I wanted to film my first time using the Katool KT-2002. Im not going to lie, I was a bit intimidated because I have never changed a tire, but this machine proved my indimidation wrong. I wish I would have had this years ago!
I needed one of these about a week ago.
I feel ya! These are one of those machines that most DIY mechanics don't need every day, but when you do need one, it's a great little machine to have handy! This one is fairly small, which is one of the main features that drew me to it. I didn't have a ton of room, or money for that matter, and this fit the bill perfectly! Thanks for the view and comment, if you enjoy this sort of content a sub and like would be awesome, it's totally free and it helps me a ton! Thanks again brother!
Looks like a nice little machine. The price isn't too bad either. Compared to buying a harbor freight and modifying it with a duck bill attachment probably about the same amount of money. Nice job
Thanks Mike!
The tire machine looks pretty good who manufactures it and where can I get it at? Good job thank you for sharing that.
@@WilliamAguilar-v7m there's a link in the description if you're interested. The brand is Katool model KT-2002. Thanks for the watch, please sub if you like the content!
Remember to only use the outer holes on the turntable!
@Toolchoice26 Great advice! I'm still figuring this guy out! Thanks for the view, I would love a sub if you enjoy this type of content! Merry Christmas, brother!
Still following. The machine looks compact and still useful...
Thanks for the view, comment and follow! My landscaping business doesn't do much in the Winter here in Indiana so I'll be continuing to pump out videos every few days! Let me know if there are any videos you would like to see me make or products that you would like me to talk about!
What did you use to adapt the air line to your compressor
@@patrickfagnan4033 That's a really good question! I actually ordered this air splitter off Temu for a completely different project and because of the air connections being Chinese it didn't work for me so I put it in my drawer. The splitter was two (Chinese connection) females to a Chinese connection male. Fortunately I was able to remove the male because it threaded in and I replaced it with an American connection, this having two Chinese female connections to a single American connection giving me the ability to snap the tire machine line into one of the Chinese female connections and connect my female from my air compressor into the male of my new little hybrid connector. Hopefully this makes sense. You can DM me and I can try to send you some pictures and more info if need be. I think I'll make an additional video about this as you're not the first to ask. It was pure luck for me that I was able to make it work out of the gate! Thanks for the view, I'd love a sub.
how large of a compressor does this require?
I am using a 6 gallon 175 PSI oilless air compressor from HF. I did actually try it with a small 3 gallon panacke compressor that maxed out at 125 psi, and though it was a bit slow to push that bead breaker, it did work. I also tried running it with my 30 gallon 175 psi compressor and I really didn't notice much difference between that and my 6 gallon. There is a black tank that is part of the tire changer that holds air, and as long as that is full, the bead breaker will work. That's definitely a great feature of this little machine! Thanks a lot for the view and please sub if you're a fan of these types of videos!
