That was some good comedy Miriam not knowing it was keto chow. I am getting a regular ice cream maker today. UPS is playing, lets see how far we can get from my street. They get close since I am tracking and then they go way off to the distance. I will get it some time today.

I had just given up on keto ice cream because it just wasn't tasty enough to bother with. Then came keto chow! Total game changer. My whole family loves keto chow ice cream and I'm the only keto person in the house. Love that I can have a no guilt dessert that is also full of protein and tastes amazing!!! Oh, and we just had Orange Cream KC ice cream for dessert!

OK ya talked me into buying Keto Chow--I use your electrolyte drops already, but taking the plunge. My fav is Maria (Mind and Body) recipe : 1 cup unsweetened almond milk; 1 cup heavy cream; 8 egg yolks; 1 tablesp extract of choice; I 1/4 - 1/2 c erythritol (powered is best), couple drops of stevia, 1 tsp guar gum and add-ins of choice. I make it Cuisinart old school ice cream maker.

I have tried some of these - including Rebel, Halo Top and Enlightened. Even doing net carbs, some of the ingredients are sketchy and the texture is a little off-putting. Since finding KETO CHOW, it's the only ice cream I eat. There are SO many yummy flavors. The Ninja Creami delivers perfect texture - or the Vitamix makes a fantastic "frosty".
I agree. It is not hard to fancy them up either.

I used to eat one or two pints of Keto ice cream a year. I would always eat the whole pint. I finally decided it wasn't worth it. So I don't have a favorite, but when I was eating ice cream it was Rebel.

Can’t wait to try the new Chocolate Keto Chow!!! Not surprised that the ingredients in Breyers and others are not good. I don’t eat any packaged Keto ice cream at all. I have had some Vegan ice cream that I like (my son can’t have lactose). I wish Ben & Jerry’s would come out with a Keto ice cream that had clean ingredients. Until then I will eat my Keto Chow with no guilt and enjoy it.

Great idea! It is basically the same exact process, though. First, make the Keto Chow core using warm water and a blender. Then, freeze the pint and use the Creami. Respin until desired creaminess is achieved.

I find Breyers has a weird aftertaste. I used to eat enlightened or halo but only certain flavours. The corn fibre upset my stomach and I would eat the whole container in one sitting. Ketochow is way better - better flavours, no aftertaste. The only thing is that I eat it so fast my mouth freezes and I get butter on my teeth and roof of my mouth lol (totally a me problem… I should eat slower lmao) ❤
My Cuisinart 2qrt doesn't work for kc ice cream and I'm waiting for the ninja creami deluxe. I can get a compressor machine here in 2 days do you think the compressor ice cream maker is a good alternative? I want Ice cream so much during the summer. 😢

I am sticking with the keto chow. The few total carbs, the better. I do like the rebel as well and they have a the bargain outlet here for 1.99 but I stay away because I have a hard time eat just 1 serving of it.

My favorite is definitely Keto Chow too. My body doesn’t agree with many of the artificial sweeteners in store bought keto ice cream. I like that you can control the fat content and therefore the calories of keto chow ice cream. Most of the time I only add 1 tablespoon of Kerry gold salted butter so I can have a whole pint as a snack. If I want to enjoy it as a full meal, I just add more butter.

Do you just mixed it up like regular and then pour in the container to freeze?
Yes
We usually mix 4 up in the blender then put them in 4 ninja containers. So they have less water than a shake would. But they sure are yummy.
What is the “right” ingredient to make it creamy and not icy? Steve from serious keto gave some kind of gum but it’s not found here locally and it was expensive for only a small amount (like 2 grams or something) I do not have a creami.
@pambo101 we don't add anything extra, just regular keto chow but we do run it on the lite ice cream setting twice and respin once or twice until it's the right consistency

I kind of wish you had tested all the same flavor, like vanilla or chocolate. That said, based on total carbs and ease making it, I will stick to Keto Chow or a made from scratch recipe.
