I must get my comment pinned. Captain's orders!
i hope this weird roleplay thing is filling the void in your actual life.
Did Shoulder Cowboy set you up for this?
I thought you were an admiral?
So what's the Janeway Protocol?
Are pinned comments before or after coffee?
The Paklads calling any Starship they see the Enterprise and any woman captain, Janeway is the best thing ever! 😂
Also they predicted the future as well
Truly Captain Janeway will never recover from this defeat
She and her ship the Enterprise now look like fools!
How embarrassing
ADMIRAL Janeway-
Who is Janeway
And what happened to becard
"Is he still a Salamander?"
Holy shit, was not expecting that one.
To be fair, Boimler did meet a Salamander on the freak ship.
So apparently someone did not get the cure memo. Or got it too late.
@@christopherg2347 Hi, Anthony. Did it used to be a man?
If that was real Janeway, all those pakleds would have been be dead.
*A few episodes later...*
_All those pakleds are dead_
Perhaps, one shouldn't utter that name unless they're prepared for consequences
Janeway blew up the Pakled planet!
by accident, they were just trying to sell her a coffee maker and she tried to get an espresso
She killed Rumdar!
Plot twist, the Pakleds were trying to frame Captain Janeway, but they provided the forger an image of Freeman instead
The Janeway protocol= Consume, copious amounts of coffee, black coffee…. And if there is none left coming out of the replicators, you will always find it in the nearby nebulae….. after all, there’s always coffee in that nebula😂😂😂
I hope they get Kate Mulgrew to make an appearance on Lower Decks and turn her up to 11.
I think it's been said that due to Janeaway being used on Prodigy, she's currently off limits to appear in other shows. She was planned to appear in Picard season 3 but had to be dropped because of that rule.
@@BeeTeeGeestrange, I wonder why she can only be on one show at a time
Prodigy must REALLY need her I guess
@@oberonpanopticon Well Kate is a main cast member on Prodigy, it is most likely it is to avoid brand confliction. As Janeaway is a key character to Prodigy it is the responsibility of the Prodigy production staff to over see Janeaway's character and where it takes her. And her planned appearance on Picard might conflict with any plans the Prodigy show runners might have for Janeaway in the future.
An example would be the fate of the USS Defiant. We all know that the Defiant had a small cameo appearance in First Contact but it was originally intended for the ship to be destroyed in the battle with the Borg. The DS9 showrunner vetoed this because the Defiant was their ship and it wasn't the call of those making the movie to destroy their ship. That's why they threw in the line with Picard telling Worf that the Defiant was "adrift but salvagable."
So let's say that if at the end of Prodigy's run the show runners decide to have Janeaway sacrifice herself for the crew, leading to her death. It wouldn't be fair to the Prodigy staff to be restricted to the outcome of Janeaway's character if she appeared in Picard season 3 (which is set nearly 2 decades after the start of Prodigy) because she has a small cameo role in a series where she isn't one of the main characters.
It could also come down to rights issues too. With Janeaway on Prodigy, if other Trek productions want to use her they might need to ask permission from the Prodigy showrunners and they would get final say because any proposed ideas could conflict with their plans. This actually isn't uncommon at all. When James Cameron was developing his Spider-Man movie (which ultimately went unproduced) he had intended on using the villains Electro and Sandman in the movie. Because of this, both Electro and Sandman were excluded from appearing in the 90's Spider-Man: The Animated Series cartoon.
With Lower Decks, the timeline for that series began in 2380 and if we go by the standard of 1 season equals 1 year in the Trek canon that brings the end of Lower Decks season 3 to around 2382. Prodigy begins in the year 2383. Lower Decks best chance of using Janeaway would have been in the first three seasons so as to not conflict with what Prodigy plans to do with her. There is the possibility she could still turn up, I'd say the chances are slimmer now.
You forgot the time they found out Janeway straight up murdered Tuvix.
this was made 2 years ago dude
Captain Freeman probably played through Gowron's holodeck adventure from "Star Trek: Klingon" considering she pulled a trick on the Packleds similar to Gowron's.
Ha! Now I have to go watch that again!
IS HE STILL A SALAMANDER!
I haven't watched this show before as it didn't look great, but watching this now with an open mind, it seems like I've been missing out.
Its a comedy and going into that you should expect nostalgia bait, However its quite good with some very good Trek episodes!
I never watched any ST before watching LD (was SW-only b4), so without knowing any references the episodes tell complete and fun stories. And then finding out the references later just adds to the rewatchability.
I think it‘s better than Discovery, Picard, Enterprise, J.J. Abrams and even DS9.
the first season can be a little rocky but it gets better going forwards
"All the way down to Kim" 😂😂😂😂
"Janeway didnt mess around..."
This show is off the wall in all the right ways, LOVE IT!
That 105% casualties is kind of dark. Plausibly indicates at least one pregnancy on board!
Sense it was temporal shenanigans there was probably some collateral.
Perhaps it's just as well that the whole plan to make the Ferengi the new adversary race of Star Trek fell through. At this rate, they would be an even bigger galactic laughingstock than the Pakleds.
So many references and I can't keep up with it. I love it.
Pakleds are absolutely right in fighting captain Janeway
No such thing as too much JANEWAY ❤
1:38 DOWN to Kim? Poor Kim.
the Payloads sure know how to... fool the unterprise lol
Shoulder Cowboy would be proud.
You should eat Harry
Mm maybe the writers will surprise us...and reference a Captain or other officer that only appeared as an obscure crew member and was never heard of again.
The janeway protocol is to do the opposite of what’s best for the crew.
God, they recall the worst episode of Voyager. Threshold was a steamy shit.
NOOOOOOOOOOOO what about Paris breaking warp 10? I thought that was p cool
@@woahjen1513 And then he mutated and spat out his own tongue. Before turning into a salamander.
Warp 10? No thanks. 🙄
@@NuclearFridge1 And had sex with Janeway.
2:54 Were the Pakleds yelling "Janeway Dumb"?
Im no expert on Starship command but when you are in command It is useful to say something, anything more than "uhhhhhhhhhh"
Ransom!
Pakled scientists are the best on planet pakled
I love how he asks. How did I kill more than the whole crew? And I have to agree he killed 105% of the crew. Where does the extra 5% come from?
Civilian casualties, technically the cali class is a support vessel that normally needs tons of civilian personnel to assist in many day to day operations
Probably the nature of the anomaly killed the additional 5%.
Maintain.....course?
Boom! 💥
Ok I have no problem with them bringing back Tom Paris (or someone from Nova Squad *ahem*) as long as they got RDM back to play him
This video will need updated.
An entire planet of morons. I would not expect that from Star Trek.😅
Does he call the 1701 'Toss'? How does he pronounce the 'D'?
There is an episode where Ransom refers to them as T-O-S or Those Old Scientists.
FUNNY STUFF
Rumdarr is smartiest Pakled! So smart, me no no wut 2 say, even!
CODE BLACKPINK BRETES
How the hell did a species as stupid as the Pachlids ever develop space travel?
Maybe a species stranded on their planet and they took the ship parts and added them to their own ship parts. xD
does this show have a plot? or is it just Star Trek Rick and Morty with nostalgia references
It has more if a plot then your life
I don't think there's an overarching plot, (unless you wanna count the Pakleds getting more and more threatening). There is very good character development though.
And honestly, this show is much, much better overall than Rick and Morty after season 3.
There is an overall plot that continues throughout the series but a bunch of episodic adventures too.
Each season gets a plot
Don't get me wrong but for me the Pakleds always were just annoying.
Not funny…at all.
The first step is admitting your own flaws, you're doing well. :)
@@Jokie155 You're a witty person. At least, half-witty. A halfwit, one might say. 🙂
Get job. And a hobby.
Don't worry, keep trying, and you might just say something intelligent
@@DiscoDragonFTWSorry did you say something? All I hear from you is an annoying high-pitched whine...
