Thank you Brian. Actually, I just used the same set up to do a few songs at my daughters wedding this past Sunday. About 50 people and it was plenty loud and clear.
Thanks for showing me how you set up. I have been wanting to do this. I just retired and want to do some street singing and playing. I have the same amp as you do. Again thank you so much.
Thank you Gerry! And the batteries will last for Hours! May I suggest to do what I did, get some EBL Rechargeable AA Batteries and you will never have to buy batteries again. I suggest checking on Amazon, and buy the charger as well.
I just downsized from a line array and a separate 10 inch powered speaker. Now I have a cool music 80 watt a battery powered drum machine and a harmonizer that all go into a rolling ice chest .
Thank you for commenting Rob. I am 63 now and it was only a few years ago I was literally Lugging big amps, PA and a whole Lighting set up. Some gigs it took over 2 hours to set up. I like the 5 to 8 minute set up time alot better, And, this stuff is very Light to carry, another plus when getting older. Thanks again. :)
Hi Jerry, I agree! I think it depends on the size / Area/ # of People you are trying to entertain. You may laugh, but Skip and myself have used these amps in Assisted Living/ Senior housing locations because they do not like a Loud Volume.
@@michaelquigley7927I use the Roland street when I go busking in the high street. Never have to turn the volume up more than a quarter. And it's half the price of the bigger one. I do bring a n amp stand so the sound is more at ear level which I think helps. Plus it looks more professional
Good enough setup, keep it light is right. Put a stick-on tuner on the guitar, use a guitar strap, add backing tracks... here's what I do..., I use Band-In A Box for composing, cabbage anything I can from online backing tracks, karaoke, etc., then run them onto a stick then download the stick into a pad music file, patch the pad into your amp or PA, rest the pad on your music stand for quick reference and hit it, you'll get better recognition and coin with a back sound. Boz.
Thank you Boz, Excellent suggestions. Hey if you get a chance, please search 'Quigfest' here on You Tube. All the video's of the band I was in called 'SideTraks' are under that search word. See what you think. All Classic Rock! Thanks again.I will also look for you video's. Mike

Personally i just prefer to learn the words properly so I don't have to worry about music sheets at all, one less stand to carry. I also stand up when I sing so you're more engaging with the audience, therefore more likely to put money in your case. Also, no stool to carry
Thank you Sammy! It is funny how years ago we all wanted the BIG stuff and now it is the opposite, It does make sense though. I do wish they made a similar amp but mainly made for Bass guitar and a Vocal channel. Rock on Brother!!!
Thank you RealPeterGunn, actually Yes. I am in an Acoustic Duo called 3 Shades of Gray, and as a rule, we play Senior Living facilities and Rest Homes on a very regular basis. Usually 3 to 5 gigs a week, and using these battery powered amps we never even use electricity and they can put us anywhere to play. We love it.
So, how big of a room could you do with that? Even the more modern versions work great in small settings. But, other than a small little backyard setting, what could I use them for? Maybe a monitor?
Hi Micheal, I have an Ibanez guitar stool which has a guitar holder incorporated. That would save bringing the separate guitar stand. I have a Roland AC33 amp, it was a toss up between the street cube and that. I'm only going to play acoustic so the AC33 won out. I was at a supermarket lately and a creative Maori gentleman was using a modified coat hanger to hold his mic instead of a stand. More portable but it looked awkward :) A 3/4 size guitar would also help in weight and size. I like your passion for guitar and singing. Nice job. Brent
@@initiallyinterested74 Which means, YOU Failed as well!!! Listen! The video is Not about the Guitar, it is about the SET UP. Some people feel a need to belittle others because they need to feel superior.

Thank you Mac. Just a note. I actually updated to the Boss Street Cube 2 and it is even better. More easy to use Effects, Lighter and even more Wattage.
Yeah, portable and light weight is good. I've now got my eye on the Fishman mini loud box mini 60 watts. It's not battery powered, but i might get an inverter and small battery for it for outdoor use as it just sounds so good and the price is right. Have a nice xmas
Hi Michael, just revisiting this video. I have been using an amp just like that for over 4 years now, and loving it. My back loves it too. Plus, I can be out the door 10 minutes after the gig.
Hi Ahuja, it is simply called the Roland Cube Street. It cost $299.99 American but well worth it. I think the EX version has more power but also costs $499.00 American. This little amp could be loud enough for a Small Bar or Club. I hope this helps. I did do a solo video of myself using just this amp and my acoustic singing a cover of the Bee Gee's hit song called 'I Started a Joke' if you want to hear how it really great it sounds.
