Headcanon: The real reason why the Minutemen questline broke is because Preston Garvey decided someone crazy enough to try to beat the game with only a paddle ball wasn't someone they should recruit. As a result, Paddle Ball Guy destroyed the other three factions, resulting in the Minutemen winning by default.

When you hinted at choosing the railroad i was elated since i just imagine the institute seeing the insane person running in a rusty suit covered in netting using a paddleball on fire and saying "you know what, that guy is definitely not a spy". Honestly though, the ending you created is so much more fitting now the remnants of all factions (minus the mintemen who you somehow placed into a time paradox) can hunt this metal menagerie of string fueled destruction

@@jakehamilton4053 I did a pure unarmed build of fallout new vegas 3 and 4 in that order. without power armor in 4.
I got stupid lucky with legendary effects and ended the run with 4 pieces with the legendary effect that gave strength and endurance and the chest piece that gave strength for radiation and I did a lot of drugs and ended up with 34 strength.
@@DefinitelyFroggyDioBrando I'm actually in the middle of watching another YTer play Fallout 4 with no weapons or armour and it took him about 3 hours to kill Colter with his crit fists. He did it in survival too.

@@DefinitelyFroggyDioBrando Luck 6 and he didn't get the better crits perk beforehand, despite wanting to. He had very low luck at the beginning and had been increasing his luck before he went off to Nuka World.
You can lock pick your way back into the outdoor part of the gauntlet if you want to skip the majority of it with the tiny gap between the door. It’s what I do now, and it un-borks the fight as you go through the correct door to trigger him
I know this one doesn't sound particularly interesting but I feel like this weapon needs to be talked about more for how unique it is.

If you wanted to add some more spice you could do "Can you beat Skryim with only the beam attack from the Bloodskal Blade?"

Technically the Thirst Zapper if un-modded does no damage. Plus here's another thing to consider it's something that is mandatory to progress the story of Nuka-World just like shooting the Radroach with the BB gun at the start of Fallout 3 is, so I'd say you didn't fail the run.
but killing the rad roach is part of the main game and you have to do it. going to nuka world is completely optional.

I am not certain about this, but I think the reason the Fire Ball upgrade did so much damage was because of a glitch where it has a dismembeing tag or something causing it to do extra damage. That's why the courser and enemies wearing power armor were so difficult to kill, as they are immune to dismemberment.

Well kinda makes sense how much pain the paddle ball would be considering that Jabo did a run of Fallout 4 with a random weapon mod on every kill that specifically excluded it
The sheer persistence shown throughout this run earns a like on this video.

Hey Nerbit. Have you considered making TTW runs? TTW is a mod for fallout new vegas which makes it possible to play through fallout 3 and fnv as the same character and build. Imagine playing through both fallout 3 and fnv using mesmetron or dart gun or whatever silly comes to your mind.

Can you beat fallout new vegas as nerbit? Special stats as close to what you estimate yourself having. Weapons limited to only what you have experience using in real life. Ending of your choice. I think it could be quite interesting to see the results of this run.

The only weapons I've used in real life are switchblades, kitchen knives and a bow & arrow.
Can you beat Fallout New Vegas as Raiden? Katana focus, all cybernetic implants, Rex as a companion, hot blooded and whatever else you see fit.
the baldurs gate 3 intro is so valid... been addicted since it came out
loved the video! i had a lot of fun with this run because few things in the fallout series are as silly as destroying the most deadly enemies with a paddle ball toy. i ended up using a mod that let me craft paddle ball string since it felt more legitimate than using unlimited ammo mods / glitches, but the paddle ball burns through string so quick it got costly.
Okay, but more importantly, can you beat real life with a paddle ball?

I really like your videos, the approach you take at these challenges makes them very fun, so I have a suggestion for a New Vegas video:
"Can you beat Fallout New Vegas as Cook-Cook?"
- Become a "superfan" of as many chems as possible and don't cure the addiction throughout the run
- Stick to flamethrower weapons
- Your primary source of healing should be freshly cooked food (pre-war food and meds aren't as dope)
Or if you're anxious that youtube won't like that kind of a video, you can do just one of these. I haven't seen you do either "chem superfan", or "flamethrower only" or "freshly cooked food only" challenges, which all sound pretty cool. But if you want to roleplay accordingly to the idea of the challenge there already is a character in the game who has these three traits.
Here are some roleplay challenges that I came up with. All of the below are optional:
- Keep Queenie alive at all costs
- Achieve "Very Evil" karma
- Obtain "Cook-Cook's Fiend stew" recipe and cook it
- Help Diane and Jack at the Red Rock drug lab
- Visit the Matthews Animal Husbandry Farm and cook all the bighorners and brahmins from there
- Visit the closed room in Bison Steve Hotel with 2 skeletons and chems scattered across the room (which is supposedly a very vague reference to Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas)
- Obtain the recipe for "Brahmin Wellington" from the underground kitchen in Ultra-Luxe and cook it
- Take all the food from the Gourmand in Ultra-Luxe
- Obtain the recipe for "Rose's wasteland omlette" from Jas Wilkins at Sloan and cook it
- Obtain Yao Guai meat and eat it
- Challenge a fire ant to a fair fight and if you are victorious cook it into a "fire ant fricassée" and eat it.
Just want to say that I love your content and it got me into challenge running myself. I'm attempting Fallout 4 with only Impact Landing, and I have a new found respect for the struggle early on in challenge runs like this one
Thank you for the upload Nerbit! Do you think a New Vegas as Sherlock Holmes run would be possible ? Dress Cane for "Baritsu" Revolvers,High Intelligence and Speech, and Arcade with you as "Doctor' Watson. Solve Mystery based quests and take down Benny Moriarty.
Apparently, there's actually a really easy way to beat Colter, without even needing the squirt gun. I forget where I saw it, but you just need the "pain train" power armor thing to ragdoll him, and follow that up by quickly pickpocketing an explosive into his inventory. It bypasses his DR, and instantly wins the fight.
Watching these videos has gotten me wanting to do my own weapon restricted runs, so i tried new vegas with just the bb gun and holy moly it was a pain and it really put into perspective for me how much time and effort it takes you to make these videos, making me appreciate them even more

There's a Mod called Melee Tools where you can use various tools and household items as weapons. I prefer the Broom myself. I have a short video on my channel of me using it to fight a deathclaw, and well it went as well as you'd expect. However I really love to see your take on trying to beat F4 a Broom!

You can also duplicate items with the conveyor. While in workshop mode store the item at the same time it goes into the conveyor. If done right there should he one in the inventory and one in the conveyor. Works on the your special book to boost all your initial stats.

Only Melee weapons,pistols,unarmed weapons ,frying pan,throwables and turrets can be used.Conflics can only be resolved in violence.Headwear is banned and healing /or chems use can't be done,if chem has a needle.
