As a kid, I thought the screaming came from the zergling being burned alive. It was only until recently I realized it was the marine. That's so brutal.
wait, what?! i still dont know that, shit i gota go back and watch it more carefully. watched this dozens of times played since 98 and i still never caught that wtfff
Brutal
And here I was thinking he had put the visor down. You got me fucked up, man
Son, if you ever see me being killed by a zerg, and you don't flame us both... I will be very disappointed in you.
587 people did not get their air support

“Take us into orbit Mr. Malmsteen. We’ve seen enough.”
691 as of now xd You really can see it is hard to dislike such a tribute to a masterpiece like this.
I see the people who made it have really put a lot of effort in it. Obviously, it's not ideal, but I'd really love to see a StarCraft movie someday.
Me too
I agree completely blizzard should not go down the doom path.for it is a path of failure and dwayne jhonson shame..poor id they sold there soul for profit how sad..doom and wolfenstin 3d was the father of all f.p.s...
this is probably the best fan tribute ever made to the starcraft series, let alone anything to what blizzard has done. Why isn't this more popular, this should be a headline.
Am I only who thinks that Marine's Armour in First Starcraft was a lot better?
We agree.
There are things I like and dislike about both versions.
I like the armor in 2 better, but I think their gauss rifles in 1 were better. Grenade launchers ftw!
sooooo much
jdizzy01 Well, INGAME there has never been any grenade launchers, only cool stuff for the cinematic.
Where is the air support !!!!
-points up...
My fave part !!!!
The acting on the bridge was awesome. Very faithful to the original scene.
My only complaint is that the guy playing Gerard was too short. Gerard was physically imposing as well as verbally.
1:20 I laughed my ass off when he asked who's in charge here. I dunno I just got the feeling that the black guy was thinking: "Great another fucking idiot."
😂😂😂
Finally, someone who knows what they're doing.
*Why does this video even have dislikes? I dont understand, this is awesome!*
+rasput1n6 Well, we're like any other artists, we look at this and just see the flaws whether people point them out or not; but thanks.
+Apsis Motion Pictures Not to be mean.... okay I am going to be merciless here lets see the 146 people who disliked this film make something better. I dare them to craft something better than your film.
+Ryan Reyes the only reason i see is not understanding where this cinematic comes from, and thinking that the movements are so "squared" when its really a magnific recreation of the original sc1 cinematic
***** Actually, originally Brood war was going to have an upgrade for the marines to have rockets, and the intro was something of an introduction of that concept. It got cut from the expansion but, apparently, they didn't have the time or inclination to alter the cinematic to reflect the cut; even though you don't see the rockets fired, it's very strongly implied that the smoking barrel on the black marine was the source. We made a choice to make the weapon a canister gun because that tech made more sense retrospectively.
Yeah its not common knowlegde outside SC fans
I think they should've lessened the lighting way more, relying on high contrast and backlighting rather direct lighting. It would've helped hide the CGI and lack of detailing they put in the environment, and stay more true to the original cinematic. The marines should've raised their voices a bit more too, like they're actually trying yell over the sounds of war. That said they should've made the background combat sound effect louder too. The actor they got to play Stukov performed well, but Dugalle should've been played by an older actor with a deeper voice.
+Медвед DuGalle should have also been slimmer!
Yeah, that too. Between the two of them DuGalle is the taller, lankier one.
+Медвед Totally agree that the Stukov actor was good. I think the marines costumes should have been aligned or adjusted properly before each of the cameras side shots, so they look more proportional. That scene with the marine staring at the battlecruiser with his helmet on slanted was pretty awkward.
+Медвед Absolutely spot on, including the marine yelling.
As unfair as it may sound, this should have gotten at least a million views already by now! This piece is absolutely brilliant! And we can all agree with the fact that it's got the potential to be what a great live action StarCraft would look like if there ever will be one in the future. Please make it happen already!
This is like if the BW intro was done in the Command and Conquer style. And that's a complement. :D
A very good effort. Excellent costume designs. Thanks for making and sharing. Keep it up :)
Very impressive: with the props, suits, effects, acting! Nice!
It's Terran theme music from Brood War game.
This looks amazing! This is my favourite Brood War cinematic and you've brought it to life!
Tears are falling through my face right now. THANK YOU VERY MUCH! +Apis Motion Pictures
it's so cheesy but it's so cool at the same time, you guys should make a full StarCraft live action movie since Blizzard won't do it..
Need da monies
tyr rollins If this would be something you would consider anyway Kickstarter is a thing.
UnnamedThe That would be borderline illegal.
The game itself was kind of toung and cheek.but that's what gave it charm and attitude different from most traditional r.t.s. Titles...
Very well done. Cannot ask for anything better. I'm just blown away by the whole suits, of the marines. Great work.
Why did it take me almost 3 years to find this? FANTASTIC!
Nice video. But there are some things I liked better in the original cinematic.
The lights. Its not dark for no reason.
The black marine's music he listened, and he had cristmas lights on him.
The Aliens stile of bullet counter.
+Bálint Kristóf spoken truth bruh
Not to mention when the soldier screams at the original "Who's in charge here???", yet on this video he's very calm and seems to be asking while watching his voice tune 1:17 such a simple acting and he couldn't do it right...
I think it was cool. I would like to see more content of this sort in general.
Such an amazing recreation, I love thi sso much!
That was really awesome, so nostalgic... Great job guys!
wow that was great!! why isn't this getting more exposure?? Super cool
I've always liked the original animated video of this and thought: Perfection! There is no way to improve on this, I thought. You guys proved me wrong! This redo is simply EPIC! Keep up the awesome work!
Such awesome remake for the brood war cutscene
OMG!! flashbacks... amazing, line by line!! Great job you guys!
Let me get one thing clear. The effort in the video is great. The Battlecruiser looked wonderful, the Zerg looked good, the conversation between Alexei and Gerard was believable, but I can't help but feel it was very clunky.
The Battle scenes were stiff, and showed little emotion. In the original cinematic, that first marine we saw had a look beyond fear. When he was jumped by that Hydralisk, he was screaming for his life as he was getting gutted. And still screaming when he was being burned alive. The guy in the video... you could tell he was acting. I know there's a slit you can do in a computer cinematic which is difficult to represent in actual film, but I don't get the feeling he was even trying. In fact all the Marines in the battle seemed rather dead to me, rather than the battle-worn, frustrated they're losing, soldiers that were originally depicted. They're shouting over a deafening battle. Here, I barely get the feeling there's a battle going on at all. I understand that budgets are everything, and you probably didn't have enough to recreate the beaches or Normandy or whatnot, but a little more sound effects could have been used if you ask me.
All in all, it's a decent video, but I don't think it captures the energy and emotion of the original cinematic. I hope this isn't taken as hate, just a little constructive criticism.
Actually Imo I imagine that's what Blizzard was going for, but the end result, the one I remember, was a lot closer to this result. Clunky, slow.
It's a fan tribute, not a million dollar project, gotta keep your expectations realistic lol
Damn everyone is calling him ungrateful for actually giving sound opinions
yeah an look beyond fear, like surviving an zerg rush.
It's brought back my childhood memories. Thank you.
Yknow for being completely fan done this is pretty impressive
Great job guys! I was looking forward to seeing this!
How come I just stumble across this, it's really cool, specially for a SC fan who played this since college when it first came out!!
You guys did a great job on this.
Awesome shot for shot remake. Obviously tons of work poured into this.
It's nice seeing an update on one of the greatest game intros of all time!
Shame they couldn't get those Christmas lights into the trench.
I actually meant to grab them, but it the chaos and exhaustion of it all, they were forgotten.
Amazing work. Thank you. I really enjoyed this.
One word AWESOME
Awsome piece of work guys!
Behind the scenes !!! :D !!!
excellent job, just amazing!
0:52 I like the grenade tube sound there, with a bit of silence before the boom.
2:04 I like that little touch there, where Alexei takes the time for a good puff before finishing his sentence.
Everything was good but you forgot one thing: the war ambience. It was too quiet.
This is amazing!! I want more. all the cinematics in SC original and SC:BW. please more more more more
Great job, always love this aria
How have i never heard of this...? Really quite incredible guys, very faithful & still moving after all these years. Some minor tweaks I could see happening, but pobody's nerfect as they say. ; )
Great stuff
The DSS Aleksander Battle Cruiser and its interior are splendid. Looks good on Stukov
5 years, and this still amazing!!
Holy shit that gave me chills. It was a shot for shot remake. Exactly the way I remember it. God I miss the 90's.
Wow this is awesome. Good job man
It's GREAT to see that people actually CAN create live action StarCraft movies WITH good effects as well with "REAL" Marine armor. Way to go, bros! Good job!!

Amazing job!

This is awesome!
Now thanks to you i finaly know what they were saying, because i couldn't understand them in the original video :D
This is actually really good! Especially considering you didn't have a huge budget. A lot of the actors actually pull off their roles surprisingly well!
How the hell I never saw that before, this.... is actually pretty well done. good job.
impressive what fans can do... amazing job, congratulations!
Amazing work! Well done!
I like this a lot. You can say it's janky and odd in the acting and look, but then again - that's pretty much what the trailer was like, so I feel like it was recaptured well.
Wow, awesome work!!!
freakin nailed it. great job!
Oh!Thx very much you clerified it for me :D I was confused for so long about this..
Guys ... this was just awesome ... and i was wondering back in the 90's "how would it look like if "CnC life action style movies" would be in Starcraft" :-D ... ummm and mainly Kerrigan ;-) (back in the days .. i was 13 when SC came out :-D)
terrific movie!! it remind me of my old memory..
This is jaw dropping. Bravo
This song of opera, is so excited, with the batlecrusier, in the air
bring back memories, gj!
Man, now I really wanna do some acting. Star Craft scenes like this would be super fun.
Awesome !!! really , its a beast fan made i ever seen!
Man, this took me back...
Amazing!! I like it so much!!! You captured all the essence of the original and maybe did it better!!
Awesome! Love it!!
Legend says those two marines survived under Slayer Boxer's command
Im replaying the game right now......what a fantastic remake on the original intro....such a shame another one isn't gonna be done i would have loved to have seen your version of Kerrigan
Me too.
That was amazing!! Bravo!!!
If this had more money to support it, you could make an oscar worthy movie out of it.
Excellent video! Well done guys.
Amazing!!!!!
This is excellent, and very close to perfect (you forgot the christmas lights on the older marine's shoulder!!)
Please make the Battle of the Amerigo!!
Amazing
Starcraft Broodwar was awesome. Thanks for making this.
