I divinely love how most, if not all, Cardiacs music makes me feel, fear, love, terror, sadness, existentialism and even hope all in a very delicate and most significantly short stretch of time.
I am overwhelmed, overcome and overawed by the beauty and majestic magic of this utter, utter invincible piece of music. I want to be hearing the last section of this as i am die-ing. If there is or is not a God, it shan't matter as i will feel ethereal forever more.
+DirtyBoySingToGod as succinctly put as one could wish. I will be hearing Sing to God when I go...I am late to Cardiacs (for shame) and have listened to nothing else for four months. HOW Tim's work is not lauded more, I do not know. It appears to exist outside the norm that is "music" foisted on us . If EVER the term genius applies it is to Tim.
Tim and the band at their symphonic best here! If this isn't modern "classical" composition, then i don't know what is .... i hate how the word 'genius' is banded about these days ... yet this is one case where that title doesn't seem grand enough
Good work. This is the best piece of music ever written, and I go into my own world whenever I listen to it, so never wanted to see any visuals for it. But this is blurred, chaotic and indistinct enough to just be absorbing and not distracting and it really complements the track.
How did I get to be this old, and real into this type of music, and only now find out about these guys? Spec-freeking-tacular. Magic. Sleepytime Gorilla Museum has nothing on these guys.
+Bob Gordon I too am old but new to being arrested by Cardiacs. How did I miss them first time around? I have listened to nothing else for 4 months now.
i've gone through life not knowing of the Cardiacs until this weekend. It's like theyre from a parallel universe. Surely we can't have been living in the same dimension.
@Monkeyhead75 Sorry, tried to put a link in, but it wouldn't let me. Dominic Luckman is arranging a benefit Cardiacs Night at the Bull and Gate in Kentish Town on the 14th Jan. Tickets are £12 a pop and will be an evening of Cardiacs toons played at 'battle volume'. It'll be as near to getting into the pond as you'd want. Do a google search for the club fandango .co .uk 14 jan For The Benefit Of Mr Smith + An Evening Of Cardiacs Audio Recordings .....
@Monkeyhead75 no probs matey, may just see you there... check out Facebook's Tim Smith - National Treasure. Add yourself onto that now and you'll be the 200th person!
the cardiacs are almost too good..saw them in clwb in cardiff a few years back and it was as close to a religious experience as i'll ever want. didnt know they went this far back. makes me want to give up music when tunes this good are about.. and dont get me started with RES!!
yeah last thing i heard Tim Smith, the brain behind the band and singer was recovering from a cardiac arrest (how weird is that?). So a new album and tours have been postponed indefinitely. And it is highly unlikely that they will be performing for a long time, as Tim effectively died, and sustained a brain damage, thus he can neither sing nor play the guitar right now.
Brimming with life, so beautiful. Thinking of Tim x

DirtyBoySingToGod I feel the exact same way about this. Makes me cry and rejoice at the same time❤

The amount of creativity that goes into making one Cardiacs song is insane.
RIP Tim Smith! What a powerful tune!
This real Cardiacs gem is totally out of this world!!
One of the finest songs Ive ever listened to. Extreme Genius.
MAGNIFICENT, splendid, spectacular, impressive, striking, glorious, superb, majestic, awesome, awe-inspiring, breathtaking
Oh crikey, the ending.... i never want it to end. I could listen to that forever. Fadeless Splendour indeed !
Not seen this before - wonderful! Thanks for posting. Such an amazing, triumphant, majestic song.
That's it. You found the right adjectives for song: triumphant and majestic
Everything that makes me love Cardiacs all wrapped up into one song.
Utterly brilliant, a modern classic... and a fitting opus for such a unique set of talented folks
The greatest band in the world.....ever!
No, just one of the best! :p Example: ua-cam.com/video/FgKD895NWrw/v-deo.html
Just excellent. Surely one of the best pieces of music ever written.
Pure magic, Brilliant..
Oh my god. Every time I'm exposed to Cardiacs something new and amazing happens...

So beautiful and haunting.

Thank you for the beautiful video Gehenna!
Well, that made my year, definitely!
I think my favourite bit of this is the teeny gap at 6.50 followed by the thunderous final return.
tostare Thunderous returns are something that Mr Smith excels at,when I hear the end of Big Ship I want to pop.
the very greatest
After 4m 48s this is magistral .
Magic :)
"For God so loved the Ear-th, he sent down his one and only song."
❤❤❤
This is heaven
i've gone through life not knowing of the Cardiacs until this weekend. It's like theyre from a parallel universe. Surely we can't have been living in the same dimension.

This song makes me want to jump on a huge bed made of fish and wheels.
puta que pariu. tudo é tão foda nesse vídeo e nessa música que mal posso expressar quanto.
This band is the equivalent to a powerful dose of LSD. Nothing's the same once your cherries popped
