The 3 main characters do a good job of representing the experiences of actual players. Also for Lucy, most Fallout games start with the main character leaving their vault out of necessity to find something/someone. So she's representative of most peoples first experience with a fallout game.

Lets put it this way. The Fallout tv show is so good in the entirety of its 8 episode span; that the entire franchise and EVERY SINGLE game has had a huge resurgence of players.
"Ah mais c'est quoi ça ?" Hahaha, une très bonne question! The stuff she used to heal herself is called a stimpack, they're the primary healing item in the games and it can fix you injuries too.
Yeah. I like how they said fuckit' usually Hollywood productions feel the need to make these thing's make sense. But they really don't have to. It's a fantasy world, let our minds wonder.
I love this game franchise so damn much; it's such a great combination of cartoonishly over-the-top violence and biting, wild satire. I was cautiously optimistic going in, and the show surpassed my expectations. The smartest thing they did was, instead of directly adapting one of the existing games, they just made a completely original story set in the same game universe. And Walton Goggins always makes every movie or TV series better. But overall, I think they absolutely knocked the tone and aesthetic completely out of the park.
Good to see you back Hannah! This show is awesome but that opening scene where the atomic bomb was dropped and his little girl saw it was just terrifying!
Same here I hope with the success of season 1 that they make either season 2 with more episodes or they start working on season 3 right away so we don't have to wait 2 years for the next season.
Yes! You are supposed to have many questions at this point, but not due to lacking any game knowledge. There's a bunch of intertwined stories and mysteries that get revealed as it goes. I guess some backstory might be useful, like but not really essential. The alternate reality of this world diverged just after World War 2, and is mostly rooted in how the world perceived nuclear energy after Hiroshima and Nagasaki. ie they embraced it rather than being terrified of it. Oh, and the US annexed Canada at some point. Sorry. :)
This show is one of the best video game adaptations! You can really feel that the people behind it are huge fans of the games since there are references/easter eggs to not just the newer games, but also the very first games too! Even the tiny details, the feel, atmosphere, humour.. They just nailed Fallout!
I loved this show! The story, the actors, the sets and Easter eggs. You can really tell the people involved love the games. And the scene where Lucy staples her wound closed, at least she didn't staple her clothes to the wound like the last time you saw Ella Purnell in a video game inspired series. IYKYK
This show is surprisingly good, and accurate to the lore. Keep watching. It gets even better! Also, "Raiders" is the word she said you couldn't figure out. Raiders are basically what they call common people in the world above, except they survive by scavenging, and killing. Similarly to Vikings I suppose. This is also a error in writing. Cause they aren't actually supposed to know about Raider's. That's generally a term you find out in the games, after you gotto the surface. Someone could correct me if I'm wrong.
This show is phenomenal. Its a lot more accurate to the games then Last of Us was. The problem i had with the Last of Us was that it was a story that was already told through the game. Sure there were some differences but for the most part you knew the overall story. This is an entirely new story that's cannon to the Fallout world and takes place about 9 years after Fallout 4, which is the most recent in the timeline. Everything you see in the world is pulled directly from the games. The tone is perfect. It feels like it belongs in the same world that the games do. I think it helps that the creator of fallout, Todd Howard, had direct involvement with the show. The scenes with Lucy in the vault are pretty much the first hour or two of every Fallout game. Fallout is a massive open wold RPG. Its not a game to play if you don't have the time. Your put in the world and told here are some missions now go explore. If your new to gaming its a little overwhelming because while you have missions you can get easily sidetracked by random quests that have nothing to do with the main story. I highly recommend you watch the season. As you get further in show some of the story is new to even players of the games. It expands the lore instead of the games rather then overwrites it. Season 2 has already been confirmed.
@@HannaHsOverInvested Witcher III (and most open work RPGs) are quite slow paced... though in my mind, The Witcher III is nearly perfect; my favourite game. I genuinely think you'd enjoy one of the newer Assassin's Creed games. Origins is my favourite by far. Love the setting (Ancient Egypt) and the characters are really good, too.
Small correction, Todd Howard is not the creator of Fallout. That would be Tim Cain, who developed the first fallout game in 1994. Todd Howard did direct the games once Bethesda acquired fallout and made fallout 3.

This show is considered very good in the community. I’m glad it wasn’t just a retelling of a story we already have heard. It’s an addition to the world the fans already love. It’s a new story set in the same world as the games.
13:13 It's the Rock-It Launcher, or Junk Jet. It's a reverse vacuum type thing that propels every day junk objects as bullets to end the not-death of people
*Fallout* takes place in an alternate history, after World war 2 things went a bit different. ~Transistors and silicon chips weren't invented until much later than our world, but they had more advanced nuke tech even nuke powered cars, also laser and plasma weapons ~The US politics and culture stagnated, stayed around 1950s, continental states organized into 13 Commonwealths ~Dwindling resources led to wars that destroyed Europe and Middle East with limited nuke war etc, Russia stayed out of it but got got wrecked by chaos/fallout ~China invaded Alaska to get last major oil reserves on Earth, led to a 10 year long bloody stalemate war, broken by US deploying advanced "power armour" and portable mini nuke launchers for their troops ~The Great War lasted on 3 hours, HUGE numbers of mostly "small" nukes set to "ground burst" wrecked the US, added to all the nuke powered equipment in cities, left place irradiated.
~Many mutants due to radiation but also...the "FEV" virus (Forced Evolutionary Virus, too long to go into but a major issue in the games and part of why the Chinese nuked America) ~Ghouls are caused by an unusual mutation, when some Humans were hit by lethal radiation they didn't ' die but became ghouls, they have strange healing factor and aren't affected by aging, so can live centuries, but...the healing factor doesn't work on their skin and brains. Ghouls are often discriminated against by normal Humans ~The Enclave is a mysterious very high tech faction, their agenda and higher up are really evil, been defeated twice in the games ~The Brotherhood of Steel were started just before the nuke war, US soldiers mutinied against evil experiments on civilians, their goal was to prevent abuses of science etc, but over time they got fossilize din outlook, too militaristic, began taking tech by force they thought other folk shouldn't have etc. Small in number but very advanced military tech, some factions are ok, others are aholes
This very much lived up to my expectations. I think what makes it work so well is that it isn't trying to re-tell an already established story from one of the games, but rather is an extension to the universe. It's a story that stands on its own inside an established canon.
The world pre bombs is basically what they thought the future would be like un the 50s. Their universe focused in nuclear power while ours focused on the integrated circuit and microchips. We share a lot of similar historical moments up until roughly the 1950s.
I have been playing fallout since the first game dropped and have played all the canonical games. I love the show a lot of great references great storyline. I cannot wait for season two!
Also fallout is like a exploration adventure game where you go on quests “a big main quest” and lots of little “side quests” to do the big main quest eventually! It’s about picking through ruins and fighting weird creatures to get cool things that hide within while taking time to explore the lore of old broken down places. What happened here? Why is everything nuked? Who dropped the nukes? Why are there super mutants and people in different factions? Why are there people in metal armor? I think the show does a great job of conveying the feeling of “Lost but adventurously curious.” 😊
The good Fallout games actually tie up most of their side activity to the player's main objective. directly or through those side quests effecting the broader major conflict that surrounds said main objective. See: Fallout 1, 2, and New Vegas.
@@fillosof66689 I haven’t played one or 2 but there are SO many quests in new Vegas that have nothing to do with the main quest. But y’know if they all were the game would suck I wanna explore

13:58 I hope you keep the guessing in. It was a lot of fun guessing when I first watched, then rewatching and seeing things I completely missed the first time!!!
The director for this also did the Westworld series, and the style of storytelling is very similar. You're spot on when you say that you feel like you're meant to be confused!
I have to be honest, I wasn't really expecting much from this show, but it was sooooo much better than I thought it'd be and definitely made me want to visit the world in the games. I had a lot of fun with this show! The grimy, gross chaos is part of the fun in both the show and the games.
I'm a huge fallout fan, and the show surpassed my expectations. It has everything that I expect something set in the fallout universe to have. The tone, the characters, the aesthetic, the lore; they nailed it all.
As a long time Fallout player who played the first one in 1997 and who has around 10000 hours of cumulated play time in those games, this show just nails it. It really gives that Fallout experience full of nonsense, funny things, horor and gore. We need to keep in mind that this is not our world but a different one who sepearted from ours after WW2, there is no advanced electronics but atom power is everywhere.
They captured the tone of the original games perfectly. This really dark and macabre world that is simultaneously super goofy and wacky is exactly how Fallout is. Also, the central theme of the games is how conflict is an inherent and unavoidable aspect of human nature.
My level of Fallout Lore is "Intermediate to Good", I played all the games, I watched loads of Lore videos on UA-cam and I'd say that for me this is an amazing adaptation of the world. The story is fully new but still considered canon to the Fallout World. You will see a lot of gore and splatter as that is very common in the games, you will also see some "game mechanics" such as how Lucy stabs herself with that needle. That needle was a Stimpak, a healing item from the games which instantly heals you and can even help severely injured limbs. There is SO MUCH fanservice in this show. Basically everything you see in the background is from the games. The colour and textures of the Vault walls, the Vault suits are almost identical, the sound effect as the Raider uses the red-whit einhaler is exactly like the game. In later spidoes you can see food and candy in the background which is exactly from the games, and you will see magazines used to give the player a temporary bonus lying on the tables. The Pip-boys (the wrist-computers) are from the games and it's how the player can view the map, use items, change equipment, etc. Even the background music (the copyrighted 50's music) is straight from the games! Add to how there are Game mechanics such as how a player heals with the Stimpak, how limbs just.. vanish in explosions, how the player and their companion seems to have infinite bagspace, there is a computerhacking scene later on that's only visible for a second but is exactly how it is in the games. In short, game players seem to really love the show, and all the Fallout games have seen a resurgence with new players! Fallout 76 (that you watched an Internet Historian video about and how Bethesda were utter A-holes in how they lied and screwed customrs over) making it more popular now than it was evern at its launch!
The guy that lost his head, in the cemetery, was carrying a "Junk Jet", a weapon from the game. It's like a small jet engine, you load the hopper with junk and when you pull the trigger, it launches a piece at high velocity.
Only played fallout a little bit before watching the show but I could tell already it was matching the vibe it's a hard thing to do with video games. But fallout is more about the setting than is about any one persons particular story so I think that really helps this show in particular. If you get the setting right you can tell whatever story you want because they all can fit in the world of fallout.
5:30 this show is such a good example of show and not tell. It’s doesn’t just feed you everything on a silver platter. This is the first show I’ve ever watched where I genuinely enjoyed myself watching a second time and third and fourth!
I love that Lucy is essentially doing what a few previous protagonists have done. Fallout 3: Main Character leaves his vault to find his father, voiced by Liam Neeson (aka Qui-Gon Jinn from Starwars) Fallout on Amazon: Main Character leaves her vault to find her father, played by Kyle MacLachlan (aka Paul Atreides from David Lynch's Dune)
Season 1 of Fallout is amazing. Absolutely nails the feeling of the games. Best video game adaptation by far, and the majority of the questions do get answered.
Woot! been waiting for this. :) Edit: yeah, this totally exceeded expectation. It started good and from a fan's perspective actually got better in the latter half. Maybe not quite as fun (though I haven't rewatched the last half yet) but less generic post-apoc adventure and more specifically Fallout, expanding the lore in directions the games can't show us since they are more directly tied to the POV of a player.
Yes, it is above and beyond my expectations (as a fan since 1997). Be sure to watch the credits, they do some storytelling there before it goes to pure credits.
long time fallout fan here this show is good way better than i expected, i had very low expectations but this show genuinely surprised me in a good way
The show borrows some gameplay elements. The bloody mess perk is in full effect. Stimpacks has unrealistic healing. And in a later episode, a firefight scene resembling VATS… minus the pipboy.
As someone who has played 3, New Vegas, and 4, I found the show to be an incredible representation of what a player is bound to experience throughout one of the games. The main characters all act out like they're player characters on different playthroughs/runs and the story is still solid enough that a non-player can follow along and understand what's happening. For players, there are easter eggs galore, and it's glorious.
Heyy, comming from the second episode here to make some notes about stuff that references the games, as I did there 2:28 Yes, it's a wierd future. The game states that, the transistor, a very importante piece of electonics technology we have, was not invented till MUCH further down the timeline in this universe, so stuff evolved differently. Humans found out other ways to make stuff that we have, and with that, came a whole new plethora of techs and stuff that we don't have, cause tech evolved differently there. I don't think this part was explained in the intro videos you watch a while back. No time stamp in this, cause it's whole episode: The vault's look all EXACTLY like that in the game. I mean, the setting and mood of them, each vault looks different, but the look... It's so spot on. 7:53 Yeah, the stimpak... Explained that on the other one. 9:42 Ah the brotherhood... A very "militar-esque" organization, and you surely perceived, their purpose in the games is solely to stash away pre-war technology, so that people don't use them, in hopes that the nuclear war doesn't break out again. I don't think they REALLY explained that other than this scene. They have all the cool pre-war stuff stashed away. That's why they are also the primary source of power armors, the (yes, they are) heavy looking armors, powered by nuclear energy. The BIG ship is (supposed to be) the Prydwen, the only one of it's kind so far. Though, that would mean, if I'm not mistaken, that one and only one of the endings to fallout 4 is canon. Maybe it's another ship, somehow. The Prydwen plays a BIG part in that game. 11:33 There are always some outside way to open the door (that's how people from the surface opened vault 32 if you think about it) but you HAVE to have a pip-boy to be minimally able to do so. 13:12 Yeah, the Junk Jet I mentioned in episode 2's comment. 14:43 I don't think they really do explain what a ghoul is, so, it's kinda like the game implies that, if a human takes so much, so so so so much damn concentrated radiation in such a fast dose, it would mutate you into this creature faster than it would kill you, and since ghouls heal faster, and use radiation as "fuel", once you're mutated, the radiation would not kill you anymore, on the contrary, would be beneficial. Here, the ghoul is alive because, SO FAR AS WE KNOW, ghouls don't die of old age (or, at least, they don't die of old age before AT LEAST 200 and some years after "ghoul-ification". If they are not immortal by time passing, they could last 1000s of years, again, as far as we know) and all they aparently need to keep alive and kicking, is radiation, so those bags above the ghoul's grave were radiation bags of some sort, to keep him kicking. In the show, that's no spoiler at all, he keeps taking doses of radiation to keep himself sane, that's not really a think in the game again, as far as we know. In the games, it seems that what drives them insane is just time, loneliness, (un)luck, or it's just purely random. Hope it's usefull for context 🙂
Yes, this show brings the world of Fallout to life expertly. If you watch the opening cinematic of Fallout 4 (its on youtube somewhere), it will tell you everything you need to know about the Fallout universe without any spoilers for the show.
Exceeded expectations for sure. The Fallout franchise has seen a massive resurgence in player count due to this series. It's pretty great - hope you enjoy it!
The games to my understanding are RPGs and open world games. I bought a copy of Fallout 4 a few years ago and just recently started playing it after watching the show.
I was hoping you'd watch this one. The TV series absolutely lives up to the games, I've played them all to death and this show is just as Fallout as they are, I've already watched through it all three times now. Also, the item Lucy used on herself after getting stabbed is a Stimpak, an item from the games used for healing. The series is chock-full of game references and Easter eggs, it's a fantastic introduction to the world of Fallout for newcomers. If you ever decide to play one I'd recommend Fallout 4, it's the simplest one that'd be perfect for people fresh to the series. 😉👍
Really great show that did justice to the games, and I don't think you necessarily need to play the games to understand. Couple things that might make it easier for you; Stimpacks (Thing Lucy injected) is basically a very handy cure-all in game that seems in this universe to be able to close up wounds decently well. Brotherhood of Steel (Maximus' story) is a cult like organization with militaristic structure; They see pre-fallout technology as almost sacred. Lastly, Fallout as whole is a bit gruesome with serious messages delivered with lighthearted comedic vehicles and that is why some things may seem a little outrageous. The world pre-fallout is like Cold War era What-If with some high tech advancements like advanced robotics and lasers it is NOT the exact same as ours. Most of the rest is explained well over the course of the show and i'm excited for you to watch and react!
This show manages to create an engaging story that leaves you hanging on the edge of your seat at the end of every episode while still being incredibly faithful to the tone, appearance, dark humor, and style of the Fallout series games. There are literally thousands of references to in-game things -- pre-war brands, food items, medicine, robots, power armor, weapons, and history. Just as an example, the weapon firing random junk like the doll leg and the scissors is called a Junk Jet. It's based on a weapon you can find in both Fallout 3 and 4, and is essentially an amped up vacuum cleaner that will fire almost anything as a projectile. The injector used by Lucy is an in-game healing item called a Stimpak. It is effectively an instant heal using the magic of late 21st century super medicine (the war happened in 2077, so about 50 years from today in an alternate timeline where nobody invented the microchip).
I'm a massive fallout nerd and I love the show. I think they did a great job. Knowing the games helps you to know about some of the references but isn't necessary to follow the story. So people who don't know anything about the games can also appreciate the show. You should definitely do a letsplay of fallout.
Loved this adaption and the games. Don't worry about your eyes, you're a beauty like Seyfried and with a mind too. Now with that compliment, I've seen Seyfried compared to Gollum quite a bit.
I think it honors the game very well. It doesn't use any of the stories from the games but it's heavily influenced by the universe. Everything comes together in this by the end
The Fallout games have gotten a boost in sales because of this show, so safe to say it's pretty good. Heck, I bought Fallout 4 myself because it was on sale for 5 bucks.
The show literally follows video game logic so the thing she stabbed herself with is a Stimpak, a healing item from the games used to instantly regen health in games.or..cure any wounds in "reality". Don't expect too much real life accuracy when it comes to healing in Fallout things get blown off and reattached quite often in the Wasteland :D

@@sliceofheaven3026 no… but if there was a bound book that was just blank pages I’d call that a blank book. But now that doesn’t have much to do with the content anymore just the physical form of the paper… 🧐
And if a whole books worth of text was condensed onto one page. I’d still call that a page.
So. It’s a streamed show with the contents of a tv show… which needs a better name than that is there one already? Series? No that’s for tv shows too…
7:57 "They don't have Die Hard in this world?" - I mean, her name is pronounced "Lucy McClane"...
Lets put it this way. The Fallout tv show is so good in the entirety of its 8 episode span; that the entire franchise and EVERY SINGLE game has had a huge resurgence of players.
The quick cuts of sounds of disgust just had me cackling on my work break like a mad man. 😂
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
In my opinion this is the best video game adaptation to movie or TV show to this day
"Ah mais c'est quoi ça ?" Hahaha, une très bonne question!
47 yt old wife didnt know anything about the Fallout universe and she LOVED it so much. She was gutted when it was over and can't wait for more!
How could I feel so icky but so entertained...cousin stuff....
It has the tone of a really good dark Alice In Wonderland vibe.
🤣🤣🤣🤣
I mean there's only so many people in the Vaults
Good to see you back Hannah! This show is awesome but that opening scene where the atomic bomb was dropped and his little girl saw it was just terrifying!
It was
@@HannaHsOverInvested I'm hoping we find out she survived like her dad :( Also hope she's not a Ghoul like her dad. lol... Better than dead tho, yeah?
This was so good can’t wait for a season 2
I'm scared of open world games even tho I played a whole 1.5 hours of the Witcher 3.
@@HannaHsOverInvested
Witcher III (and most open work RPGs) are quite slow paced... though in my mind, The Witcher III is nearly perfect; my favourite game.
@@HannaHsOverInvested 8,945 hours in Fallout 4 and 2,683 hrs in Fallout New Vegas :P (I have an excuse though, seriously disabled and open world games let me feel like i can still roam and explore etc)
The games are incredibly deep, interesting TONS of stuff to find, they often use vignettes of dead folk and abandoned places that tell a story themselves
The thing Lucy stuck into herself is a STIMPACK, can heal most wounds in minutes ;)
Accurate with fallout 4 and 76, not 1,2 and NV
Good job show
I love the show and played the *beep* out of the games aswell. Not only are they good at references, but the show is actually canon for the universe and takes place some years after Fallout 4. So good!
Ed:
Fallout 4 - year 2287
Fallout TV - year 2296
This show is considered very good in the community. I’m glad it wasn’t just a retelling of a story we already have heard. It’s an addition to the world the fans already love. It’s a new story set in the same world as the games.
13:13 It's the Rock-It Launcher, or Junk Jet. It's a reverse vacuum type thing that propels every day junk objects as bullets to end the not-death of people
It's called the Rock-It Launcher in fallout 3, while in fallout 4 it's called the Junk Jet. It's a fun and silly weapon to use in both games.
@@TheKrislaf Yepyep!
*Fallout* takes place in an alternate history, after World war 2 things went a bit different.
~Transistors and silicon chips weren't invented until much later than our world, but they had more advanced nuke tech even nuke powered cars, also laser and plasma weapons
~The US politics and culture stagnated, stayed around 1950s, continental states organized into 13 Commonwealths
~Dwindling resources led to wars that destroyed Europe and Middle East with limited nuke war etc, Russia stayed out of it but got got wrecked by chaos/fallout
~China invaded Alaska to get last major oil reserves on Earth, led to a 10 year long bloody stalemate war, broken by US deploying advanced "power armour" and portable mini nuke launchers for their troops
~The Great War lasted on 3 hours, HUGE numbers of mostly "small" nukes set to "ground burst" wrecked the US, added to all the nuke powered equipment in cities, left place irradiated.
~Many mutants due to radiation but also...the "FEV" virus (Forced Evolutionary Virus, too long to go into but a major issue in the games and part of why the Chinese nuked America)
~Ghouls are caused by an unusual mutation, when some Humans were hit by lethal radiation they didn't ' die but became ghouls, they have strange healing factor and aren't affected by aging, so can live centuries, but...the healing factor doesn't work on their skin and brains. Ghouls are often discriminated against by normal Humans
~The Enclave is a mysterious very high tech faction, their agenda and higher up are really evil, been defeated twice in the games
~The Brotherhood of Steel were started just before the nuke war, US soldiers mutinied against evil experiments on civilians, their goal was to prevent abuses of science etc, but over time they got fossilize din outlook, too militaristic, began taking tech by force they thought other folk shouldn't have etc. Small in number but very advanced military tech, some factions are ok, others are aholes
In the Fallout universe they never developed microtechnology, they still use vacuum tubes. That's why their "smartwatch" is still so big ;)
If I was to make a top three best video games turned into movies / TV shows I would say
Fallout
Super Mario
Twisted metal
Im just so happy you're making content again. You were gone for a while, and your absence was felt.
This show was fantastically well made, I was very thoroughly impressed.
Even the weird and awkward parts have really good explanations! I loved this show so much after being so damn worried it would be bad.
That thing she stabbed her self with after getting stabbed with the knife was called a stim. Basically a healing potion for this universe
I'm a huge fallout fan, and the show surpassed my expectations. It has everything that I expect something set in the fallout universe to have. The tone, the characters, the aesthetic, the lore; they nailed it all.
This is an awesome tv show. I am a massive Fallout fan and this lived up to it. Things will connect as you progress.
So you don't understand a game after 10000h
@@lordboreal137 So maybe you can explain what is to understand then, i would love to hear it.
7:15 Probably best to watch with Subtitles especially if you're not familiar with the games lol. She said "raiders" (theyre raiding the vault).
Am I the only one who got caught off-guard when she started goin on about "A glowing one" at the start of the video!?
"Adorable child, Adorable child.. ah she's dead any ways" you got over that fast lol.
(7:17) "...Raiders" (I feel your pain, lol. This is why I have to watch with subtitles on 👍👍)
Only played fallout a little bit before watching the show but I could tell already it was matching the vibe it's a hard thing to do with video games.
Fallout 3: Main Character leaves his vault to find his father, voiced by Liam Neeson (aka Qui-Gon Jinn from Starwars)
Fallout on Amazon: Main Character leaves her vault to find her father, played by Kyle MacLachlan (aka Paul Atreides from David Lynch's Dune)
I just found your channel and have been binging your videos. Non gamer to gamer series has been amazing.
I have a feeling that suspense and mystery both get filed under "confused" in HannaH's head lol
Yeah, and she is supposed to be a writer ? That really don't sell me her books.
Season 1 of Fallout is amazing. Absolutely nails the feeling of the games. Best video game adaptation by far, and the majority of the questions do get answered.
@7:15 .... there's something called "subtitles" that can help you ... hehe ;p
Woot! been waiting for this. :)
Edit: yeah, this totally exceeded expectation.
Definitely gonna check your book out. Been looking for some stories, that aren't the same ones I see every bookstore I go to
long time fallout fan here this show is good way better than i expected, i had very low expectations but this show genuinely surprised me in a good way
The entire 8:00-8:30 + was hilarious
The main girl Lucy is the acress that voices Jinx from Arcane
Actress Ella Purnell, Lucy, is also the voice actress for Jinx from "Arcane".
The show borrows some gameplay elements. The bloody mess perk is in full effect. Stimpacks has unrealistic healing. And in a later episode, a firefight scene resembling VATS… minus the pipboy.
Omg Hannah i missed you! welcome back and I hope you enjoy the show! I sure did as well as the games lol.
I'm pretty happy with the show so far. Kinda dorky at times but it tracks. I'm here for it.
The Vault fight scene and Hannah just "ew ew ew ew ew ew yes ew ew" made me fucking giggle
Heyy, comming from the second episode here to make some notes about stuff that references the games, as I did there
2:28 Yes, it's a wierd future.
It's a perfect adaptation to me. One of if not THE best.
6:10 I love this energy
I'm a giant fan of the games, and TBH, this is the best series I've seen in a very long time.
I'm happy to see Hannah on my timeline again😊
I can't wait for Hannah to CRY in the emotional scenes coming later! Am I some kind of emotion vampire?
Fan of the games here: Nolan and co. nailed it with this series
I'm a massive fallout nerd and I love the show. I think they did a great job. Knowing the games helps you to know about some of the references but isn't necessary to follow the story. So people who don't know anything about the games can also appreciate the show. You should definitely do a letsplay of fallout.
This is the Most Fantastic game world to TV to Show ever filmed IMO. Its Great the entire way thru all 8 ep.
Yes it lived up to the game
Oooh! Hannah doing fallout! Awesome, I think it’s been a while since you’ve reacted to something I’ve seen before
Yes
Loved this adaption and the games. Don't worry about your eyes, you're a beauty like Seyfried and with a mind too. Now with that compliment, I've seen Seyfried compared to Gollum quite a bit.
I think it honors the game very well. It doesn't use any of the stories from the games but it's heavily influenced by the universe. Everything comes together in this by the end
The Fallout games have gotten a boost in sales because of this show, so safe to say it's pretty good. Heck, I bought Fallout 4 myself because it was on sale for 5 bucks.
0:18 here I was thinking you were speaking of a “glowing one” ghoul… cause those are some brutal nasty feral dudes.
This is going to be great :D Im glad i watched it last week. Now I can experience this c:
YES! YES ALL THE WAY!
THIS IS THE WAY!
"Raiders" That's who took over the vault
The show literally follows video game logic so the thing she stabbed herself with is a Stimpak, a healing item from the games used to instantly regen health in games.or..cure any wounds in "reality". Don't expect too much real life accuracy when it comes to healing in Fallout things get blown off and reattached quite often in the Wasteland :D
ayeee I missed seeing this channel. thanks for covering this.
