Thanks for the comparison to the Rebel V2, helps me know that the lack of torsional rigidity will aggravate my posterior tib. Probably why I love the Adios 6.

Might be a rare time when we have slightly different views on this one. I liked the Streakfly but did not find it any game changer and, for me, the NEXT% 2 definitely did better at all my paces from easy warm up pace, through my marathon pace for about 5K to some my 5K/10K pace 3 min intervals. That is both on "feel" and in the "numbers" for my shoeoff video. True that the price of the Streakfly is a lot lower (well when it restocks!) but I already have the NEXT% as would many of our viewers so perhaps the question is more the reverse - do you need the Streakfly as well. If you have neither what is the better one to go for. I think "it depends" is the likely answer. Tempo NEXT% & Rebel v2 never did anything much for me so will take the Streakfly for sure. Less clear on Takumi Sen 8 as that did pretty well for me although still preferred the NEXT% and annoyingly my usual problem of being a fraction short in the largest UK 12.5. As for outsoles well it rarely is something that bothers me in road race shoes as been a while since fallen over in one - if ever. I have done muddy trail TTs in the NEXT% you showed so both the Streakfly and NEXT% v2 on a fairly flat country lane with the odd muddy patch that I did my testing on Sunday saw no issues at all although interesting that they did change it up here.

I don’t have either next% or streakfly, but I am considering them as an option for my racing shoes. The longest race is so would be 10k, so I am not sure which one to buy, I am currently going towards the streakfly because of its price. However it may not be either depending on the streakfly durability

Not sure I find the streakfly game changing. Just a fun and comfortable ride which left me enjoying my running with some good varied paces and a lower heart rate than other shoes. As such for £135 it’s a steal.

I got a pair of streakfly that should arrive today....since many of you on youtube seem to prefer the Next% that is my current race shoe, and since I do not run many 10ks and I have bought them just for that purpose, I mayreturn them straight away without even try them..probably a money waste for me and an impulse buy

Many many people still do not train in the "supershoes". Whilst the streak is being marketed as a 5k/10k, in practice im seeing it lending itself and a training shoe AND a racer for those that dont want a carbon plate and 40mm stack for every race. We are out there. Lets not forget the vaporfly was never intended for shorter distances but I believe nike did the right thing by reducing the price and the shank. They havent made a vaporfly with less stack. Theyve made a different shoe with I believe a very different purpose. Sure you can go ahead and put the vaporfly on every day for all runs and races.... Should you though. Do we all want to??? I'd argue no.

Will be using the streakflys for workouts whereas for my 5k races on course with pavement, will be using the Vaporfly. The extra zoom foam and the carbon plate is a game changer for speed.

Not sure if it’s the ride or the pace but I just don’t get the same aches when running in non carbon shoes. Have high hopes for these when I can lay my hands on them 🙏

Been thinking as I read the comments streakfly v vapor fly , carbon plate v non carbon, price etc and the Atreyu artist came to mind. Very affordable ( $100u.s.) granted, it doesn’t seem to have the pop of the vapor fly but still a very smooth comfortable carbon plated shoe. It appears to be a versatile option for training and racing up to marathon distance. I think It could be a happy medium between a vapor fly and the streakfly when considering compression and road feel. Thought I’d add my two cents on a shoe that flys under the radar.

Interesting experience and feedback...as always Edd👍 It will be interesting to see where (if) you would use this as your go-too shoe for a given race distance (eg....would it be preferable over 5k to the NN%2 or ATS8) or is it superior to these on fast workouts or threshold efforts against these and other shoes eg Saucony Pro/Speed.....Will it end up being a really nice light shoe for speed orientated sessions but not quite the pinnacle choice when comes to racing? Glad it's a chunk off the TS8 price though!!...........................interesting to see how it pans out as Tim and Alex F had very similar experiences, with you and Andy having a different, but again similar experience...... so think it will be one of those Marmite ones....at 135 quid though, it'll be hard to resist a throw of the dice. 😁

Great comparison but for once I disagree with you, at first pass I don’t think the Streakfly feels that special or feels more versatile than the Rebel V2 which can be used daily, tempo & for HMs. It’s okay value wise but again not as good as the Rebel V2 that can be had for less than 100 Earth credits.

It was on my list of possible shoes..from reviews it seems to lack the forefoot stack and the structure to make a fast race shoe..it takes a good midsole structure to not bottom out during a fast 5k ..the rebel V1,razor 3, asics sky..as an aside question has anyone tried the next%V2 by you with the flyknit upper? I really don't like the standard upper and the outsole and I see you can make it very much like the vaporfly 4%..have never seen a review of it..

Non sembra proprio una scarpa da gara 5/10 km .
l’impressione è che sia una buona opzione per allenamenti distanza media . Non pensò che le acquisterò .
