Посмотрев ремонт, по началу не понял, для чего они частично разбирали мотор. Потом меня осенило, они разбирали для того чтобы занесли образив в виде песка в двигатель, и показали нам, как можно производить ремонт, без динамометрического ключа, и регулировкой клапанов на глаз. ))))
Образив в полости как бы похеру, если стоит фильтрация, у меня в поддонах килограмы Образива в виде щебня и грязи ездят периодически, никаких проблем. Динамик хорошо, но с набитой рукой все делается тоже, тем более на промышленных моторах, где болты не по полдюйма
@@rheidtech A torque wrench is necessary for setting the injector travel on those engines. The procedure is to tighten the adjustment to 5 inch pounds when the plunger is bottomed out in the injector cup.

Indeed it is Cummins NH220 small cam engine earlier version for Komatsu Japanese machines. And no doubt in Pakistan engineer is a man who could run a broken ball bearing nor needed a new one…😊

Here, you do what you can I guess..these guys are 'shade tree mechanics'. No clean engine building room with these guys LOL, Still, this'll keep things going for just a little bit longer be I imagine. I don't class this as a durable repair.

Total junk now wont last any amount of time . Dirty not torqued proper probably broke rings instaling piston. As a licenced mechanic i would never let them touch anything of mine
The occupational safety and environmental consideration is wonderful. The dirt and sand getting in to the block and water jacket is no great concern. Torquing the heads down is really overrated not to mention rebuilding everything on the dirt. That engine should last a good 100 miles or so.....great job....I'm sure the re-builders also took a nice shower afterwards too.
This is a 3rd world country. Safety? The Environment? hahahhaha. It's obvious a double ended breaker bar is a luxury...a ratchet head even is nowhere to be seen...so i wouldn't expect them to pull out a torque wrench any time soon. These poor f*ckers work their as*ses off with what they have and they do it for peanuts, probably 10-20 USD per day...they do it because they have to, to support their families.
What a pointless exercise...replacing worn rings without de glazing the bores and then for good measure when reassembling the big end bearings just wipe some dirty/sandy oil off the crank with your finger and coat the bearing with it...crazy...

@@OggyXXXL видимо в Пакистане разный подход к ремонту. Где-то моют, тряпочками трут, а тут так, на песочке, да на на глаз.
They use the traditional old school method for torquing the bolts...you keep tighten it until you have two grunts and a groan..😂😂

it's not important. they use always gasket seal...with new or old gaskets. maybe they don't know what a seal is for?

Holy shit. They bang on all the screws like idiots, with no torque, no tightening sequence. The main thing they're really tight
