Great Video! I started mining with around the same budget and set up a small rig with a couple of RX 570 4gb cards mining ETC and was making a profit of around 3.50 a day. I definitely wouldn't recommend for beginners though.
Yea i ended up getting 5 rx 570s 😂😂😂 3 of those are 4 gb and were on ergo originally but have touched on a bunch of coins for the few months ive had them 😂😂 added 2 6600xts and recently a 1660super … im hooked now smh 🤦🏼♂️
I´d personally like to adress the 14 days until Payout. I think this way it is a really bad Idea for someone who has higher electric cost and such. Also ETH fees are still unusually high. So my proposal would be to not go for etherminer, but 2miners getting paid in BTC instead. That way you get payouts ever 2-3 days if you go to a BTC core wallet and are way more flexible with cashing out. I´ve had a my rig at 400MHs and it took about two weeks to get my payouts. So my first one I had to cash in to pay for electric and the price was for that timeframe shit. Then the price jumped way up and I was just looking at my payout. After 9 days it was at about 400$ then and I didn´t reach the payout yet. From there the next 5 days until my payout I always read 400$ every day, because the price was falling this quickly. As a smaller miner who is also trying to build up you need to be more fluent with your cashflow, hence getting paid in smaller sums and BTC instead will be way more consistent then keeping it in ETH.
I started in march with my 2060s for fun. Profitability was 4$/day which was great. I mined nice amount of ETH but placed good part in BTC. Now i wait BTC/ETH to jump so i can buy PS5 and give my brother everything else. Nice short road(less than a year) and nice reward for having fun.

First time commenter here, been watching for awhile now. So I've been mining for a little while now (about 6 months) and I started off with Unmineable and used their pool, doing mostly Litecoin. I have a 4 GPU rig (2 580 8G, a 570 8G, and a 480 8G) and with that rig and that pool on that coin I get paid daily so I'm wondering, why don't more people use that coin and that pool? Seems dumb to wait a week or more for one payout, can anyone tell me why more people don't use Litecoin and Unmineable?
@@dbhieu339 Actually with my rig as it is (4 GPUs getting about 118-120 MH) I get paid daily using the Unmineable pool. It's the only one that I know of that has such a low payout threshold, which is why I'm wondering why more don't use it.

I don’t recommend anyone buy gpus right now. Roi is 12-18 months on most cards and ETH simply won’t be around that long, not even close to it. 12 month Roi on gpus is the absolute maximum I would do and we haven’t had that in months. Gpu prices have a looooong way to fall imo and the market will be flooded soon. Very soon.
anything is better than nothing.... and you can always be paid out in others like BTC. I paid way over the top retail prices for all of my cards because of where I live and yes my ROI is ridiculous but it's still banking coin so there is worse things to invest in
Your still picking Gpus up getting this close to etherium POS? Are you just hoping another coin takes it’s place? Will you be aiming for that main coin if so or will you be exchanging it to etherium/Bitcoin
They are already moving the POS (shockingly) so why not keep building they have been announcing POS for a couple years now. I think part of it is just to pressure people.
I tried mining on my game PC, but then you can't play games while running the miner. So I used my old PC as a miner, GTX970 running maybe 6 hours a day, I think the most I've seen from it was 3 Mh, so not worth it. I'm glad I tried it, but I'll stop once I reach threshold.
which is why I currently run 3 PC's with a total of 8x 1660 Ti. It's hard to buy anything else when their consumption increases so drastically which would also mean heat too as I live in a tropical or hot climate.
no other gpu better than 1660 ti or super ....better to have more 1660ti or super then 1 big gpu ,in case it break you stop your revevue, with multiple 1660 is not the case
It is best to buy coins and hodl at this point; it is cheap at the moment. It is not a good time to invest in hardware for mining. The ROI is not good presently. All the video cards are outrageously overpriced given that they have been out over a couple of years. With an average price of electricity at 10 cents, it will take you more than a year just to break even on any video card at the moment. Anything over a year is not good.
it's gonna take a few years, maybe even a decade to expand your profitability to be able to call it a passive income, keeping mind, nothing breaks and market is frozen
$1.13 a day?! Uh I can work an extra hour at work and make 70x that. Scratch that I can take a dump after I’m done working before I clock out and make more than that. How is this profitable after jacking your electric bill up?
1.08 a day is not even bad with profit, but again that times 365 he can make 394.2$ a year which is good and lets you buy more gpus to increase your gains
Biggest effect on profitability is power cost, stuck in the UK I'm expanding from 8 GPU's slowly. Sadly with power costs even with the most efficient GPU's I can purchase in my price range are only seeing 40$ profit and that will drop to 30% come the energy price cap rise April 1st. 264 MH/s ETH/3.32GH/s TONCOIN/40Sols Flux @ 1.015 KW. Got a 2060 Super on the way for my ninth but even with that we are talking £5 profit at best now and will drop another £1-1.50 in a few weeks. Really sad times here in the UK for small home miners. Can't even invest in an Bitcoin ASIC with the power cost, they just don't make any profit. Since I believe in the blockchain and POW I'll mine even if it's breakeven but can't HODL as have to sell to cover power now it's so high. 0.38 cents KW/h end of the month. As I said sad times but keep on mining!
I've got 169mh on ETH at the moment, Im thankfully locked in at 0.18 till next year so will plod on for a bit longer, just starting to sell off my gtx 1070s to replace with rx 6600s and rx 5500 xt's.
