I love the fact jerry leaves all these old videos up so we can all relive his youtube rise. Its incredible to see the very humble beginnings of his channel.
That pc u built is actually very new and very powerful than my very very very old potato pc which only has 1gb ram and has difficulty operations on windows XP
very cool. nice way to display all the different internals. they look so cool putting them in a case, but then we never see them again until we upgrade . awesome build!
Hallo Jerry. Today i searched together all the parts i need to build this awesome wallmounted PC. Your Video helps me a lot to find out what i need to rebuild this. Nice wishes from Germany and THX again for your Idea and your awesome Video.
I have zero use for this but thought it was mad cool. I love how people can just make stuff like that. I thought your shelf was pretty sweet too. Loved the design of it.
Great video. I have ordered a bunch of stuff because I intend to do this to my rig. I have a traditional computer desk (door for the tower, opening for my monitor) .. I decided to use the empty space behind my monitor. Once I have it boarded up and mounted back there I am going to use finger screws to mount a sheet of plexiglass enclosing the entire thing. Should keep the dust down and the noise down.
Tohtori Valta Thanks man! If you do build it... find a way to ground the components. I am currently having issues with static electricity. One Idea is to take all the screws that are sticking through the back, and connect them with copper wiring to the screws holding the power supply.
JerryRigEverything Will do, I've got a degree in electronics so i'm always really carefull with this stuff. Now I just need to find a way to make this happen with 2 gpu's
Sweet work! I think it would look amazing If you ran all those wires into a brush plate behind the plywood 😊 great job man. I’m using this video to help me build mine.
thats nice work dude. Saw it on reddit. Ive worked a lot with LEDs and plastic, not in this way though so I learned a couple of things. I'm currently building a PC and think this might be a good option to fit it in the project I have for it.
First of all, great video man, I've got some spare acrylic pieces lying around that I'm going to sand down for some illumination as well, but my construction will initially be really basic with cables all over the front... Anyway, just one thing I'd do differently -- @ 7:30 the power supply mount... I'm assuming this is a new PSU under warranty, but in my case I'm reusing an old 500W and my approach will be to take it apart and screw appropriate mounting holes so that it fits flush against the board or acrylic... still I like how sturdy it turned out even if it doesn't look as ideal
Jerry, I really enjoy your videos - it's clear you invest a fair bit of time making them. I'm getting ready to build a computer and came across this video while contemplating building it without a case. 4.5 years later, how did that rig work out for you? One of my main considerations is that I connect and disconnect many SATA drives a week and I want to use the hot swap sata ports directly instead of USB docks.
I like it, but about the only thing I would try to improve on would be to try to make some sort of retention clip mounting system for those drives. Would be easier to replace a failed drive if you could just pull the drive out without having to take the whole board off the wall. Looks nice!
Nice Build! I like the changing colors around all the components... Good to know these PCI cables exist, pretty sure I will need some of them, too... ;-)
Really interesting video, I've been asked to do something similar for the school I work in (I'm an IT Tech). So I shall be subscribing and bookmarking this video for reference!
Hi Jerry Greetings from the other side of the pond. Awesome build mate well done. Gonna use these ideas in my wall mount will post the result and would welcome your thoughts on the build. Keep up the good work and can't wait for number 3
Obviously this is irrelevant since I'm sure you fixed the issue; but shrouding could be a great way of deflecting the rising hot air to the rad/fan setup. Regardless, really cool setup.
Super pumped to build one of my own now! It really looks super great! The plastic thingies you put your components one, what are the name of those and where can I get my hands on similar ones? Once again, super well done and a great vid and tutorial!
Daniel Burman Are you talking about the clear acrylic? (also called plexiglass) I just got mine at Lowes, Home Depot sells it too. (Also the internet probably has some.) Mine was 1/4 inch thick.
Hi Jerry. Great looking build! I am building a new rig for myself, but before I start putting pieces together, I am curious whether the performance of graphics card won't decrease because of flat-mounting (and possibly decreased cooling/airflow)? Don't you think that the other side of the card will get too hot? Let me know what you think, thanks! (Anyone else, feel free to reply, too.)
***** My motherboard has a setting where I can just turn it on with any key press on the keyboard. It also has a power button on the mother board itself. BUT all motherboards should have pins for an external power button that you can install anywhere (Usually preinstalled on a normal case.)
Thanks for the video, very helpful. How did you attach the standoffs for the motherboard to the acrylic? Were they glued into the holes or did you somehow make threaded holes?
hi just wondering how much the total cost for just 'case' not including actual pc parts? Also did the original daisy chained pci cables work before the plasti-dip? thanks, really useful video! :-)
Hey Jerry, I love your video. I want to make one for my Gaming PC but I have a question. How did you manage to screw drives so perfect? How did you measure that where screws are going to? E.g. Hard drive and Mobo. How did you get that where drives are going to screw in acrylic? If you make another video showing how to fit stand offs and drives so I'll be very thankful to you. Thanks.
Love the video. Thank you so much for sharing. My question is: did you score the bottom of the plexi for light distribution or did you cut deep into the plexi? It appears that you scratched the underside nic and thick. Please advice if you simply do a wide scratch or cut into it? You mention groove in the center of each plexi.
+JerryRigEverything thank you. I will use my dremel for that then. I dont have a table saw but i do have a miter saw. Miter is not a good candidate. I will use either my dremel or rotary tool.
JerryRigEverything hello Jerry, thanks agin for your previous reply. I finally had some free time to resume my desktop build. my question is why diaganol grooves on plexi and some just horizontal, is it because of wire amd bracket mounting points that dictated the directional grooves?
Get some hifi speakers! They are really great sounding and all you need is an amp to power them :) don't go nuts though, up to $800 for a pair should be grand.
I'm not saying buy 1600 dollar speakers, I'm saying get ones half that price. Get what you can afford, I absolutely agree, and it isn't high tech standards - the technology is quite old. The quality of sound you get from cheapy speakers is entirely different than that of even 400 hi-fi speakers. Even second hand ones bought from a thrift shop for 200 are better than these. We are on the same page, don't spend a shit ton of money on something if you can't afford it - but get quality above all else, yeah?
I'm wondering how you safely mounted the GPU? I just got a graphics card in and knowing how you mounted the GPU would really help before I start unscrewing things off of a 1070 lol
:-) I'm impressed! One day (mainly if I have the patience and the motivation) I might try to do something similar :-) Have you had any issues with the pieces grounding due to your screws (with and without the electrical tape covering them) ?
Mohamed Hafiz Just make sure your graphics card is capable of handling multiple screens. I know mine can handle at least 4 screens. (Maybe 6) Its been awhile since I checked specs on it though.
Hi awesome video and wall pc build. I am currently doing one aswell and just wanted to ask if your V groove in your acrylic is front or back to spread the lighting?
usually i just cut the top, and back off a case, leave the side panel off, screw it to the wall with really long screws (in case you miss a stud you get a second chance) and voila! doesnt look as good though... nice work sir.
Hey Jerry, thanks for the video! I've been thinking of making a wall mount of my own and your step by step instructions really helped flesh out the idea in my head! Could you elaborate a bit more on the "v shaped notches" that you made on the acrylic right above the LEDs though? The ones that you said were to help spread out the light? I didn't really catch what you meant by that.
+Untitled Dot_V Yea, just the other day I found a wall mounted set up like this one on the street! It was air cooled so I didn't even bother picking it up lol.
+AFTER DARK Uh, you might want to actually READ yourself. He has a webpage describing all the parts he used. www.amazon.com/gp/product/B009SJR3GS/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B009SJR3GS&linkCode=as2&tag=three04-20&linkId=J4KKAYXJWU45R3LF.
Were you able to have your power supply reach all the components with the stock psu or did you have to buy extension cords? That's my main concern that the PSU lines won't be long enough when I build mine
anyone else from the Redmi k20 pro teardown video???
Yup
Yes yes
The pilgrim Jerry has come a long way...
Oh yeah.
yep
I love the fact jerry leaves all these old videos up so we can all relive his youtube rise. Its incredible to see the very humble beginnings of his channel.
real nice build got me tempted to have a go my self with a full custom loop
That pc u built is actually very new and very powerful than my very very very old potato pc which only has 1gb ram and has difficulty operations on windows XP
K20 Pro teardown brought me here. This RGB wall-mounted PC is glorious!
very cool. nice way to display all the different internals. they look so cool putting them in a case, but then we never see them again until we upgrade . awesome build!

+Hendrik Reimertshofer Have fun with your project! good luck!
I call that "genius" never thought of something like this before. Well done mate
Jovi Lim Thanks man!
I have zero use for this but thought it was mad cool. I love how people can just make stuff like that. I thought your shelf was pretty sweet too. Loved the design of it.
Danny Diamond Thanks! I really enjoy making these things and comments like yours encourage me to do more.

Man! That shelf you made is incredible! So so awesome. I want one so bad
Nice job, your camera work has definitely improved since then.
New subscriber here from the Philippines. Your wall mount PC is pretty impressive. Nice Job over there. Keep inspiring!
holy crap now i absolutely have to build something like this, nice job man!

Turn your wall mount 90o degrees to left and you will can hide your cables better. Good work!
thats nice work dude. Saw it on reddit. Ive worked a lot with LEDs and plastic, not in this way though so I learned a couple of things. I'm currently building a PC and think this might be a good option to fit it in the project I have for it.
Ben Stokes That would be awesome man, make sure to post pics!
We expect more videos like this!! Rather than looping on same content!
You have gone so far man 🔥 blessed!
I loved that man! Very cool idea. Congratulations!
I really like this idea
Slick build. Great job.
+Aditya Rathee Thanks man.
Who came from the redmi k20 video??
hello there
Wonderful work, i didn't knwo you're a craftsman too
holy shit nice build! And the shelf is rocking too ;)
+diggi Hey thanks! I'm glad you like them!
From JerryiCan'tHereAnything to JerryRigEverything.. He has come a long way
Edit: it seems like he doesn't age, this video's from 2014!!
What a amazing work. Congrats!
Awesome !!
Now if I only had any talent I would do this myself too, oh well can't have everything ;)
A great project. I was looking for a flat PC build and found you
Great stuff man. Really Impressive. ( I Watched it all )
Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Use some modular sleeved cables. Will bend easily
found your post on build a pc reddit, i subscribed looks like some pretty epic stuff on your channel
Kody Smith Thanks man! Hopefully I can keep you entertained. Let me know if you have any ideas!
I like it, but about the only thing I would try to improve on would be to try to make some sort of retention clip mounting system for those drives. Would be easier to replace a failed drive if you could just pull the drive out without having to take the whole board off the wall. Looks nice!
Very well done!! You gave me some great ideas!
Thanks for the video, links & great ideas! Keep up the great work!!
John Waclawski Thanks man! Glad you enjoyed it.
Nice Build! I like the changing colors around all the components... Good to know these PCI cables exist, pretty sure I will need some of them, too... ;-)
+StefansHolzwerkstatt They are pretty awesome. Expensive.... but they work.
Time for the bend test !
Epic indeed! Where is it now i wonder?
Saw one of you Amazon reviews for a Crucial SSD from 2014. Came to see.
that was so amazing, thanks a lot for sharing this kind of video
You need to build a new version of this!
MORE RGB!!!
Awesome build! I've never seen PCI cables like you used to connect your graphics card to your mob.
+Glen England Hey thanks! Im glad you enjoyed it.
This was really cool!
I do like how the psu is above the cpu so you can understand amount of voltage rendered overclocked and watercooled.
very awesome , i will make one of these one day , simply beautifulk
Kattdle Kennedy Hey thanks! Glad you enjoyed it!
Amazing man...i m thinking to build one in the same way
Pretty epic duct tapping indeed
Really interesting video, I've been asked to do something similar for the school I work in (I'm an IT Tech). So I shall be subscribing and bookmarking this video for reference!
You have been genius from long time ago 👍👌👌
very helpful, thank you! looks awesome !
great build! you should seriously consider making these commercially available. You'd make a killing imo
Beautiful wall mounted build dude! Shoulda water cooled the video card though! ;)
Hi Jerry Greetings from the other side of the pond.
Awesome build mate well done.
Gonna use these ideas in my wall mount will post the result and would welcome your thoughts on the build.
Keep up the good work and can't wait for number 3
+andy spymaker Heck ya! Let me know when you post it. Email works best, you can find my email address in the 'about' page of my youtube channel.
Epic indeed.., It is just super awesome
Joao Victor Prado Thanks man! I had a ton of fun making it.
This is Insane!!!!!!! I love it!!!!
If you ever have to cut acrylic with a table saw again , then put the blade on backwards and it will give you a cleaner cut.
Where did you get the cable connecting the graphics card?
Andre Swarts Check out my blog post and parts list. It came from Digikey
So zack is a PCMR nut? count me the fuck in! durability test computers!
That's amazing great job!
Obviously this is irrelevant since I'm sure you fixed the issue; but shrouding could be a great way of deflecting the rising hot air to the rad/fan setup. Regardless, really cool setup.
+Josh Johnson Good idea. I actually just kept using it. It never got over 74c-75c under full load. I am just going to get a bigger radiator next time.
(Also the internet probably has some.) Mine was 1/4 inch thick.
dude is so good man
SCponyo Thanks!
Hi looks wicked , do you need acrylic or did you do the acrylic just for the led lighting behind it ? can i make this just out of wood?
Hi Jerry. Great looking build!
I am building a new rig for myself, but before I start putting pieces together, I am curious whether the performance of graphics card won't decrease because of flat-mounting (and possibly decreased cooling/airflow)? Don't you think that the other side of the card will get too hot?

(Anyone else, feel free to reply, too.)
I'de like to see this redux-ed. Whats the new setup look like? Still on the wall?
Wow nice work! Especially using the plexiglass to spread the light of the strips is a great idea! But how do you turn on your pc actually? :P
***** My motherboard has a setting where I can just turn it on with any key press on the keyboard. It also has a power button on the mother board itself. BUT all motherboards should have pins for an external power button that you can install anywhere (Usually preinstalled on a normal case.)
Awesome Video!!!!
nice video man
About to do the same 😎👍 awesome help
Thanks for the video, very helpful.
How did you attach the standoffs for the motherboard to the acrylic? Were they glued into the holes or did you somehow make threaded holes?
This looks awesome! How are the acoustics?
The64bitglasses You mean fan volume? Its completely silent for normal use. When I am rendering the fans do kick on, but thats normal.
Nice build and awesome shelf! Could you do a build guide on the shelf? XD
+Cessnex Sure thing! Check it out! Its an old video of mine...: ua-cam.com/video/Dv3TgzbsFQU/v-deo.html
JerryRigEverything Awesome! thanks man!
How do you mounted the graphics card on the acrylic plate, because i thougt every holte is use by the cooler of the card and which screws did you use?
Maybe he just glued it lol
Sick! Wish I had the money, and talent to create that for myself. One day. Lol
Nbbad82 Thanks!
That's something im definitely going to do in the future. Are there detailed lists of what I'm going to need to build my own computer?
Kyle Parker Ya! Check on my blog post JerryRigEverything.com I talk about what parts specifically you need.
hi just wondering how much the total cost for just 'case' not including actual pc parts? Also did the original daisy chained pci cables work before the plasti-dip? thanks, really useful video! :-)
Hey Jerry, I love your video. I want to make one for my Gaming PC but I have a question.

Awesome! Can you tell me what Thickness String did you use for the Polycarbonate Sheet?
Love the video. Thank you so much for sharing. My question is: did you score the bottom of the plexi for light distribution or did you cut deep into the plexi? It appears that you scratched the underside nic and thick. Please advice if you simply do a wide scratch or cut into it? You mention groove in the center of each plexi.
The V shaped grove in the center of the plexy is thick. About half way through the glass.
+JerryRigEverything thank you. I will use my dremel for that then. I dont have a table saw but i do have a miter saw. Miter is not a good candidate. I will use either my dremel or rotary tool.
JerryRigEverything hello Jerry, thanks agin for your previous reply. I finally had some free time to resume my desktop build. my question is why diaganol grooves on plexi and some just horizontal, is it because of wire amd bracket mounting points that dictated the directional grooves?
i loved this build so much, im thinking about building one for my self, just a little smaller and non led :)
was it fun with all the work? :)
herbert fernando It was awesome! I plan on building another with my next computer as well.
sounds great! you earned you're self a sub ;)
with friendly regards from Norway :)
Great setup, looks wonderful, but those speakers hurt my soul.
IronGuitarist Lol, any recommendations?
Get some hifi speakers! They are really great sounding and all you need is an amp to power them :) don't go nuts though, up to $800 for a pair should be grand.

Looks nice! Any problems with dust? Noise levels? How about those two hard drives - any overheating problems?
Andris Zarins Temperatures are all in a normal range, And it is probably as quiet as my laptop is... watercooling is really nice that way.
thanks, ever considered lifting those hdd up a bit? I have bad karma with hdd's lol... and they look like migh be overheating a bit if bothered a lot
They hardly ever work, as the operating system is actually on the SSD. So I shouldn't have any issues.
JerryRigEverything Any dust issues? how long have you been running this rig?
Its been running for about a month. It will probably accumulate dust over time... but a can of airdust will take care of that im sure.
hi jerry. It`s really cool setup. I`m planing to build one. but using 3 tv's, would you have any suggestion on the graphic card,
Mohamed Hafiz Just make sure your graphics card is capable of handling multiple screens. I know mine can handle at least 4 screens. (Maybe 6) Its been awhile since I checked specs on it though.
Hi awesome video and wall pc build. I am currently doing one aswell and just wanted to ask if your V groove in your acrylic is front or back to spread the lighting?
Leaving a message cuz I want to know too! Want to know if its a cut or just a groove.
+Christopher Abnett maybe its a bit late, and im not the op, but it is definitely on the back side which faces the leds
usually i just cut the top, and back off a case, leave the side panel off, screw it to the wall with really long screws (in case you miss a stud you get a second chance) and voila! doesnt look as good though... nice work sir.
ROG phone anyone ?
lol me
Me
Lol me
scratches at a level 6 and a deeper groove at a level 7
The copper vent is just a decoration
Hey Jerry, thanks for the video! I've been thinking of making a wall mount of my own and your step by step instructions really helped flesh out the idea in my head! Could you elaborate a bit more on the "v shaped notches" that you made on the acrylic right above the LEDs though? The ones that you said were to help spread out the light? I didn't really catch what you meant by that.
Nice job!!! that looks amazing :O how much was everything? i mean the grand total for that build?
To be honest, most of this stuff I would find laying around XD
Except for the LED strips, which you could probably get for £10 :P
+Untitled Dot_V Yea, just the other day I found a wall mounted set up like this one on the street! It was air cooled so I didn't even bother picking it up lol.
cool job, crazy look i like it ;)
I would like to make something similar to this. Any updates or lessons learned you can share that you'd implement into a new version?
Love it... what wood did you use for the base ??
who came from the go pro video
Khaled Allan me
Me lol
me
me
me
Sweet build man.. I would totally steal that idea off you but ill'd water cool it ;)..
+knownuser09 Uh...this is a water cooled rig. The fan is sitting on a radiator with hoses going to the CPU cooler....
+Glen England Mainly air cooled if you have eyes to see with ah.. maybe open them up a little more..
+Glen England I don't call a aio unit water cooling.. lmao.
+AFTER DARK Uh, you might want to actually READ yourself. He has a webpage describing all the parts he used. www.amazon.com/gp/product/B009SJR3GS/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B009SJR3GS&linkCode=as2&tag=three04-20&linkId=J4KKAYXJWU45R3LF.
i know as i said its an aio unit.
Nice work man..
question: how did you do the V shape groove?
V bit and a router
dude thats amazing. how did you build the shelf?
cash4medaily It was made out of one sheet of plywood. Check out this video: ua-cam.com/video/Dv3TgzbsFQU/v-deo.html I explain everything.
Were you able to have your power supply reach all the components with the stock psu or did you have to buy extension cords? That's my main concern that the PSU lines won't be long enough when I build mine
first off really nice job man, where did you get the PCI-e cable from, ive been looking but can only find short ones?
John Dizzil I got mine from a company called DigiKey
thanks, ill have a look, cant wait to start building mine :)
