Um, all the stress is at right-angles to the mild steel plate they bent around the top or bottom. That is exactly the most useless area to reinforce.

Бро я раньше тоже так думал. Но с последними тенденциями похоже придется возвращаться к таким технологиям. В этом нет ничего зазорного, в Союзе так технику вполне себе ремонтировали. Да, сам процесс нужно регламентировать (ну или понимать старые регламенты) на такого рода операции. Главное вспомнить как делать что бы было не "не на долго" а на постоянку)
