🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀Happy St. Patrick’s Day every one…especially if you are Irish!🍀🍀
I first saw UA-cam video a year ago for the Ninja Creami 🍨and it took me 10 months to decide to purchase the appliance. The hesitation was due to the fact I already own the $600.00 Cuisinart ice cream maker with built in freezer. 🍨🍨🍨🍨🍨
    But the CREAMi is unique.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
    I turn my Bulletproof coffee☕into a creamy dessert! 🎉🎉🎉
Then I turned to making the smoothest Ninja Creami base….inspired by a Ninja Recipe
    4 ounces cream cheese
    4 eggs🥚🥚🥚🥚
1 tsp NOW STEVIA POWDER (equals 1 cup sugar)
    Tiny pinch salt
1 tsp Lor Ann fruit extract…. Pick your own flavour🍏🍐🍊🍋🫐🍓🍇🍉🍌
Water to fill to the pint line on the smaller ninja ice cream cups.🥭🍍🍒🍑
    Freeze.🧊🧊🧊🧊🧊
24 hours later spin the ice cream base in the CREAMi! Enjoy!
    ****
    OR
Same recipe as above replacing 4-5 tbsp melted 🧈butter for the cream cheese!
    Pick your flavour 🍏🍊🍎🍐🍋🍌🍉🍇🍓🫐🍍🥭🍑🍒 + ☕coffee
Just add instant coffee to taste, stevia powder to sweeten and lots of cinnamon!😁
Eat the whole pint batch for a high fat day…for only about 700 calories!
And almost no carbs at all!
The 🧈butter/egg🥚ninja recipe is from Ketogenic Woman, Anita.🇨🇦
I read a keto blog yesterday that reported the #1 mistake people make on the keto
diet is NOT EATING ENOUGH FAT! So, if that is what is preventing us from losing
weight….it is high time you purchase a Ninja Creami! 🍨🍨🍨🍨🍨 And eat ice cream so delicious that costs Pennie’s compared to commercially made keto ice cream that will blow you away! 🍏🍎🍐🍊🍋🍌🍉🍇🍓🫐🍒🍑🥭🍍🥝🥥🍫
If we cannot eat fruit on keto…let us taste it in our ice cream…or in our Dr. Davis Yogurt!🫙

"pint" == 1.75 pint, that's logical to me =) When the containers are only half full it tends to be more powdery because the top has somewhere to escape from the blade, when the container is completely full it can't get away and gets made super creamy - that's likely the main reason for the difference between the two.

Maybe that's why my creamis are less creamy now and more icy... I make 2 servings divided between 3 creami cups. That automatically leaves room for mix-ins. Sometimes, it'll even make the hole for me! 😉

  • @amandaberofsky
    @amandaberofsky Рік тому +6

I was surprised you all liked the chocolate peanut butter without added sweetener. I think you'll love it even more with allulose. Some flavors need more sweetener than others. Tip: write down how much sweetener you add for each flavor for future reference. It's really expensive and time-consuming to test each one. Also, I didn't know you could do two servings in one cup with the deluxe. I thought that extra room was for adding liquids after the fact. I don't need to double it, but it's nice to know I don't have to be so exact at that bottom line.

from the KC latest youtube1 month ago.. How to make Keto Chow Step-by-Step easy to follow instructions which by the way was really good reminders on how to mix CK... anyway saw this remark from Serious Keto
When I'm just doing single packets for ice cream (instead of scoops), I'll put my 1/4 tsp of tara gum into the open packet of Keto Chow (along with 1/2-1 tsp of allulose) and gently mix that in the packet with the measuring spoon before adding to the blender. Tara gum (and most gums) can clump, so dispersing it in the Keto Chow is my insurance against that.
The allulose serves two purposes: 1) Cold numbs our sensitivity to sweetness, so the allulose adds a bit of sweetness; and 2) allulose can inhibit ice crystal formation, and ice crystals in your ice cream is the enemy of creaminess.

I have found that spinning half full pints is harder to get the consistency good. it seems to fluff up more and be more powdery and take more respins. That might be some of the difference between your 2 flavors. Chocolate peanut butter also has a different texture than all the other KC flavors because it has peanut butter powder. I have also found I like the texture and bigger flavor punch when I use 1.25 servings of KC. It really changes the texture and make it more flavorful. Also, if you like soft serve, after the first or second spin but the lid back on and put it in warm water from the sink for 3 minutes and then one last re spin. makes it like soft serve

I made a lot of Keto Chow ice cream last summer, probably will again this summer. Definitely prefer it with heavy cream. My favorite flavor was the butterfinger flavor hack where you use half chocolate peanut butter and half chocolate toffee. I use raw eggs in my ice cream mixture for the Ninja. I know it sounds gross. It sounded gross to me when I learned about it from the Ketogenic Woman. But I decided to give it a try and it blew me away! You don't know there's raw eggs in there and it gives ice cream a richness that no store bought or non egg ice cream can hold a candle to. And you are right about the allulose making it smooth, but I found that with eggs, I can use anything to sweeten it, such as truvia, monkfruit stevia blend, or just a generous squirt of stevia glycerite, and get the same smooth result.

People have been making stove-top egg custard, cooling it, and then freezing it in an ice cream maker for many, many years. I vote yes to egg custard and no to raw eggs because of the danger of salmonella contamination from raw eggs. It's not that hard to learn how to make an egg custard and it truly is delicious!

It is so fun to watch their excitement - who doesn't get excited for ice cream! Fav flavors: Chocolate Hazelnut, Salted Caramel, Caramel Macchiato, Pistachio...not many I don't like! I've never used the tara gum and since I know you have these things in your pantry already, I thought I would share my favorite way to make the keto chow ice cream in the Creami: 15 oz warm water, 1 Tsp Beef Gelatin, 4 Tbsp Butter Powder and 1 packet or 1 scoop of KC. I don't have a Vitamix so I use an immersion blender. I pour about 1/3 of the warm water into a pitcher, add the gelatin and let sit for about a minute, add the butter powder, add the KC and then pour remaining water over (breaks up clumps a bit). Use the immersion blender to mix well and pour into the Creami container. The 15 oz. water and other ingredients fill the container right to the max fill line. I've used both HWC and butter but have found the flavor seems more enhanced with butter and a little better mouth fill over HWC. Will have to give the tara gum a try but I would guess it's about the same as using the gelatin? I used to melt the butter from a cube, but found the powder is so much easier! Honestly, any way you make it is good and I know your family will continue to enjoy it and I'm sure you'll continue to experiment! Thanks for sharing your family fun and kitchen with us!

If you do lemon meringue, add a couple true lemon packets to it, and melt some white chocolate with some coconut oil to make your own magic shell, and you could do any number of mix ins that go well with lemon. Any kind of berry, maybe some crystallized (in allulose) ginger that has been diced or minced, a keto graham cereal, so many options.

The 'pint' containers for the new deluxe model are bigger than the original model. I saw a video comparison by WTF (we transform food) that is a good feature. I don't like waiting either, but even the other type of ice cream maker has to be frozen first. I usually add sweetener to KC. Hint...wipe the spindle between spins.

Vanilla Almond Milk, Protein Powder, Unsweetened Cocoa Powder and Vanilla ?Extract. I mixed up a batch in my blender and put it in the freezer. I hope it taste as good as yours. Judging by Levi's and Renae's reaction, I'm sure it is going to be a winner. I'm sure that any flavor that you try is going to be delicious. Thanks for sharing.

took me a while to find it since links are broken ...but it is basically a flavored whey protein powder mixed with cashew milk and she adds xanthan gum but I think that makes things taste slimy so the tip from serious keto and CH to use the tara gum is not slimy and it really keeps the ice crystals making it creamier I use the Syntrax powders. and those i like.... not a CH fan, the flavors seem so bland to me...I tried all about 120.00 of flavors and decide that it was not something I would add to my way of eating... but I found that in making CH you need to really emulsify the fat you use well ... was not a fan of the mouth feel from the coating of the fats... and I did like the HWC best also ... i know people who use avocado oil and sour cream besides the butter and they add sweeteners to the ice cream
