So I tried hooking up by usbcC but my monitor does not have that option. I really really tried by bluetooth, (I am presently typing on a small ipad blueT KB) but windows does not want to recognize the signal. It does give me an 'unknown device' option but it still does not connect to my chromebook : (

Hi, Love you videos thank you. My problem is I have a Lenovo Chrome OS and a lenovo monitor. I connected it properly and it worked for a couple of weeks perfectly. Now when I turn on the monitor and lap top the monitor shows 'standby mode' . I cant get Lenovo help through chat as it's not in Australia yet. In display settings it does not have the setting for dual monitor or add a monitor.

Hello! Is it possible to connect a windows computer to a chrombook, with the chromebook being the larger screen? Or would I need to buy a bigger screen for my windows laptop if I need a bigger screen?
Hi! You can use duet display to do this -- since chrome os can run Android apps, you can do this using the app (it's a paid app doe).
If you have a wired keyboard and mouse can you get a port then plug both into the chromebook and will it work on the monitor?
Can you please let me know how to use as a dual monitor?
"Just pair them up" didn't work.
Sounds like a you problem
But how can I use different apps in different screens? For instance, I wanna watch a movie in the bigger screen as I'm writing a review in the laptop. Dunno how to do that, all I know is how to mirror the laptop.
Check out the screens starting around 3:07 in the video.
When you select the monitor for the 'Screen' setting you can choose to mirror or extend the display.
