The ReMinD Cutscenes provided better context as to why Xigbar (aka Luxu) was interested and after the Black Box in _Kingdom Hearts III_ instead of overhearing it from Maleficent and Pete off-screen and decided to follow them. Even Luxord brought up an interesting point, cause it sure wasn't Xehanort or Xemnas who ordered Xigbar to look for the Box, especially the former as Xehanort was only interested in the clash for Light and Darkness. Although it seems that throughout KH3 *ONLY* Xigbar and Luxord were the only members in the Real Organization XIII to look for the Black Box while the rest of them were in the Disney worlds just looking for the New Seven Hearts (Marluxia in Corona, Larxene in Arendelle) or filling out their missing members for the Replica Program by doing research on some of the inhabitants of the Disney worlds (e.g. Young Xehanort in Toy Box, Vexen in The Caribbean and Dark Riku in San Fransokyo). Vanitas was pretty much the *ONLY* member who did none of the three things the Organization did (Black Box, Replica program, New Seven Hearts) as he was only interested in merging back into Ventus' heart and stealing the negative emotions/screams he collected in Monstropolis to fuel him while also using Randall for his own use. So many mysteries will await in the Forteller saga.
well we already knew xigbar was looking for the box because he used to own it but lost it at some point. MoM literally gave it to him and told him to safeguard it, keep it out of sight. at some point he managed to lose track of it. of course it wasn't xehanort or xemnas who gave the order, it was entirely xigbar's doing. also i believe luxord got vexen to look for the box too, since he comments on being disappointed by the "box" in the Caribbean only containing Dave Jones's heart and not anything more relevant. but otherwise it does seem like it was just xigbar and luxord. Although Saix does know they're looking for the box too, just not why. (on that note, it's interesting he brought this up in front of Xehanort, who seemed to not pay much mind to it. Maybe Xehanort did actually know the box is important in some way too and hoped Xigbar could find it? that never really ended up being important for him after the fact tho so. shrug)
@@kefkaexdeath I know that it’s just like I said before I just feel in my personal opinion the cutscenes from ReMind provided much more better context regarding Xigbar on who he really is and what the Real Organization XIII was doing during and prior to the events of _Kingdom Hearts III_ compared to the actual KH3 cutscenes.
Makes sense why Vanitas did his own thing to get back with Ventus. If there is some mcguffin that Darkness needs back from Ventus, and such could be in an incomplete or vulnerable physical state. Being back into Ventus, causing great reaction while at the same time Darkness gets back out of Ven and returns as the ephemeral being we see in the Data World past.
This! We got a visual though of the driver in the car. I wonder if anyone's analysed that to see if there's any further evidence that proves the car driver is indeed Luxord or his somebody?
@@readingchameleon someone did. It's possible he might be from the other side. I think another person messaged the voice actor asking him and he said something cryptic. That was when you beat Yozora since there are two different versions of the cutscene. It's a little different when you win. Nomura said Sora losing is the canonical ending to that btw.
I don't know what was better: the rock version of The Encounter, or the appearances of Valor and Wisdom forms. Also, anyone else still really curious about Luxord? Him and Demyx are the only two OG Organization members who we've never even met the Somebodies of. Think they might've gotten revealed during Missing Link when they were still working on that one?
OK, I’m gonna say it now . I actually enjoyed the game plus in Kingdom hearts 3 after all, it’s not very often you get to use a version of the Ultima Weapon all throughout a kingdom hearts game . But anyways , great work here Everglow . And the old drive forms too ? Now that’s amazing . Also, the fruit heartless minigame in Olympus was getting on my everlasting nerves .
To be honest, that doesn't really make sense. Those abilities mainly come from his clothes and Valor form at the very least is a default unlock. Regaining enough to unlock Wisdom at least makes sense as Sora at least is more decent at magic.
I've always liked Luxord as a character but in KH3/Remind it really shows us how dangerous he is, like he'll do what he's told, but he sees things others overlook, his gambling persona is just that a persona, if/when he comes back in KH4 and beyond I believe he will truly be a threat to the Master of Masters and the Foretellers. I think these scenes with him showing off his smarts is gonna lead into a story arc for him and he may very well be the key to defeating Master of Masters or one of them at least.
So we meet again, Lythos and Hydros, for the last time. And I see you brought Pyros and Stratos. Well, too bad for you, Titans. You 4 are going to die today!

As I said, I’m not sure. Love the care you put into this either way, you’re amazing man.
It also shows that he only got Valor and Wisdom, the two most basic forms in KH2, losing the stronger ones completely. And it's true that Sora lost a lot of his power, but that's more on what he almost gained in DDD. It's more or less assumed that these "level downs" leave him a little bit in the middle of the previous game and end up way stronger by the end.
I feel like this is more of a vanilla issue than anything to do with mods since the game already shows Sora defeating all three titans at once without much struggle, two of which were superbosses in the past. (like the Achilles Statue ;_; ) oh well, I'll live lmao i also LOVED the quick transition from valour form back to base form using the lightning flash. Chef Kiss moment. and gaining wisdom form right as you start sliding around on rails and airstepping feels just perfect. also curious about the sudden appearance of Oathkeeper in that one moment too tho? is there a symbolic reasoning there i'm missing or just to remind us he still has it and can use it if he wants
After our heroes had some trash talk from Xigbar, they make their way to Mt. Olympus where Hercules takes some time away from Sora, Donald and Goofy for a while to head up to the top first. This is also where Sora and his friends learn why Hercules is so desperate to become a True Hero, he’s a demigod and the son of Zeus, the ruler of the Greek Gods. With this, our heroes also get to battle the Titans that Hades freed, having rematches with the Rock and Ice Titans and first time battles with the Lava and Tornado Titans. Our heroes defeat them with Hercules freeing Zeus and throwing the Titans into space. Meanwhile, Maleficent and Pete’s first attempt at finding the Black Box comes up empty as we see Xigbar watching them and Luxord confronts him before leaving.

I always like to think of the Timeline as an experiment. I wasn’t sure if it could be a welcome one but, somehow, it was so well received that it exceeded my expectations.
The original 2018 Timeline was just a way to re-live all of the Kingdom Hearts titles leading to KH3, in a different, yet familiar way. But I've seen so many requests of seeing this project to be continued that I decided to go on with KH3 in a special way.
I can’t stress enough the purpose of this project-this doesn’t want to be the best or the perfect way of experiencing the Kingdom Hearts saga.
All of the titles should be played following their release dates. The Timeline is simply an alternate way of experiencing the story we already know and only players who already played the games should watch it. New players would be spoiled about some plot points, so be warned.
This project gives you a different perspective on specific events, and the adding of new musics, flashbacks, callbacks and secret reports, makes the whole experience even more unique and immersive.

@@kefkaexdeath I mean, considering Kairi's lucky charm is the keychain for Oathkeeper, the better question is why he doesn't start with it in KHII.

Is Riku suppose to sink in Realm of Darkness when Xigbar says the line
that's what one notable theory states. I believe it, but it's not canon and also not the most important thing to include.
Pretty cool.
