Brembo Brake Pads Replacement

Today, we are going to be changing the old brake pads and replacing them for new ones. These brake covers obviously say Acura because they are factory brakes, but in fact they are Brembo disk brakes.

All you had to do was push down on the spring to remove pressure from the pin and pull it... beating it out until it shoots back at you is NOT the best method..

Thanks for taking the time to make this video. Nice to see what we're in for before we start, One correction though I think regarding the arrows on all the parts. Parts should be installed with the arrow pointing in the direction of the rotor rotation. You say that it should point "UP.," and you weren't sure why the previous installation had it "wrong." If the calipers are on the front of the wheel, the arrows should be pointing down.

You suppose to twist the metal clip the hold the brake pads so it will loose the tension , than you bummer the pins out , and nothing will fly out they way it did right them my friend

i believe so, dont know why he did that, but i will use difrent way to conpress piston, pice of thin wood or hard plastic

The funny thing is they’re not. Those are directional shims and must be transferred from old pads to new on most brembo applications. You have to know wht your talking about to be a smart ass lmao
