I just realized that somehow Brawl calling himself Devastator earlier in the movie slipped through the cracks of production and made it into the final film
To be fair devastator also has a large arsenal of weapons like brawl, you can't see it on film, but what you can see is multiple machine guns firing along with rockets exploding trying to fend skids and mudflap, and from the looks of it, only mudflap had a gun, skids didn't
As I understood it Devistator was the code name incase of the films leak. The subtitles were finished half hour before the films premiere and someone forgot to change Devistator text to Brawl.
Brawl is like that one player in a online multiplayer game who rely on characters who are defensive over offensive by stats since he eat up so many shots until he's finally down

He was a literal tank compared to all of his clones that we saw in the next few movies. Like how in transformers 3. You could see that there's one of him standing there shooting at Optimus before being shot once in the shoulder and just dying instantly (might have been the chest) but this guy took several shots from ironhide's main cannons plus the missiles attached to the left. One was shot six times in the chest by jazz five times by ratchet had his left arm cut off by ratchet was shot from what I was able to confirm by all of the scenes of the military shooting him at least 33 m32 rotary grenade launcher rounds, plus five rockets from bumblebee (apparently he had shoulder rockets that just never got used besides that one scene) and took at least 12 to 20 shots from bumblebee before finally dying to a direct shot in his spark Dude was the definition of "you're up against the wall and I am the fucking wall"

I cannot believe that some people prefer Cade Yeager (Mark Wahlberg) over Sam Witwickey. (Shia Labeouf) Sure! Sam was no tough guy, but he was pretty intelligent. I was kinda hoping they took Brawls role and made it Blitzwing instead, which would've been unfortunate as it would've made him a one off character, or not if there was better writing and directing where he would potentially make a return
Man there is a lot of awful things in this movie but this battle feels like the one time we really got to see them ll on both sides transforming and fighting each other. Jazz jumping onto the tank and kicking it’s ass forcing him to transform felt like it’s how the fights should have gone in all the movies. I truly hate that as the movies go on they made the transformers fight with guns like humans instead of kicking each others ass and using their transformations.
Brawl took all the heat by Jazz and ironhide and Ratchet and Bumblebee. Brawl lived up to his name. What I don't understand is that, Ironhide has better weapons than Bee. How did he miss every single shot at Brawl?! It took Bee 12 or so shots for the spark chamber while moving, and Ironhide couldn't get 1 shot. For a weapons expert, he sure sucked as marksman.
Shame that later they just make Decepticons cannon fodder. Brawl put up more of a fight than most cons because the writers decided to make the autobots more baddass fighters.

This fight would’ve been very different if Optimus had made it the same time they did for sure.

Devastator in the movie but many comic, toy and other media refer him as brawl which ends up being his main name most of the bayverse part of transformers

I was kinda hoping they took Brawls role and made it Blitzwing instead, which would've been unfortunate as it would've made him a one off character, or not if there was better writing and directing where he would potentially make a return

Man there is a lot of awful things in this movie but this battle feels like the one time we really got to see them ll on both sides transforming and fighting each other. Jazz jumping onto the tank and kicking it’s ass forcing him to transform felt like it’s how the fights should have gone in all the movies. I truly hate that as the movies go on they made the transformers fight with guns like humans instead of kicking each others ass and using their transformations.
They should have added prowl , cliffjumper , wreckage , dropkick , and blastoff in this movie as well
Brawl is my favorite decepticon.
Brawl took all the heat by Jazz and ironhide and Ratchet and Bumblebee. Homeboy loses his arm and shoulder cannon from jazz and once four autobots jumped on his ass and start gave him a massive beat up and jazz with a slide. Brawl got jumped on by 4 autobots. Our fella Deception Brawl took so many shot by Ratchet and Lenoxx men's and Bee. it make a 4v1 and 5v1 on brawl. 💀 Even He yeet jazz into the wall after He knocked his shoulder cannon.
The soldiers carried so hard. If they don't shootef in him. Bumblebee would die

Brawl is the Goat
Brawl lived up to his name. What I don't understand is that, Ironhide has better weapons than Bee. How did he miss every single shot at Brawl?! It took Bee 12 or so shots for the spark chamber while moving, and Ironhide couldn't get 1 shot. For a weapons expert, he sure sucked as marksman.

Shame that later they just make Decepticons cannon fodder. Brawl put up more of a fight than most cons because the writers decided to make the autobots more baddass fighters.
