When you speak about aging I have to smile, because you are so young, from my perspective of 65 years. But I am learning that our style evolves along with everything else in our lives. Change is a constant and it gives us freedom to try new things.
Okay, so I know it’s FULLY unrelated to clothes but I would love to see more of your home. I love the minimalism but without being overly modern. I love that you have tons of original character but your home isn’t a total time capsule or museum.
Audrey, I love how you have incorporated so many elements into your videos: pictures, how you wear it, personal interactions with the viewers, inspirations, scenery, style, elegance, superb editing, technology - time stamps for efficiency, etc. Wow you are the best that I have seen in the fashion blogger space. I watch a lot of fashion videos from a variety of bloggers and fashion channels. Overall, you are setting a bar! Well done!
It's so refreshing to explore fashion and style in a way that isn't saturated in self-absorption and fashion-police mandates. After listening to Audrey, I invariably feel better about my choices, potential and self, instead of worse!
@@AudreyCoyne Good morning Mom. I'm Cecilia please I've something very important to talk with you in private I don't know how to get in touch with you but please here is my phone number 0788809917. Thank you
Let me tell you Audrey - you could never give off the feeling of “too masculine“. I like the move towards more dresses though, i love dresses myself, and have a similiar thought about my style like you.
I’ve always loved the feminine style (similar to Carrie Bradshaw’s) and it took me awhile to readjust my wardrobe to nowadays very popular masculine style. I only have few pieces. I couldn’t really fully embrace it, it feels a little too forced. I don’t understand the need to look like a man that seems to be so exciting and popular nowadays. It’s like going against your nature. Women in the past didn’t care about it too much, even the suits were very feminine. So, I like your decision to incorporate more dresses this year. Nice move 💖🤗
Lucine Khachatrian with me, strangely it's the opposite. I never felt confident in frilly, flowery, slinky or sweet, girly clothes. I always felt I was sort of cross-dressing (if that even makes sense since I'm a girl...!). When the trend became more structured cuts and oversizes, and colour palette more sober and dignified, I felt I was finally in my style element. I always found girly clothes to be too attention-seeking. But it's more than just that, if you look for example at a company's group photo with men and women, men blend in pleasantly but the women always stand out with their crazier colours and patterns, and yet they way they stand out does not usually reflect their status in the hierarchy of said group. Conversely it's the women in that group who dress with more sobriety that blend in with the men and hold a higher position in the actual group. I've always noticed this and I think there is a clear connection there between clothes, respect and achievement, basically the less gaudy one dresses the more seriously one is taken, the farther one goes. And this is true for everything, not just the work sphere. Just a thought.
Thanks for being a great distraction these days, Audrey! I’m recently suffering from anxiety to panic attacks, ‘cause I’m moving from Brazil to Finland for work, and all the stress of leaving my family - specially my 77-year-old mom - and friends back in Brazil is driving me crazy. Your work has been me the distraction and happiness that I’m need during this time. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. ❤️
Just wanted to say a big THANK YOU! Don't recall how I found your channel, but am thrilled that I have. You have renewed my interest in personal style, helped me expand in the realm of accessories, and assisted me in refining my look (French tuck, outfit creation, accessorizing, etc...). Also I really appreciate your welcoming demeanor, voice...and video production skills. Can you tell, I'm a fan?!
I absolutely love the way you lay out your videos now. I appreciate the time stamps, your channel is one of the most efficient and informative on UA-cam!
Thank you! My biggest obstacles are fluctuating weight and sizes due to injury, a tight budget, and random selection of pieces that don't seem to mix and match well. However your advice and videos over the past year have encouraged me to keep trying even though it is hard.
Dear Audrey, you are more than a great stylist. I’ve been watching your videos for a while, and I think I finally figured out why your videos make me feel good. It’s more than the information, which it very good, but you exude very naturally feeling of companion and gentleness that humans ought to have towards all and that is so lacking in our society today. You are a breath of fresh air in the mist of this aggression and pride driven world. Watching you is therapeutic and informative.
I love forever jewelry too! I recommend silver and gold for everyone, because I have heirloom pieces from my great - grandmother passed to my grandma and given to me throughout the years for various occasions like x-mas, b-days, etc. Also, I still have and wear jewelry which I'd been given when I was like 5 and all after. This way, now at 28 I have a lot of beautiful and meaningful silver and gold jewelry with a lot of memories. The downside of this is of course I am a little paranoid to lose something, because I don't want to lose something I have precious memories with.
Hello, you can usually have a necklace or bracelet fitted with an additional small safety chain, so that if the clasp opens, you will not lose it. I do not know if something exists for earrings, though. Just a thought. :-)
@@isabellem1945 Thank you for the suggestion :) I use public transport so for safety, after work I'm putting my gold pieces (if I'm wearing any) in a small pouch in my bag. I've heard stories of elderly ladies being robbed of delicate gold chains when they were exiting buses, so I'm taking precautions, since gold is more and more of value. I always care for my precious jewelry and go to a jeweler if something is wrong with any clasps. I'm mostly paranoid of losing stones and small zirconias from some pieces or rings and earrings.
I like how you make your videos and not selling stuff on the video. The calm and quiet way you talk is such a nice change from the way most people talk while on videos.
I love how you remind us your classic curated & timeless style did not happen overnight and just like yours...we can continue to change our wardrobe when we feel the need. I enjoy stepping into your 'classroom'...today my take away is to focus on a few go-to outfits.
Will definitely keep this in mind, perhaps on a yearly basis, to review my wardrobe and make small changes or additions. You’re correct when you say we sometimes get stuck in our choices. Thank you Audrey.
I gravitate to minimalist monotone looks also, but sometimes adding an accent piece makes the outfit special. I love your antique pendant. Great introspection about your fashion style evolution!!
Your videos are so helpful in reminding me to have patience, patience, patience in finding the right pieces. I really pride myself on showing my style in unique ways, but that can get lost when you are drawn to a lot of masculine-leaning basics. I have been looking more and more at upscale, secondhand (sounds like an oxymoron) retailers, and that has been helpful in some cases, but I would love to hear more recommendations for stores and brands where you have gotten pieces you enjoy. Extra points if they are sustainably sourced!
I think it's really healthy, Audrey, to start thinking about the aging process in terms of your style. You're taking the long picture of your life as a stylish woman. I'm in my late fifties and I keep up with fabulously fashionable style icons-like, Style Crone, for example. My French grandma was very stylish until her nineties and she has always been my inspiration. Your forties are right around the corner, and it's good you're embracing getting mature. PS. I ordered some dresses online today- even before watching this video. That's why I keep up with you because we approach fashion similarly. Thanks, Audrey, keep up the great work!
I completely agree with you, Melissa. Also, that website is really really cool!!! Reminds me of the ABSOLUTELY beautiful and lovely Carmen Dell'Orefice as well as Daphne Selfe--both the oldest (and still stunning) supermodels ever, as well as Maye Musk, Helen Mirren, and Iris Apfel. They all have one thing in common--their own sense of style with a sharp solidified edge. They have all flawlessly executed amazing wardrobes over the years and used those outfits to convey youth and free spirit. Because of them, and because of Audrey's insight, I've been thinking more about what I want to convey in my 30's. So, thank you--Audrey!
I'm a new viewer and love your channel. I just celebrated my 58th birthday and have been having fun updating my wardrobe. Recently, I've started wearing heirloom jewelry I've inherited. Big cocktail rings, for example, that did not fit my minimalist style, I now have more confidence wearing. There is also the added bonus of the fond memories I have of the people I love. Looking forward to your forever jewelry video.
I love your channel. I came across it about 1-2 months ago through a suggestion on my feed. I watched a couple videos, and subscribed right away. There are so many channels out there, but you have a very unique, serene, and authentic presence, which I can’t say for many I have looked at, and not subscribed to. That, along with your wonderful, interesting, and knowledgeable advice and suggestions, are what keep me watching your channel! Thank you!
I was thinking about this the other day when I wear too structured I can look costumey and like I’m trying too hard. I need to find a balance mixing soft with structured. It’s been a style journey with ups and downs but fun.
Brava Audrey! So glad to hear you going to experiment more...there's a world full of garments to experience and experiment with...and make your own..our style evolves as we evolveand grow..really enjoy your channel.
So I’m a 30 year old woman but my mom and grandmother still love to give their opinion on what I should wear. They like it when I wear floral dresses and stuff like that. Even my friends compliment when I dress like that. But I feel most like myself in more sporty stuff or streamlined outfits. Not sure if I should if I should dress in the way that other people think I look good or the way I like it. At the moment I have a wardrobe that’s a mix of different styles and I’m trying to become more cohesive
Hello Audrey - I have watched your video several times and I’ve picked up different things each time. Love the way you place your plants different heights it looks so beautiful and drawing your eye in the room - I love plants you have inspired me to reorganise my house plants. I’m also taking a long hard look at my Wardrobe and not have so much black, so I have bought myself a Pink sweater - I love the look of it and the soft feel of the wool - when I tired it on and walked around the house my husband said - who’s this - that’s different - I like it. I know this sounds silly but I’m going to wear it out today - I feel a bit daring! Thanks for the video. Rae
Fashion is one thing I never considered as a part of my 2020 plan but your video helped me to put it into perspective for myself as a small way I can make a positive change. Thanks!
I use a lot of hard drive space for all the photos I’ve saved for over 10 years of browsing runway photos, fashion bloggers photos, and street style photos. I put them into year folder and then style sub folders. My categories cover from head to toe, from hair and makeup to shoes, and everything in between. I’d go back to check these photos from time to time to purge the styles I no longer fancy. I also learn so much from what garment and styling look good on my height and body. The biggest impact of this long term on going study is that I become very sharp and critical on prints and color combo. I use this knowledge on quilting design and fabric buying. Some people are born with fashion in the blood. I don’t. But I made a huge commitment to study everything styling related to improve my taste and sharpen my buying instinct.
Can you go into more detail about what retailers you’re shopping at now? Your style always looks effortless - maybe you had to tweak things to keep that feel.
I loved watching this video. Audrey, you are so good at what you do! Living in Phoenix is hot and dry. I started wearing dresses last year and people stop me continuously to ask about where I buy them. As a die hard jeans fan, I noticed immediately how much more feminine dresses look and feel and I've gotten the sense that many women are craving that style, but perhaps don't take the chance because maybe it's safer to stick to the status quo trends when sticking to a budget? So I like that you are talking about this. Just so you know, you still look great in the structured outfits, so I hope you don't quit them entirely.
Her voice is VERY soothing. It has helped me during this pandemic. She reminds me of a world that is really pulled together other than the totally chaotic and scattered one we are living in right now.
The time stamp is a great idea, and I love your slightly softer new pieces, I think they complement your natural beauty perfectly. Always a pleasure to listen to you!
I have always struggled to find my own style. I love a classy but modern style and I have no problems to pick nice clothes for my husband and my girls. But last year I begun to follow you and take your advice and I have never felt more comfortable and stylish in my life. I just want to thank you from the bottom of my heart!! Greetings from the Netherlands
Good for you! Challenging yourself, open up to new horizons, trying new things. You do it with your wardrobe. Of course, it is a ood place to start, even I myself usually focus on something else.
There is something inspiring and thought provoking in every one of your videos that can be applied to anyone’s personal style journey, no matter where they are. Great content! Thank you for sharing!
I've been thinking about changing my style since this year will bring my 70th birthday. Your ideas and inspirations are spot on and I am going to go through my wardrobe with an open mind and rethink what I want in my style. Thank you Audrey!
I am aiming to dress more "put together" for 2020 but yet feel comfortable and not too stiff. I would be happy to see more guidance on mixing silhouettes and styles.
Really liked this video! I’ve only recently started trying to minimize my wardrobe and become more intentional about my purchases, and I wondered if you’ve ever done a video reflecting on wardrobe purchase regrets? Sometimes when I end up not wearing something I bought I beat myself up about it, but it’s more productive to use those as learning experiences by reflecting on what drove me to buy it and why it didn’t end up working out for me. Just an idea that might be a helpful video for those of us starting out on this journey!
Today's video is very interesting and inspiring. I've been retired for a couple of years and have a wardrobe that I like for winter and summer that has been working for me and is presentable. Today you have encouraged us to broaden our perspective and I will.
Nice, thanks! Have you ever thought of getting a front angled bob hairstyle & flat ironed. It seems like it would really suit your style & pretty, slender, graceful neck.
You are looking so much more your age with your 2020 realizations! Wonderful going on this journey with you. Thanks for sharing your updates! The kibbe soft classic archetype suits you nicely.
Perhaps it's the Scandinavian in me but I relate to you enormously in both style, colour matches and evolution towards a more feminine wardrobe. I'm 21 and am still figuring everything out (I'm huge on creative trials, hence my guy friend thought my style to be alike the models wearing "plastic bags"), but your videos are helping me out a lot. I even added a few of your videos to my "life lessons" playlist! So thank you for everything, truly.
My style has evolved to an eclectic mix of classic/vintage. I have a minimal structured wardrobe but also love to dress in Edwardian fashion... high necked blouses and a walking skirt. I love your encouragement to dress for joy... we only live once. Go for it!
I feel like last year I really put an emphasis on basics, and this year I’m adding in feminine touches as well! Very excited to find the perfect loose silk button down and puffy sleeve/ruffle tops. I also have just started to put an emphasis on “forever jewelry.” I can’t afford too many high end items, but I am investing in good items where I can. For years I wasn’t interested in jewelry so I didn’t own anything until recently. It’s so fun to grow my collection.
Hello Audrey! Hope all is well with you and your family! 😊 I know this is like 8 months past this video release date, but loving your video! I am currently reflecting on my own style now in the midst of COVID (and throwing away many yoga pants I have acquired and tired of wearing now!) I am also learning that blousy unstructured shirts only work well on me with a high waisted shirt and/or pant because I am so petite. On a mission of throwing out those types of shirts that don't work for me. Love your style evolution and looking forward to the next few weeks of weeding out my own style. Pls stay safe and healthy! 🌟 Thank you again for this awesome video! 🤩
I love your videos. They’re efficient, thoughtful, and well edited. But most importantly, you speak like an adult who is prepared. You don’t fill gaps in your video with “ums” or “like”. Finally, your style is gorgeous and I love how you dress consistently in a classic style with modern touches. Impressive.
I have to be honest I'm here for the great advise and specially for your voice and accent, it's so relaxing and zen! As for style? we're complete opposites, there are close to zero classic pieces in my entire wardrobe because i think it doesn't suit me, but i love how inclusive you are :) thank you
For almost 10 years I had a very feminine, colorful and fun style with lots of skirts, patterns, ruffles, lace and antique style jewelry. Now that I'm working from home I've realised that I'm slowly turning into a minimalist. I've declutered my wardrobe because having so many patterns made dressing quite a challenge and I didn't have the patience to mix and match them anymore. My style is still more on the dressy/structured side but more functional, neutral with simple cuts and fewer details to avoid feeling costumy. I've included more slacks in my wardrobe and I really enjoy wearing them especially in the colder months. Now I have a color pallet so I hope I'll be able to wear more monocrome outfits in 2020.
Love the presentation of your videos, thank you! I went through this exact adjustment in my early 30's. Now, in my mid-fifties, I wear my staples and layer in a trend or two each season, putting aside, but not discarding, certain items to re-dicover in later years. Jewelry as well. There is less shopping out of my closet this way and I enjoy each piece more often. Even glasses frames come and go. Feminine never goes out of style!
I enjoyed hearing your thoughts for 2020 on personal style. It's always nice to hear how you are formalizing the ever-changing aspects of style each year. I would like to see recommendations based on the month, for instance, what color should you incorporate into your wardrobe in February, March, etc. How to wear these colors and maybe comb through the closet and take out what isn't working to make room for your new picks for the month. Thank you for your continued guidance as we maneuver the world of fashion.
I love the jacket and jean look with scarf but it is borderline airline steward looking if not done right, I think adding a few feminine pieces to our already tailored wardrobe is a very good way to go for 2020. I loved the whole video. Thank you Audrey
I started watching your videos about a years ago and have streamlined my style but found I was already incorporating a lot of your tips such as a color palette, a uniform, etc. you did help me seriously purge those pieces I retained because they fit a look I think I wanted but never felt comfortable wearing. In our home, I’m the one with less clothes and shoes but I’m now down to pieces I truly love that a make me feel fabulous but have changed to more monochrome outfits. Then I change it up with jewelry and colorful shoes. I find those all navy, all black, all grey lend themselves to fun jewelry that contrasts then pick the shoe color to match the jewelry colors so I have several pairs of very colorful shoes. Since I’m a jewelry designer it is easy to create fun pieces to break up the monochromatic look of the clothes without breaking the bank. And while experimenting with jewelry ideas if it’s not right for me, I just add it to my inventory to sell so no wasting money on accessories that don’t suit me.
Lately I've been moving towards ditching the collar too, but for me it's because it tends to make me look sloppy very easily when the collar becomes floppy or is very unstructured. I love the ideas you come up with. I had struggled so long with how to embrace my own femininity in my own style too, and am just starting to lean into that more as I experiment and find how to flatter my body shape. Another thing I'm experimenting with more is finding undergarments that work well for me and what I want them to accomplish... being of a not traditional body shape, it's tricky most times to find something that does what I'm looking for (for example I still haven't been able to find a good strapless solution for me!) Thanks for another great video full of thoughtful ideas and insights! ♡
Dear Audrey. Had a bumpy start for the New Year, watching your video inspired and cheered me up. Thank you. Your comments about neckline are relateable. Inspirational video. God bless.
Just found your videos. It's been an interesting year and after a very long journey (all my life and accelerated when my dad died) of slowly figuring myself out and slowly learning self acceptance, I've decided to purge my closet and home of things that have just become clutter (except the books, they're my guilty pleasure). Sorry for oversharing. I've found myself taking notes and becoming excited watching your videos. I've finally been able to settle on a colour palette for myself after thinking about it for so long (you've inspired me). Getting excited about moving on and really stream lining everything (minus the books) that I'm looking at right now. Thanks.
You really bring an intellectual mindset to fashion and it's always so refreshing and inspired. I'm just starting to cultivate my own sense of style and build a functional, beautiful, minimalist wardrobe that actually suits my life. I'm enjoying the journey and understand that it can take years to even build a wardrobe of basics. But I also can't wait to be where you are, with a style that's fully integrated and comes so naturally, to the point where I can start experimenting and taking more "risks".
I really liked seeing you in the Breton stripe shirt with the colorful scarf. SInce you are low contrast...hair, eyes, skin in similar tones I understand why you wear the colors you do in your main wardrobe pieces but a little pop of color like that keeps your style energized. Like you, I dressed conservatively in classics in my 30s bec I had a career that demanded it. I liked the classic style and shopped carefully as you do. Once I retired I tried bolder styles and colors and my style has been transitioning into more creative options but I do still love classics. I have feminized my classic blazers and slacks as you seem to be doing, fewer collared shirts except silk charmeuse and more soft blouses I have slowly collected in brighter colors. Years ago in my 30s, I began collecting two things and you seem to be on a similar path. Whenever I would travel, Europe especially but in the USA and Latin America as well, I would look for a silk scarf or piece of antique jewelry and now I have a lovely collection I wear often. Each piece reminds me of a village in France, or Mexico City, a Florida vacation, or a little shop in Scotland or the silver vaults in London etc. They give my more traditional, outfits a more unique look. My fav piece is,a tiny sterling vase pin that can hold a rosebud in water. My husband bought it for,me in my 30s on a trip bec he grew roses for me....we had 21 bushes so he would each morning more ask what I was going to wear to work and he would go outside to cut me a bud in a color that would look best. It became a workday tradition. I wore the rose all day on my suit or blazer lapel...it became my workday trademark and reminded me all day how much I was loved. Now in retirement in a tropical Latin country, he does the same but my rose goes into a silver budvase on my bedside table every morning.....
@@MC-gq5ms Yes...I know just how lucky I have been and am...my childhood was not an easy one with much loss of close family members so that my teen years and early adulthood were far sadder and harder than the rest of my life has been. I DO treasure what I have and know that many others are not so lucky as to ever find a satisfying life. I wish joy to everyone...
Now im gonna start planning what my whole wardrobe would be this 2020. You inspire me to be sustainable and wise on fashion..definitely gonna start pinning wardrobe inspo and start discovering my color palette asap..youre the best!
I just found your Channel and need to say, I really enjoy your Videos. They feel very stuctured(especially with the timestamp/headline thing) and everythings just very pleasent and relatable. I also like you as from how you are in the videos and the tipps etc you give are very helpful. I'm very glad that I found your channel, well done!
I love the way you put your videos together - clear, understandable points with the perfect picture or yourself modeling exactly what you are speaking of. Your wardrobe lessons are practically life lessons (especially in this video, for instance, when you speak of things that you won't be wearing in 2020.) You're just so lovely, Audrey, inside and out! :) -- I wanted to tell you that before I teased you for a moment... I'm watching you model in front of your fireplace, enjoying your outfit and the perfect setting that you have found, when suddenly I thought, *"what was that?"* Something black flicked across the bottom of the screen at the 6:34 mark... yet, you yourself took no notice. "It almost reminded me of a cat's tail," I thought; "I wonder if she has a cat?" And, sure enough, as I watched your surroundings, at the 6:44 mark, I echoed Tweety Bird: _"I did! I did! I did see a puttytat!!!!" LOL!!!_ Just had to mention it, hoping to bring a smile to your face (not that I've seen you stop smiling) as you did mine with this entire video. :) All the best, Shannon A.
Green, especially darker shades, and Burgundy are two of my Favorite colors...green seems to have been scarce fashion wise for some time now, but it is coming back. I have chestnut hair and fair skin, and I think those colors always are flattering! My husband always compliments me when I where burgundy...Audrey, your videos are so inspiring, love the idea of softer, more feminine blouses, etc. Thank you!! ☺️💕
Diana West Check out the book Color Me Beautiful! It will help you find more colors that will make you glow like burgundy :) it’s like from the 80s and helps you find the best color pallet for you, depending on your natural skin tone
Diana West I have been analyzed as a Contrasting Summer and love the hunter ish green that is in my fan. I wore it years ago and am glad it’s back. Burgundy and berries are there, too so I am happy. The hunt is almost fun!
Your color palette is identical to mine! I like wearing a dark hunter green and deep burgundy too for “pops” of color, but I’ve noticed my absolute favorite color is navy blue!
Hi I’d love to see you guiding us with scarves. I work in a very old building with poor (no!) heating and scarves are essential! Loving your inspiration and helping me keep focused and intentional when putting old favourites and new items together.
I love dresses! Even in winter. Thermal tights are just so much warmer than any woven pants. And it is so easy to have an additional colour because you do not really need anything to go with it. You should definitely try out something pink or fuchsia, I think it will look stunning with your complexion!
Audrey, I love your approach to personal style. 😍😊I too am facing the dilemma of breaking from that “too structured, costumey look. Like you said it doesn’t work for me either. Also, I’ve noticed the same thing happening when I wear trendy looks, like from Pinterest or Instagram. very costumey. I realized how finding your own style is so important and thank you for helping me on that journey. Would love to see a video on how to “convert” the structured looks, using your examples, into more relaxed flowy ones. Thank you!
OH MY! I just went to look at the seal fob link you provided! I am STUNNED! Years ago I found a odd piece of jewelry in a box my aunts left me. I have had NO IDEA what it is for 20 years years. I will get it out of the safe tomorrow because it has a seal fob on one end of the piece! I didn’t know what in the world it was! And I think the slender piece is a pencil. Is there a way I can send you a photo? I’m VERY excited! 🎉
I find your style and inspirations, well, inspiring. I just retired from an executive office environment and I am have difficulty finding a retirement style. Casual has always been challenging for me. I am watching and learning though. Smart shopping!
As many stores in my area are closing ....I find that I have less places to shop. I am not crazy about ordering clothes since I find they often disappoint when they arrive. How does one go about finding an online store that is quality but not overly expensive ?
check out lands end & llbean... quality clothes, not too expensive. Lands end tends to run a bit large, so sizing down may work well. (Lands end has gone back to their roots-hurray! classic/basics....good quality.)
@@2write2sing2dance Thank you....I would imagine doing the measuring would increase the chance of getting something that fits. Thanks again for the tip.
Hello, Audrey. I find your channel inspiring, especially the relaxed style of your videos: sharing information rather than teaching. I’d really like a video on blazers, maybe some recommendations for long-term trends, which fabrics will make a blazer stay in my wardrobe longer...something like that would be fantastic!
I have the same dressing vibe as you. I like solids, classics, neutrals, easy to mix and match but yes I do often feel more masculine than I would like. I now have some more jewel toned colorful pieces, silk wrap tops, heeled boots etc
I recently culled my jewelry collection and I realized I tend to go for very classic styles with a bohemian edge so I now am way more critical about bringing in things that work with those things in mind. I also like you are finding my perfect greens we are similar in colouring and green is just so good when you find the right one. My goal is to only have things I love I am slowly getting there!
Hi Audrey, I also keep going back to the same retailers, and it bothers me too as I see it affects my style. I'm always looking to find new quality retailers, and I love when you share information on where you buy your clothes. Thanks
I just eliminated quite a few items of clothing because I want to have a capsule wardrobe and stick to a color palette. You’ve inspired me! Thanks for all the great advice!
I love the timestamp-style outline on the side of your screen that you‘ve been doing recently. It’s very organized and professional

I like that about her videos!! Theu are organized and streamlined!!!😃😃😃😃😃😃

I don’t care about fashion. I just like her voice
🤣🤣
Creepy
Yes I think Audrey should start an ASMR channel. 😴
That’s exactly why I follow her. The voice!!!
I think her voice is a selling point for this channel!! She makes you feel like you know her, and can trust her for good style guidance!
After watching few of your videos back to back, my cheeks were sore....Your smile is contiguous 😁! Watching from Dubai! Great videos!
I love the onscreen time stamp info. It’s practical and helpful but presented simply and elegantly. What else would we expect from you, 😊
I gravitate to minimalist monotone looks also, but sometimes adding an accent piece makes the outfit special.
@@gispaAPRN I'm going to check out those icons you mentioned. Thnkx!
That is a beautiful blouse and looks so lovely on you. I look forward to some new looks. Always fun to change and update our looks.
Rae
Loved your points about restrictive clothing and classic items coming off too serious! Thank you for another great video! xx
Not just too serious but uptight, and outdated!
As a dress/skirt girl, I am excited to see what you wear and style!!!Green is my favorite colour! Let's enjoy our fashion journey in 2020!
Love her personality, warm look eyes, soft voice and totally gorgeous
Can you go into more detail about what retailers you’re shopping at now? Your style always looks effortless - maybe you had to tweak things to keep that feel.
I love these tips! You've inspired me to go look at my wardrobe with a new perspective. Thank you Audrey.
I love that first white and cream outfit! Would love a breakdown of the pieces.
I wanted to share with you that watching your Sunday video with tea and a scone has become a favorite component of my Sunday reset routine. 😊
I really appreciate that you display key points/times and your current position in the lineup.

i love the timestamp! it's a great example on how to make a well-organized vlog.
I love your videos. They’re efficient, thoughtful, and well edited. But most importantly, you speak like an adult who is prepared. You don’t fill gaps in your video with “ums” or “like”. Finally, your style is gorgeous and I love how you dress consistently in a classic style with modern touches. Impressive.
Wow! What a great video! I love your style and I’m 50!!!! Your style is classic with your own personal touch, I love it!!!
You are so easy to watch and delightful.
I love the simplicity of your videos, the classic style and advice and your voice. It’s so soothing
2:28 that top is so beautiful. Where did you got that from? ❤
Thanks.
Sending you so much love and I’m so happy my videos have helped ❤️❤️❤️
Love your videos. I find it so hard to find "my style" because the things I like just do not fit my lifestyle
Loving your monstera plant in the background ❤️
I have feminized my classic blazers and slacks as you seem to be doing, fewer collared shirts except silk charmeuse and more soft blouses I
have slowly collected in brighter colors.
Sybil Francis Lovely story, wonderful husband. You’re a lucky lady.
Do u know how unusually blessed you are? I know lovely women of sincere integrity who could not imagine that kind of love and life.
I feel "I wish I knew you"! Kindred spirits.
Wow, that is the most romantic comment ever!
-- I wanted to tell you that before I teased you for a moment...
Audrey...Thank you so much to share, I like that you are in favor of buying consciously and your style is very chic
I 100% appreciate when your share how you process looking forward, looking back, and tweeking goals!
You always look so ‘ put together’and you voice is so soothing 😊
Audrey. I, too love burgundy and have just started to wear more green as well as navy (less black). Can’t wait to see what you choose!
Oh my god Audrey, I am SO WITH YOU on the dresses and feminine pieces!! So excited to see where this year leads :)
Your color palette is identical to mine! I like wearing a dark hunter green and deep burgundy too for “pops” of color, but I’ve noticed my absolute favorite color is navy blue!
It’s so soothing listening to her voice and watching her
Hi I’d love to see you guiding us with scarves. I work in a very old building with poor (no!) heating and scarves are essential! Loving your inspiration and helping me keep focused and intentional when putting old favourites and new items together.
This was really fun! The layout for the timestamp looks great, too. I love it!
I love dresses! Even in winter. Thermal tights are just so much warmer than any woven pants. And it is so easy to have an additional colour because you do not really need anything to go with it.
You should definitely try out something pink or fuchsia, I think it will look stunning with your complexion!
Would love to see your closet maybe a closet tour
I was just thinking that too
Me, too! A closet tour would be great ... and an inspiration!
Yes please show us- 🥰
You outfit in this video is so pretty. I feel like it bring out your aura and I don't even know what I'm talking about but I can feel it
Audrey, I love your approach to personal style. Thank you!
I've never been much of a dress wearer, but I am thinking of going in that direction, but I have to find what works, thanks, Audrey!
You are a very big inspiration for all and you talk so sweetly just like my grandmom did ... you’re very polite and such a beautiful soul ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
As many stores in my area are closing ....I find that I have less places to shop. I am not crazy about ordering clothes since I find they often disappoint when they arrive. How does one go about finding an online store that is quality but not overly expensive ?
you might try thredup for pre-loved pieces from retailers that you already like! super affordable too
