You two are such an amazing example for other couples. You've enspired my wife and I to work more towards being better team mates for each other, to be more patient and work together on things. Keep up the great work!

@@nancyfaircloth3224 That's where you walk away until you can talk about it in a calm voice. We built a 20-sided polygon together, and I had to do it more than once (I'm the hothead). Another breathtaking opening and the Northern Lights, just incredible. Back in the 1950s, they were visable in Oregon. Scared everybody, we'd never heard or seen such a sight. They were so beautiful, eerie green lights dancing in the sky. Ariel, you rock! Handling that chainsaw like a lumberjack (Jill). Sweet Pepper, the birds will keep her occupied all winter! ❤ To all Lori.
Your early videos have been available. You have grown. The photography was good now it is great. The early music was edger. It is now maturer. More self aware. More spiritual. You have really grown. I wish you happiness.
I honestly got really emotional at 16:09. With so much horror in the world is so easy to forget how beautiful the world is and how we need to take care of it. Thank you guys so much for how you keep showing how amazing our home is. 🙏♥️

Hey guys, I just want ya'll to know that I'm an old man from Texas, I've been watching ya'll for years now. Ya'll are my top two people I watch on UA-cam. Love you guys. Oh, and all I watch these days is UA-cam. So that says alote. Love your video and photography, and I'm envious as hell of yalls lifestyle. Can't wait for the next one and the next one.
Y'all need an award for your scenery videos! You do such a terrific job! So beautiful! And as always I love watching you create wonderful meals! You both work so hard.😀❤
Your videos always bring a smile to my face. Thank you, I really needed this today. :) What a beautiful life you two have made for yourselves. I love the cat and the bird feeder, too. God bless you both in your adventures together in God's country.
Always a beautiful start to an amazing journey for you both. Thank you for sharing your lives and adventures. Much love and respect to you both. Pease stay warm this winter!
I love the bird feeder. I'm getting one each for my cats. The younger one (1yo f) always attacks the older one (11yo and almost blind m) so they have to be kept apart. I'll give them one each. Old Boy goes nuts when birds sit on the window sill, so this will be welcome entertainment. The younger one is terrified of practically everything that moves that isn't my older cat, so this will be interesting.
Watching your little kitty girl was such a joy! Made me chuckle how she wants to "play" with her little friends. So darn cute and great for the birds too!!
I was thinking similar, but how blessed each creature is to observe and be in each other's proximity/space for a time. This would rarely occur in a natural environment.
Stay focused on each other as you walk through life. Your relationship is the most important thing. Life is not about money or stuff…it’s all about your marriage and sharing the ups and downs as a team. Love your videos and may God Bless you both!
The introduction did not disappoint, as usual. If I were a younger woman, I would be living so much like this. I love your self sufficiency and loving partnership. You are living so many people's adventures, including mine.
I get so excited when you put out a new video! You are my #1 Creator!! Everything you film is entertaining from food, nature, working as a couple, and the love you have for each other. You cover it all!!

The opening shots were gorgeous once again. Your handle on cinematography is just incredible. I have never seen these see-through bird feeders before, but they are super cool! I love how unimpressed the birds were with the cat, despite her trying to catch them through the glass. They know she can't get to them! Sentences I never thought I'd hear: "I just charged the chicken coop for a good hour." Also, did I hear mention of a cabin trip?! "We" haven't been to the lakeside cabin in a while, this is exciting. Love your video's and how well you two work together. Just to add a little context to your snowfall up there in Alaska, we had our first snowfall here this morning in Northeastern PA. We had about a 1/2" of snow early this morning and by nightfall it was mostly gone as it warmed up to about 40 degrees today. It's almost Christmas and this video gave me an idea for a gift for our son. He has three cats and I know they would enjoy a window bird feeder, so I am planning on getting one for him for Christmas with some bird feed and possibly a window seat for his cats so they can enjoy their view, Love your videos!
I loved the cat and bird/feeder interaction! Good to hear that the chickens are doing well in the Casa de Pollo. You two look like you are getting for a long winter, Be well.
Your small cabin makes a BIG difference. Yesterday I went by a pile of firewood in Princeton, MA, and my friend said that the owner goes through at least ten cords of wood every winter! The house, however, is huge. Probably over 2000 square feet. So even though it's only north central Mass, it takes lots of energy to heat that volume. You're doing winter right. And life right.
Your photography is breath taking. It reminds me of my parents and the slides my father took. We would spend hours watching the Alaskan pictures and listen to them tell stories. Precious memories. Thank you.
Wow, yet ANOTHER great video intro, plus Aurora, plus Pepper trying to figure out why she can't reach the birds! (Made me laugh!) This (as usual excellent) video shows just how much effort you have to put into one of the basics most of us take for granted - staying warm in winter. All the cutting, axe work etc involved to have enough wood is a lot. My late brother had a wood burner in his house, he didn't have to chop down any trees, but it was half a day to get to the woodyard, fill his (much smaller) trailer return home then unload/stack it. Thanks for improving my Friday!
Pepper's own live bird show. I love it. That chicken Eric brought out was practically purring. She didn't seem scared at all. Her chirps seemed more questioning.
Your intro is absolutely beautiful. Beautiful view👍. Wow quick work with that wood pile. You two work so well together like a well oiled machine🥰. Stay warm🇺🇸✌️
I gasp, I stare, and I am enthralled! I love the wilderness; it’s in my blood. I lived in it as a young child and it’s never left my heart. Thank you very much for your videos.
Heaven on earth is what the scenery of Alaska makes me think of. Can't thank you enough for sharing it with us. Hope Pepper learns to make bird friends and enjoys their visits while they eat.
Your beginning video is sad, and lonely, and comforting, and sleepily desiring for spring to emerge. This beauty pulls my emotions in. You have encompassed every aspect of beautiful, desolate Alaska. You've managed to help me see the beauty of my Oregon around me.❤
A different kind of video and just as good as the others. I sure couldn't get out into those conditions for more than a few minutes but you two seem ok with it. Feeding birds in the winter is great and I have to get mine up again. Your cat is adorable! Do you not like to eat much meat? I also love veggies. Thanks so much for visiting all of us. My husband and I love your show and wanted to pass on a helpful hint. We fill chemical totes (with the bottle removed) with our wood and then we can use the forks on the tractor to move the totes to the house. We cut the bottle diagonally and make a roof for the tote, to keep the wood dry. Less handling of the wood, because you have enough to do!!!

Great idea!!
😮I'm impressed! That's a lot of wood!
I love my husband of 38 years but I can’t imagine spending 24-7 with him. Lol. I applaud y’all …. You are the best team. Do you have either of your families close???
Our families all live in the lower 48 ;)
Just wondering if you decorate the house for Christmas? Would enjoy seeing it lit up!
