Yeah, IDK but I remeber seeing several interviews a few years ago in which this guy was being overly insulted and reacting to it in a way that the entire thing was hard to tell if it was just for comedic affect and he was in on it or if it just happened to be a bunch of people being shitty to him. Dealing with overt insults might just be part of his interview persona or it's a gag people play on him in interviews that he isn't in on and doesn't like.
@@chrisk6668 I know the one interview with him and Michael Cera (his co-star from Superbad) was a skit. The others I think people were really just awful to him, which is so disappointing. 😕 Jonah is such a talented person and so funny.

If you don’t know the person personally you don’t make a joke at all about that person unless you are okay with any consequences that arise after. Get told horrible things and act as if it didnt happen and continue to follow around, at one point i noticed they knew my behavior quite well and took advantage of it by making me the topic of discussion in large crowds or to avoid uncomfortable silence use me as a joke knowing i wouldnt say shit. Now... i say whatever tf i want without fear because I learned that the only way to get hit is if you respond this way to begin with, they hurt you with words hurt them with even more painful words if they hit you well you know what to do soldier... hope this helped anyone. It's funny that you are using this as an example of how to handle the situation. Jonah showed himself to be very insecure when confronted with what was clearly a joke. Instead of ignoring it and laughing it off, he awkwardly addresses the joke as if it were a genuine comment. He seems not only insecure about his weight, but apparently about being a smelly slob as well. He reminds me of a child that gets teased simply for having such a strong reaction to getting teased. Most people learn as children not to overreact to people teasing you, or they will continue to do it even more. Johah may have autism though, so i shouldn't be too harsh.

I've been teased and bullied my entire life for my weight, and I'll be the first one to make a self deprecating joke about it, but that doesn't mean I don't get offended every once in a while. Did this, and literally had them ask if I was stupid because if I wasn't insulted, I didn't understand them. Some people have no chill. Glad I'm never seeing them again.
Also something else I have noticed. If the person doesn't have good intentions and really just wants to hurt you or get a rise out of you or is just purely in a bad mood and wants to take it out on someone else. Just try being as nice as possible, don't let their insults get under your skin. Say stuff like thank you and ask how their day is going. If you just treat their toxicity with kindness it really throws them off and their not sure what to do and a lot of the time they'll stop trying to be so mean.
