Works great for that👍

Yup, that was fun to mess with👍
Brilliant!
Thanks 👍
I think that the Tundra has the drop down headrest my 2017 and 2020 Tundras had them like that.
Great feature for sure 👍
The pen holder!? New one for me
Not the original intent…but works well👍
Is the color of the truck Magnetic Grey Metallic?
It is.
@@RobMotive
Nice! I have a 2023 TRD Sport coming next month in that color. It’s gorgeous.
Congrats! I bet you’re excited 👍
You store the valet key from your fob in there
Don’t see how? 🤔

I would never leave a weapon unlocked in a vehicle no matter out of sight or not.
@@RobMotive Who says it's unlocked? They make safes designed to go behind the seats. But, hiding it is just another layer of protection.
If it’s locked (in a safe or other secure method) then it’s good👍
It's for a pen, it goes all the way back to the first gen.
Originally It wasn’t 🤔
Gotta say I'm not digging that interior.
Wow, they left us a threaded hole for a 10 cent seat belt pull that they cheapened out on while raising prices on trucks….how thoughtful of Toyota…..🤨
Very generous 😬
