Every actor thinks they can do every role, but direct Schindler's List? What Speilberg brought to that film was not just his masterful skills as a director but his family's/culture's history and you felt it throughout the film with the story he was trying to tell. Nah, Kevin. Stern should have called you out on that.

Kevin Costner would have been interesting in Schindlers List, but direction wise, it’s impossible to think of anybody other than Spielberg.
No love for Robert Duvall him and Gene Hackman are great actors but i would go with Duvall over Hackman. In my opinion they are two of the best 25 actors of all time.
