She is the daughter of Comissioner Gordon and her name is Barbara. The dude in blue is Nightwing a.k.a. Dick Grayson. He was the first Robin for the good ol' Batsy! Who at some point just grew up and took the new identity. He and his parents were circus acrobats, hence Dick is very agile (making it a requirement for every following Robin to become more agile too). His parents died/were killed not sure anymore how it all happened (I think there are different versions at this point) and that is when Bruce has adopted him. The Red Hood (yup the guy in the red hood/helmet) is Jason Todd, and he was the second Robin to our Batsy. Bats met him when the boy was trying to steal the wheels off the Batmobile I think. He was killed by the Joker, but got brought back trough the Lazarus pit and has this white streak of heair ever since. Also he was probably the most violent sidekick of the Bat, up until Bruce's son showed up. And at last but not least, Tim Drake. The third Robin. He is hacker and generally very tech-savvy. My personal favourite Robin. It's been a while but I think he hacked the Bat Cave? because he wated to make Batman make him his next Robin? Something like that. It's been a while since I've dived into the DC universe. Ah! He is also bbfs later with Superboy! X3

Tim became Robin because he found out Batman was Bruce Wayne based on a move he saw Dick do while Robin and the death of Jason. He basically was like “you need a Robin or you’ll succumb to being what you hate”.
Genuinely this Suicide Squad trailer was the best Suicide Squad I've seen so far, that includes the comic books. They hit all the right notes: humour and violence, all I need from these characters. They even forgot what their mission was, couldn't get better than that. Then Evil Superman, how lovely. I'm super excited, who would have thought. Ps. Robert Pattinson is taking the route of Leonardo DiCaprio, from a teenage heartthrob disliked by all the jello dudes to a beloved actor taking part is some incredible films (Lighthouse is a masterpiece and he's massive in it).
The trailer for light house is exactly what I'm talking about! He's too good! I don't ever want to watch that movie. I don't want to feel those creepy creepy feelings.... omg just the trailer made me a little scared.
@@HannaHsOverInvested actually the movie - although at times creepy - was more poetic for me than anything. There's some chilling scenes alright and Pattinson fits right in with his boney face.

The characters you did not know in Gotham Knights were basically trained by Batman, started out as Robin, and grew up and developed to the point they became heroes with their own costumes. The idea was eventually when Batman died, one of them would replace him. At the end there you saw the court of owls, which happens to be a secret society of elite assassins. "Coincidently" owls happen to be natural predators to bats, and I assume they were behind Batman's death in the game.

Yes they were all established characters. All 4 were his protégés. Robin, batgirl, nightwing and red hood. The last 2 were previous robins. Nightwing is dick Grayson the first robin and red hood is Jason Todd the second who(depending on story) was killed in a gruesome way in the comic but how it was decided he would die was hilarious since the writers let the fans decide if he lived or died and thought he would get the live votes. He got resurrected years later and was more violent and resentful

Batgirl looks awesome I'm happy that they're finally doing something with her in a Batman game because she was only playable in Batman Arkham Knights but DLC so I'm happy that she's going to get to shine more for once it's not about Batman but anyway I am more excited for Gotham Knights than the Suicide Squad game maybe things will change in the future with some gameplay but as of right now Gotham Knight is a win definitely going to pre-order
2:04 well to be fair... Making an historically white character black in a new medium is often done for politically correct reasons. When the race of the character isn't important i don't really care as long as the actor does it well. But quick question... What if they made Spawn or Blade (both historically black comic book characters) white... Would you care? I would hate it if they did!
You should see the Batman Arkham games trailers. Start with Batman: Arkham Origins, Batman: Arkham Asylum, Batman: Arkham City and Batman: Arkham Knight. I feel like you'll enjoy them.
Still a pleasure to watch these reactions. And to dig deeper into Batman's lore, the Titans (2018) TV show does a pretty good job. The history of the batfamily is developed there. The two from the Gotham Knights trailer you mentioned not knowing were Nightwing aka Dick Grayson who was the first Robin to work with Batman and the other was Red Hood aka Jason Todd who was the second Robin.
So as far as Gotham Knights, you have Jason Todd which is the 2nd Robin that later became The Red Hood and was the first one that appeared on screen in the alley. Barbara Gordon, Jim Gordon's daughter and she is Batgirl, and was Oracle when she was in a wheelchair paralyzed by Joker. The third that appears hitting a dummy is Dick Grayson, the first and original Robin. When he grew up he left Batman for a time to fight crime in Bloodhaven and became Nightwing. And the last one who looks to be the youngest is the third Robin Tim Drake, he is very good with computers much like Batgirl and he is good with building gadgets and techy stuff, and obviously he can fight but that's a given if you're one of Batman's pupils lol. The last part with the crepy kid talking in the background, they are known as The Court of Owls. Some of the best Batman villains ever aa they are more of a Shadow organization that runs and controls Gotham and often are responsible cor some big things that go down in Gotham, as well as making villains work with each other without them ever knowing they were working on behalf of the Court. They can be compared to the Deep State or Shadow State conspiracy group that people claim that run the world.
The end of the video indicates that Bruce was killed by The Court of Owls. A criminal aristocracy aroound since the founding of Gotham. They have genetically enhanced soldiers they send out from thos coffins when they need someone killed. Great trailer, and enjoyedv the reaction.

It's probably already been explained but the characters are: Robin(Not sure which one yet), Batgirl (Gordon's daughter), Nightwing, Red Hood. I find it funny that there's three Versions of Robin but no batwoman lol.

Second Robin, got killed (?) by the Joker and started killing criminals instead of arresting them. Batgirl: Barbara Gordon. Daughter of Jim Gordon, first Batgirl. Got paralysed (?) by the Joker. I'm not sure if the kid in the Robin costume is Tim Drake (the third Robin), or Damian Wayne (Batman's Biological Son who's the youngest but also was trained by R'as al-Ghul to be an assassin). I'm holding out for Orphan/Black Bat ( Cassandra Cain. She's the daughter of supervillains and so good at fighting she learned it instead of learning how to speak) and Lark (Duke Thomas), who's the only superpowered Wayne kid. He has some kind of clairvoyance, I think. But he's black and Cass is Asian and they're both recent additions, so they're often not included as often.

Makes me wonder, I wonder if you'd like the old Arkham trailers. There were 4 Batman games in that series, and I honestly hold Batman: Arkham City as one of my all time favourite gaming experiences (Though Origins might have the most exciting trailer). In chronological order, it would be Batman: Arkham Origins, Batman: Arkham Asylum, Batman: Arkham City and then Batman: Arkham knight (Though Origins is in actuality the 3rd game that came out, even if it is taking place 10 years earlier than the others). The trailers are a bit old now, and at least the first one (arkham asylum) is possibly a bit dated. . . though it has the voice of Mark Hamill, which is always a great treat.
The Suicide Squad game is going to be loads of fun. I'm a huge fan of the comics, though the movie was... yeah. I actually preferred Birds of Prey to Suicide Squad, since I loved the New 52 Harley and SS series, and it was a lot closer to that. Luckily there's a new Suicide Squad movie coming out with a decent director, so it could save that franchise.
well it's not just Gordon that's black it's also Cat Woman... Gordon I can see as a black character, Selina Kyle not that much. Also the implication that Gordon is black means that batgirl is also black... that's a lot of changes from the original characters.
.... And? It's set in an inner city, in modern times. Those characters could be any ethnicity. Doesn't mean there is an agenda. Maybe they just cast the best person for the job.
@@HannaHsOverInvested Wouldn't say there is an agenda but it is weird as that's like a 70 year old character and I can't think of a time he was anything different but yeah it ultimately changes little. But really it depends like the biggest example I can think of was Professor X and Magneto for the X-Men. Like making Professor X swapped matters little but doing that to Magnus changes his entire character as a big part of it was he was in the holocaust and Jewish and his experiences are a huge reason he is the way he is now. There was a show where Wolverine had a thick Australian accent which is weird as he's Canadian. I don't know I would feel the same way if you changed Jon Steward into a white guy mainly because he was the first Green Lantern I was introduced to but really he's just a black ex-solider in an alien space cop department. The only thing that matters there is he's human as there is like 6(?) humans in a group of thousands of aliens. Really I would rather see more black characters get attention. There is plenty good ones nobody ever uses which is frustrating to me. Like Static Shock was big when he came out and I would love to see a movie on it (although I doubt it will happen because of the legality). Or Blue Marvel, the afore mentioned Jon Steward. Hell, the black Captain Marvel (Monica Rambeau). Lots of choices.
I agree that changing Magnetos race would really change his back story. But like... What if he was Palestinian? Or a Muslim from China? A black guy from South Africa who lived in apartheid? Indigenous survivor or a residential school? Def would change his back story, but would that really change the over all story? I dont know the comics well enough, but the experience of segregation in genocide is not unique to Jews in the Holocaust.

Magnus really only works because he's an older educated man so if you apply current political issues it clashes with the theme of X-Men. 2 of the biggest things in X-Men is the themes of hatred to certain groups of people and how diverse the cast can be (one team had a Canadian German, Russian, Native American, African and an American as the members). Mutant is really just an allegory for whatever minority group you want to throw in there. So saying Magneto has to deal with to different things like that kind of pulls him in 2 different directions. The other main thing is the holocaust was government sanctioned murder on a mass scale which is the key to his line of thinking. I mean there is a big difference between getting abused or jailed because of skin color or religion and being thrown into a gas chamber or staved because of the same. He feels if things hit a point there is no hope for peace anymore. If you want to live you have no choice but to respond with extreme violence to be left alone. Xavier feels if you start killing people you'll just create more hate but Magnus rebuttal is pretty much that he already lived through it he knows where it leads. If he was, say part of apartheid or Palestinian it changes his world view somewhat and by extension what his character is about. It's like Night Crawler, if you took him and made him not be raised in a church in Germany it changes a lot you lose that dynamic of he looks like a devil but is a priest and you just have a guy being judged on his appearance which apparently turns him into a hot headed emo guy. Of course the fantasy side of it is Magnus is an actually global threat and a terrorist so when he wants to live alone on some island or something with a bunch of mutants, people get scared as mutants can be very dangerous and he has done some monstrous stuff which is why he's a bad guy, but he kind of has a point.
@@HannaHsOverInvested I don't know about the Batman movie specificaly, but i think people think there is an agenda in changing white character races in general, because people in Holywood actualy talk a lot about wanting to have less white people in movies. There was a Marvel show called The Iron Fist for example, about a white kid who's plane crashed in Asia and he was taken in by monks and taught Kung Fu. And people got upset that the white character was played by a white actor. They said they should have cast an asian actor to play him. Generaly speaking i think people just don't like it when characters they love get changed. Especialy when it feels like it's not for the good of the story but for an agenda. Thay want new characters, but instead characters they like get changed.

The actors are accomplished and to me have been selected on talent. i really like Zoe Kravitz as catwoman. I thought she was a standout in Mad Max. I stand by what i said about Pattinson, this is Batman Begins Lite reboot. Batfleck is a much better batman. It is an unnecessary reboot, However I do like the AT&T management putting out variety. Thinking about fans for once. However this should be on HBO Max and the Snydercut in cinemas.

Hello! I'm fan of the World of Warcraft and videogames in general, and i have concern about one of your next NGW. Many your subs voted for All Legion cinematics in chronological order. It's about hour and half long! I afraid this is a bad idea because there are plenty unnecessary fillers and you can be bored watching it. This is only possibility, I can be wrong, but Assassin's creed won poll too, and i think you must know that you are going to watch. Biggest problem with this video - WOW: Legion: The Movie (All Legion cinematics in chronological order) is not a movie. Even if you watch all of it, you still be missing a lot. WOW has complex lore and "All Legion cinematics" will be only few pieces of the story. Some events cover from decades to thousand years. Every character has a backstory, family tree and relationships with other characters. There are different planets, space ships, space demon army, different timelines, parallel dimensions in this universe. Pretty easy to be confused. I think best desicion here is watching only important stuff - main story without fillers. Scenarists of the game made main story understandable and interesting for a new people. Another problem is inconsistent quality, there are only few cinematic that look good as WOW videos you already watched. Some cinematics that made with game's engine are just about characters who speak some exposition. That's pretty boring if you aren't playing the game and just watch it on youtube. It's not a very good way to get to know the Legion's storyline. I think so at least. I recommend you to watch only important cinematics of the Legion. You can start with this videos for example: 1. Yes they were all established characters. All 4 were his protégés. Robin, batgirl, nightwing and red hood. The last 2 were previous robins. Nightwing is dick Grayson the first robin and red hood is Jason Todd the second who(depending on story) was killed in a gruesome way in the comic but how it was decided he would die was hilarious since the writers let the fans decide if he lived or died and thought he would get the live votes. He got resurrected years later and was more violent and resentful

When the race of the character isn't important i don't really care as long as the actor does it well.

The two from the Gotham Knights trailer you mentioned not knowing were Nightwing aka Dick Grayson who was the first Robin to work with Batman and the other was Red Hood aka Jason Todd who was the second Robin.

So as far as Gotham Knights, you have Jason Todd which is the 2nd Robin that later became The Red Hood and was the first one that appeared on screen in the alley. Barbara Gordon, Jim Gordon's daughter and she is Batgirl, and was Oracle when she was in a wheelchair paralyzed by Joker. The third that appears hitting a dummy is Dick Grayson, the first and original Robin. When he grew up he left Batman for a time to fight crime in Bloodhaven and became Nightwing. And the last one who looks to be the youngest is the third Robin Tim Drake, he is very good with computers much like Batgirl and he is good with building gadgets and techy stuff, and obviously he can fight but that's a given if you're one of Batman's pupils lol.
The last part with the crepy kid talking in the background, they are known as The Court of Owls. Some of the best Batman villains ever aa they are more of a Shadow organization that runs and controls Gotham and often are responsible cor some big things that go down in Gotham, as well as making villains work with each other without them ever knowing they were working on behalf of the Court.
They can be compared to the Deep State or Shadow State conspiracy group that people claim that run the world.
The end of the video indicates that Bruce was killed by The Court of Owls. A criminal aristocracy aroound since the founding of Gotham. They have genetically enhanced soldiers they send out from thos coffins when they need someone killed. Great trailer, and enjoyedv the reaction.

I'm holding out for Orphan/Black Bat ( Cassandra Cain. She's the daughter of supervillains and so good at fighting she learned it instead of learning how to speak) and Lark (Duke Thomas), who's the only superpowered Wayne kid. He has some kind of clairvoyance, I think. But he's black and Cass is Asian and they're both recent additions, so they're often not included as often.

Makes me wonder, I wonder if you'd like the old Arkham trailers. There were 4 Batman games in that series, and I honestly hold Batman: Arkham City as one of my all time favourite gaming experiences (Though Origins might have the most exciting trailer). In chronological order, it would be Batman: Arkham Origins, Batman: Arkham Asylum, Batman: Arkham City and then Batman: Arkham knight (Though Origins is in actuality the 3rd game that came out, even if it is taking place 10 years earlier than the others).
The trailers are a bit old now, and at least the first one (arkham asylum) is possibly a bit dated. . . though it has the voice of Mark Hamill, which is always a great treat.
The Suicide Squad game is going to be loads of fun. I'm a huge fan of the comics, though the movie was... yeah. I actually preferred Birds of Prey to Suicide Squad, since I loved the New 52 Harley and SS series, and it was a lot closer to that. Luckily there's a new Suicide Squad movie coming out with a decent director, so it could save that franchise.

well it's not just Gordon that's black it's also Cat Woman... Gordon I can see as a black character, Selina Kyle not that much.
Also the implication that Gordon is black means that batgirl is also black... that's a lot of changes from the original characters.
.... And? It's set in an inner city, in modern times. Those characters could be any ethnicity. Doesn't mean there is an agenda. Maybe they just cast the best person for the job.
@@HannaHsOverInvested Wouldn't say there is an agenda but it is weird as that's like a 70 year old character and I can't think of a time he was anything different but yeah it ultimately changes little. But really it depends like the biggest example I can think of was Professor X and Magneto for the X-Men. Like making Professor X swapped matters little but doing that to Magnus changes his entire character as a big part of it was he was in the holocaust and Jewish and his experiences are a huge reason he is the way he is now. There was a show where Wolverine had a thick Australian accent which is weird as he's Canadian.
I don't know I would feel the same way if you changed Jon Steward into a white guy mainly because he was the first Green Lantern I was introduced to but really he's just a black ex-solider in an alien space cop department. The only thing that matters there is he's human as there is like 6(?) humans in a group of thousands of aliens. Really I would rather see more black characters get attention. There is plenty good ones nobody ever uses which is frustrating to me. Like Static Shock was big when he came out and I would love to see a movie on it (although I doubt it will happen because of the legality). Or Blue Marvel, the afore mentioned Jon Steward. Hell, the black Captain Marvel (Monica Rambeau). Lots of choices.

Def would change his back story, but would that really change the over all story? I dont know the comics well enough, but the experience of segregation in genocide is not unique to Jews in the Holocaust.
@@HannaHsOverInvested Might have lost the original post so might have doubled this up but it's kind of an interesting discussion so I'll re-post: Partly it doesn't work because of age. Magnus really only works because he's an older educated man so if you apply current political issues it clashes with the theme of X-Men. 2 of the biggest things in X-Men is the themes of hatred to certain groups of people and how diverse the cast can be (one team had a Canadian German, Russian, Native American, African and an American as the members). Mutant is really just an allegory for whatever minority group you want to throw in there. So saying Magneto has to deal with to different things like that kind of pulls him in 2 different directions.
The other main thing is the holocaust was government sanctioned murder on a mass scale which is the key to his line of thinking. I mean there is a big difference between getting abused or jailed because of skin color or religion and being thrown into a gas chamber or staved because of the same. He feels if things hit a point there is no hope for peace anymore. If you want to live you have no choice but to respond with extreme violence to be left alone. Xavier feels if you start killing people you'll just create more hate but Magnus rebuttal is pretty much that he already lived through it he knows where it leads. If he was, say part of apartheid or Palestinian it changes his world view somewhat and by extension what his character is about. It's like Night Crawler, if you took him and made him not be raised in a church in Germany it changes a lot you lose that dynamic of he looks like a devil but is a priest and you just have a guy being judged on his appearance which apparently turns him into a hot headed emo guy.
Of course the fantasy side of it is Magnus is an actually global threat and a terrorist so when he wants to live alone on some island or something with a bunch of mutants, people get scared as mutants can be very dangerous and he has done some monstrous stuff which is why he's a bad guy, but he kind of has a point.
@@HannaHsOverInvested I don't know about the Batman movie specificaly, but i think people think there is an agenda in changing white character races in general, because people in Holywood actualy talk a lot about wanting to have less white people in movies. There was a Marvel show called The Iron Fist for example, about a white kid who's plane crashed in Asia and he was taken in by monks and taught Kung Fu. And people got upset that the white character was played by a white actor. They said they should have cast an asian actor to play him.
Generaly speaking i think people just don't like it when characters they love get changed. Especialy when it feels like it's not for the good of the story but for an agenda. Thay want new characters, but instead characters they like get changed.

The actors are accomplished and to me have been selected on talent. i really like Zoe Kravitz as catwoman. I thought she was a standout in Mad Max. I stand by what i said about Pattinson, this is Batman Begins Lite reboot. Batfleck is a much better batman. It is an unnecessary reboot, However I do like the AT&T management putting out variety. Thinking about fans for once. However this should be on HBO Max and the Snydercut in cinemas.

Hello! I'm fan of the World of Warcraft and videogames in general, and i have concern about one of your next NGW. Many your subs voted for All Legion cinematics in chronological order. It's about hour and half long! I afraid this is a bad idea because there are plenty unnecessary fillers and you can be bored watching it. This is only possibility, I can be wrong, but Assassin's creed won poll too, and i think you must know that you are going to watch.
Biggest problem with this video - WOW: Legion: The Movie (All Legion cinematics in chronological order) is not a movie. Even if you watch all of it, you still be missing a lot. WOW has complex lore and "All Legion cinematics" will be only few pieces of the story. Some events cover from decades to thousand years. Every character has a backstory, family tree and relationships with other characters. There are different planets, space ships, space demon army, different timelines, parallel dimensions in this universe. Pretty easy to be confused. I think best desicion here is watching only important stuff - main story without fillers. Scenarists of the game made main story understandable and interesting for a new people.
Another problem is inconsistent quality, there are only few cinematic that look good as WOW videos you already watched. Some cinematics that made with game's engine are just about characters who speak some exposition. That's pretty boring if you aren't playing the game and just watch it on youtube.
It's not a very good way to get to know the Legion's storyline. I think so at least.
