- La Jolla California Travel Guide - Explore La Jolla Cove, Prospect Street, the Children's Pool, Mount Soledad and the El Pescador Fish Market!
La Jolla is "The Jewel" of San Diego and one of the most popular tourist destinations. In this video Jaycation explores the most touristy part of La Jolla, which is the area is La Jolla Cove. Before we tour one of the most beautiful coastlines of California, we dine at the fresh and tasty El Pescador Fish Market for some Calamari, Clam Chowder and local San Diego Craft Brew!
After lunch Jay hops on his Electric Skateboard through La Jolla towards Windansea Beach and then to the La Jolla Tidepools. From the Tidepools we head to the famous Children's Pool and then to La Jolla Cove where the smelly seals live!
Later we tour one of the most beautiful Hotels in La Jolla called the Pantai Inn and then meet up a familiar friend on Prospect Street and check out high end restaurants like Duke's La Jolla, Eddie V's and George's at the Cove. We also stop by the Cave Store and check out the Coast Walk Trail overlooking La Jolla Shores.
Finally we end the video up the hill in Mount Soledad to check out views of La Jolla and San Diego as the sun fades away!

Man, I went here with my parents when I flew from Europe to Encinitas for art school with Jeff Watts. It was a scary time in my life and I was so nervous about the future.
Looking back I am so grateful for the experiences during the time I was in San Diego as it taught me so much.

This place reminded me of old San Juan Puerto minus the really colorful houses. I had a really nice day here. I swam in the childrens Pool, the seals werent there, lol.
True story my parents considered moving us all to La Jolla in 1998/99. Didn’t end up doing it, but we almost 😅 ended up in La Jolla for high school

Visiting from the PNW in a couple weeks. It'll be my first time in San Diego. We'll be with my wife's family with people coming from Kansas City and Flagstaff as well. Loving the look of El Pescador, but I'm definitely the main seafood person in the group having grown up digging clams and going crabbing. That Calamari cake looked delicious. Appreciate your videos.

Dude that place is great, i didnt even break the bank on that lunch! If i didnt get the beer would've been around 12 bucks for lunch. I've been on a Lager trend lately, that japanese lager is good!
go back to El Pescador and try a yellowtail sandwich cajun style w/avocado, you will thank me later... my favorite haunt of all time! Don't forget to pair with one of the local beers on tap!
I love La Jolla! I love the cove! I love downtown La Jolla! Absolutely gorgeous! Great hiking trails in La Jolla! If you don't like San Diego then you don't like anyplace. I love both San Diego and Boston. Boston has a lot to do just like San Diego. The Oyster House in Boston has great seafood. I also love Quincy Market in Boston. They have great places to eat in there and they have entertainment outside.
I am both a San Diego Padres and a Boston Red Sox fan. My favorite football teams are the San Francisco 49ers and the New England Patriots. My favorite basketball teams are the Los Angeles Clippers and the Boston Celtics. Yes I am from the New England area.

*Its the only entrance to a sea cave from land in California and its only 5 bucks so if you have not done that before hell yes do it!! everyone has to at least once. especially if you have never been in a sea cave.* just my opinion 😊🌸🌴☀️🦋💕🤙🏼

Midge town is not the preferred nomenclature. "Tiny Town" in La Jolla is also a myth.
