On the stock bumper, there is a license plate light on both sides of the bumper. What did you do with the harness for the license plate light from the left side where there’s no light on the new bumper? Thanks for the video
@@ricardosworkshop You should cap Off the wiring harness connectors with Flex - Seal caulking, if you never plan on using it again to prevent any electrical shorts. If you have OCD like me, cut out a small square piece of sandwich bag plastic, wedge the plastic barrier inside the harness housing, BEFORE filling the void with FLEX SEAL. NOW if the next owner, or anyone wants to replace bumper with original painted bumper, then can. Use flat head screw driver, or razor blade to remove caulking, without any goop inside the metal connectors. bingo, just saying. LOL ENJOY,.
update after i received this bumper, it does in fact give you a license plate light out error, the quality is meh, all the welded on nuts to hold the bumper were sprayed with the lining so it was hard to thread. for the price the issues are tolerable but would never buy from hooke road again as i have the roof rack, bed rack, front and rear bumper and theres all sorts of fitment issues and horrible engineering with some holes for bolts not even drilled out
@@ksfishingadventures Thanks Brother. Hey. i agree. I would never buy a three Piece Rear Bumper. Integrity is Everything. When i first the Small Box on the video, i was puzzled. Lol STAY WELL.
Since you guys thought you were giving some unknown "Pro Tip" on how to tighten the shackles. Heres one for y'all. The shackles need rubber grommets (Silencers) between the shackle Brackets and the Shackles to keep it from sounding like a bucket of bolts coming down the road. No wonder you got only 42 likes and only 4 comments in a year on this post.
I am getting the license plate bulb out error, any suggestions?
Yours must be newer. I would put a small watt bulb on it and leave it plugged in the back
the electrician in this video has a wicked coke nail! LOL
LMAO!
So, what about to two bolts behind the plate that go into the hitch to stabilize everything?
That's a great point. But I'm not sure it's stabilizing the hitch. Probably just helping the lighter bumper stay in place.

Great question. We zip tied it behind the bumper. But without a bulb so it wouldn't be lit.
