Appreciate Your help with this project, just replaced the buttons only (takes a 8mm socket and Phillips screwdriver) using the flatblade screwdriver to pry the ribbon connection.
If I remember correctly, the original product that I used was cheap and it was also junk. Went to the Ford unit which is higher quality. You get what you pay for.
