I love this show so much! As a lifelong Trekkie, it completely had me in tears of laughter or joy every episode, especially with all the in-jokes and references. It's hilarious fan-service which knows EXACTLY the kind of indulgent stuff we want, like having THAT music playing while a certain Captain flies in to the rescue.

You know what, I was super excited about this show. The idea of seeing what goes on below the decks sounded great fun. But... the lower decks spend almost all their time with the main deck, or solving the main issues. It would have been more fun if they never saw the main action. That aside it’s a fun show, they should just have done what the title says.

Yeah I agree. I enjoyed the show a lot, but I thought it was going to be somewhat more "out of the main action", whereas the characters are frequently involved in the A plot.

I watched ALL of trek now in my 30 Years of Existence.
I didn't dislike Picard. I quite Liked Disco season 2.
But this yea.
I really like this Show it is fun and full of great References. Can't wait for Season 2.

That’s because it bears absolutely no relation to anything Trek.
The writing is lazy, the ‘jokes’ obvious and unfunny plus I don’t think the people that made this have actually watched an entire episode of any Star Trek series.
