I'm guessing from how much Baron struggled with later parts, he doesn't know that those really strong Fortify Restoration potions he could make will increase the damage of Poison Rune? Also, the Serpent Standing Stone gives a once a day poison blast power that deals some damage over time and paralyzes the target. Could have been useful for paralysis when you can't pickpocket (like with Miraak)
The Staff of Paralysis that you can snag pretty easily even in early game from Snapleg Cave might fight in the repertoire here. Haven't really thought through if that would help out much more than what you can already accomplish with the Paralysis potions you brew, but it might be useful. I like to grab it and use it to paralyze trainers so I can pickpocket my money back without save-cheating, and simply making it possible at all when you're training high levels that involve amounts of gold that are high enough that the pickpocket probability is always 0%. It's a life-saver as a backup for when a battlle goes south unexpectedly if playing normally, whatever that means, lololol.
Seeing the Ebony Mail do so little damage made me wonder if it could be enhanced- I know that the fortify restoration glitch applies to almost all enchantments, it makes me wonder if you could boost the power of the poison with the potions- Or maybe fortify destruction potions would change the damage of it, since crafted destruction potions actually boost the damage of destruction magic- I might have to experiment with that when I regain my will to play Skyrim again.
@@Veaug It technically is, but it's weird- A lot of things in the game are secretly restoration somehow. Mainly I don't know if drinking a restoration potion would enhance the poison done by the mail, I think it would since the poison is BOTH restoration and an enchantment, and most enchantments are actually boosted by fortify restoration, but the game can behave in unpredictable ways, especially with unique items like one of a kind armor or weapons when using exploits, since these mechanics are unintended, they may not be consistent all the time. Do enjoy the mod Adamant. It alongside Mysticism really fleshes out options for builds. Restoration gets sun and poison spells, and you inherently get the poisoner perk so you can reverse pickpocket poisons on enemies for the get go, with the perk in the tree just boosting the poison damage when you do this.
Baron‘s timing is just on point, nothing like a freshly dropped video for dinner
You must be 5 years old
@@mihaimercenarul7467 now, this will be a wild concept for you, but have you considered different time zones?
YOU ATE THE VIDEO??
@@michaeledmunds7056 what, you didn‘t?!
i just expected a normal skyrim challenge video, and got a reaaly well edited and VERY entertaining video with ORIGINAL SONGS????
Btw the Hadvar exploit works best with a Dagger in your Mainhand and a mace in your offhand as your onehanded leveling speed is based on damage. Using dual wield attacks gets you probably 9-10 more one handed levels for the same time investment.
How have I never heard of your channel before? Absolutely killed it with the editing, and all the little songs throughout the video were such a nice touch (I’m especially a fan of the Dragonborn Boys at about 28:00)
Flawless execution, great video, when I’m done here I’m absolutely watching more of your stuff
thanks and welcome in!
5:52 Inigo was right about the chickens...
Wait, you did the music skits too? Broooo. This was absolutely top tier quality. Well done. Subbed.
This is such a well polished video. Those musical interludes? THE LURKER RAP?! Bravo sir, I'll be watching more of your stuff.
My favorite part of these videos are these mini ballads for each chapter. They're a nice touch
Theoretically could you not have did the duplication glitch on the Ebony Mail. After this do the jail glitch which lets you wear multiple sets of armour and stack multiple ebony mails? Not sure if the poison stacks but might have been useful
The wittiness of your commentary is so incredibly entertaining, I love it
I don't normally laugh out loud but the one about hentai carpet got me rolling on the floor, well done.😂😂
The only thing harder than this challenge are these beats. 🔥💯🔥💯🔥💯🔥
this run seems very *toxic*
I'll see myself out
More things like this Baron! Love your souls videos but this was highly enjoyable and felt fresh! Keep up the good work
I once played Skyrim on my presidential Wii after Todd Howard came over for KFC. The only reason why Skyrim: Wii Edition was never released was because I greased up the only disc made with chicken fat and it slipped right out of my hands straight into my unfortunately nearby presidential paper shredder.
Oh, Obama. You rascal, you.
Insane original music and comedic timing. Love the video among an ocean of other skyrim videos. GG
Why does nobody ever legendary their skills when doing goofy level grinds like the hadvar thing?
Man the editing is very high quality and top tier! Great vid
I don't get it, it says poison only but 5 mins into the vid and he is already whacking the guy with an iron dagger for quick sneak level ups.
you obviously missed the part where I said I can only damage ENEMIES using poison. Hadvar is not an enemy by definition since he never aggros onto you.
Nerd emoji
This commentary is everything. 🤣🤣. Also I love how you did things a lil backwards. Miraak was done before Alduin which changed some of the rewards. Im here for it. Im currently playing a Breton and i didnt trigger the dragons yet cause, well tbh i didnt feel like it yet. Sis is getting houses, being an absent yet playful but still giving mom (Yall all know how Vanilla parenting is in this game and Im on switch so theres no much I can do there parenting wise with the role play aspect) and adopting pets while wearing different kinds of armor. The latest being the dark seducer armor along with the mage robes cause I got my character being a battlemage and going between magic and one handed and the bow. Ill trigger the dragons when Im well and ready and after I level up a bunch more
For the next "Can You Beat Skyrim As Giantdad?
Wtf lmao the amount of time and effort put into this video is insane subbed amazing video
4:31 I was scouring my memories, trying to figure out where I know this song from, and then realized it's from that old claymation game the Neverhood.
I don’t think enough people are talking about that amazing Lurker Rap in the middle of the vid
Watched till the end. Fantastic video! The Lydia song has been stuck in my head for the last half hour or so, I think you got a banger on your hands.
Keep it up with these musical interludes, they're so well made and so stupid it's genious
The songs continue to be *chef's kiss* as per usual. Top effort.
You know what's the best part of the video? Hearing parts of the Chrono Cross soundtrack throughout the video, nice taste.
But the humor is pretty close too 🤣
The last thing I expected today was a Dragonborn Beastie Boys parody.
Least of all, Intergalactic. Hello Nasty was such an underrated album.
This is the most entertaining Skyrim playthrough I've ever watched in the 10 years I've been consuming Skyrim content
I can’t believe that you quoted my favorite movie. Subbed.
Absolutely was not expecting a beastie boys parody. 10/10 video
your taste in music is impeccable, I had to rewatch multiple sections because I was jamming out and could'nt pay attention to what you're saying haha.
Just here to say that I'll forever appreciate your occasional use of Gravity Rush OST
came for the challenge, subbed for the music. those littke musical sections add so much to this vid!
I came in here because of the poison thingy (am trying to make a poisoner build) and ended up staying because of your amazing work. You made me laugh with Skyrim again and those songs were really good, mate. Ya best keep it up. Make Skyrim great again. 😂
Dude what the hell the rap at 29:44 goes hard as fuckkk
Love that snippet of the Neverhood soundtrack you used while stabbing Hadvar, made me laugh.
The quality is phenomenal on this vid. Loved it.
the quality of these videos are OUT OF THIS WORLD
I have only just discovered you and i'm already subscribed
That Beastie Boys parody was a thing of beauty. Your musical interludes are becoming better and better.
I loved musical numbers in this one. Good job Baron.
