I really wish they brought back the average human villains in later games. Clayton is proof that they could have made Gaston and Frollo work as early game bosses.
All that Frollo would've been fighting with is a sword, and unlike Sephiroth in Kingdom Hearts Final Mix who was extremely adept at fighting with a melee weapon, Frollo wouldn't have had any special moves.

Some can hold on their own though which I like and admire. The keyblade is strong, but many villains are skilled fighters with their own powerful weapons can still match well!
While I liked Monstropolis in 3 for the most part, I really wish Randall teamed up with the Lump of Horror instead of never actually fighting you. It could have been a fun throwback to this fight where Randall's invisibility and speedy hit and run fighting style could compliment the raw power and bulk of his Unversed minion.
Every now and then during my mundane everday activities I'll let out a "heehoohoohaha, not clayton!" even though I haven't played this game since I was a child lmao. Coming back to it for the first time now I am not disappointed. Some things just stick with you

It's cool but yet annoying that the Stealth Sneak has invincibility when it's doing that charge looking attack. It doesn't die until after it finishes the attack and that's only if he doesn't repeat it again
He does, but it's nothing to write home about. "Goodbye!" when he's about to shoot his gun "You're tougher than I expected!" when he's using a potion on himself "This can't be happening..." when defeated. There's probably more, but yeah, I know I'm late with this comment.
So, here is my advice, that’s reaaallly easy: first you have to fight him in the first phase. After that you just climb up the cliff and wait there, he is nearly not able to get there, he did it once and after that he fell to the ground. Donald and Tarzan will fight him and if they die, they will rehabilitate soon and keep on fighting. I just stood there doing nothing for about 15min (I was on my phone) until I restored my mana and used my magic against him. He fell off his chameleon and I jumped down, attacking him as if there was no tomorrow. The chameleon hit me one time so I needed a potion, but that’s it. I let Donald and Tarzan do all the work ^^
The first 20 times I was like "Jesus Clayton shot Tarzan" the next 30 times I realized the Lizard probably just hitted him. Dont play this shit on expert mode.

The issue with the other Kingdom Hearts is that the core villains were just bit villains, not major ones. Too many original the characters made it really hard to stay invested in whatever story it would have if nothing bound them together.

I always get stuck on this level, it’s like the chameleon kills me seconds after the fight starts, and I don’t have any potion, or can find any before the battle.
Honestly I had some rage moments with this guy the last time I played this game and today, I took him out with less deaths than before and I defeated him! I feel very refreshed and happy! ^^ This guy was difficult for me before 😭 but maybe I can defeat him better from now on!

That move is called "Sonic Blade", and it can be used if you equip a special ability of the same name. You get the ability when you defeat Cloud at Olympus Colsseum, the Hercules world.

The worst part of this fight is that completing it gives you the Cure spell, which REALLY would have been useful for this and Trickmaster in Wonderland.
Trickmaster is the easiest boss. Just jump to table bait his sweep, jump attack. For Final phase just parry his fireball. I think first boss the armored whatever is the way harder than next word bosses. Where cure is really helpfull since we haven't have anything yet.
@@arik2216 Guard Armor's easy. Just take out the arms, then the legs and the torso last. Opposite Armor, this, Stealth Sneak and Pot Centipede are the hardest without either levelling considerably or having a very high defense, and they can all one shot you under the right circumstances.
Someone tell me the secret to defeat him... driving me insane. I have died literally 25 times and it's at the point imma just turn the game off and never play it again.
When Clayton says "goodbye!" Move as quickly as possible to avoid getting shot. If the chameleon's the problem, pay attention to its head. If its head lowers, that means it's about to lunge at you. If there's glowy bits by it, it's about to fire some energy at you. You might want to grind a bit depending on your level.
It took me 31 times to beat clayton and finally i did lol i swear clayton is more difficult to beat like that water boy with the guitar from kingdom hearts 2 from hollow bastion lol

When Clayton says "goodbye!" Move as quickly as possible to avoid getting shot. If the chameleon's the problem, pay attention to its head. If its head lowers, that means it's about to lunge at you. If there's glowy bits by it, it's about to fire some energy at you. You might want to grind a bit depending on your level.

It took me 31 times to beat clayton and finally i did lol i swear clayton is more difficult to beat like that water boy with the guitar from kingdom hearts 2 from hollow bastion lol
