I bet the same people that shrink uniforms are responsible for that extended steering wheel!
Pure evil creatures those
Who shrinks uniforms?
@@Kalumbatsch Watch this channel's "How to cook in a tank" video. :D
"Things happen during the years" - I love it. Same thing here!
Having a Willys Jeep at 15 must be the coolest thing ever.
Driving an S Tank at 9 must be the coolest thing ever!
He would basicly have been the king of the whole county where I grew up! There was a man in my old village that had a willys jeep painted bright red that he resto-modded himself and we all thought he was amazing. He still has it and he's still a really cool dude, also ex-military like Stefan.
No. Owning one kübelwagen is definitely the highest happiness.
That personal touch of Stefan's own experience is an added value to the video.
Excellent point
Like Jack Elam in suburban commando
Oh, I like war time jeeps. I'd love to have one myself. Thank you for sharing yours here.
Världens coolaste EpA🤘🤘🤘❤️
Lucky boy, good dad!
In 1979 I got a moped ... I didn’t know there was an option for a Willys Jeep! Man, now I feel tricked! 😑
It’s seams Stefan and I are both born the same year, 1964! That’s funny! 😁
Stefan, I can see you sitting in the jeep at night when the museum is closed just reminiscing on the old times you had with this jeep.❤️🏴🥲😀👍
What a great story! And those headlights are very, very clever
When I was a child, a long time ago, my father bought a military jeep home, and I thought how small it was at that time, when I was in the service we drove early M-151's which were just as small, but they could run circles around the GP. We had an extensive driving program in MP school and never had any accidents with them, but soldier who didn't have training could flip them in a heartbeat, which would result in their hearts not beating.
Stefan, you are my favourite youtuber! You know your stuff and have a great sense of humor :) Keep up the good work!
Beautiful jeep, you are very lucky. Thankyou for telling your story, very interesting. Cheers from Australia. 👍🏻👌🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I enjoyed the video, talking about the personal connection is appreciated too.
Wow you were fortunate to get such a nice Willys so early in life. Very nice car indeed. They are still used in remote rugged places around the world, like the coffee growing mountains of Colombia.
What I find most beautiful about the Jeep is how you can see how everything works, from the electrics to the petrol and lubricants, suspension, engine, lights, wipers, and wheels. Its an incredible design and also eye catching.
Thank you Stefan. You are a wealth of knowledge and your personal experiences with the equipment in the museum make your videos even more interesting.
Presumably the jeep wasn't in US markings when it came from Norway. When were they added?
Best sound affects on utube. Memorable insect squashing.
Nice toy, Stefan and ... good to hear someone else who knows that Willys is simply an alternative spelling of Willis. The floor mount dip switch is still the best arrangement, in my view.
The Sweetet thing ever. And "old man" with his first love. :)) (me!! yet another sweed in love with his first A-Traktor ;))
Awesome, really enjoyed this one. One can only imagine how many blonde Nordic beauties got rides in this vehicle.
Ah, fond memories popping up. I used to drive around in one of those as a scout.
The black-out 1 light=far, 2 light= nearing 4 light=too close resemble the front/rear "convoy lights" on german tanks, or I'm wrong.
I remember the same explenation behind a Panzer IV.
Hm, I can't remember seeing that trick with the folding headlamp for field maintenance but you would think I would have seen it before now. Nice video!
Thank you for sharing your great story! Excellent video
you speak very good English thankyou for your great inform you gave.
David Willey from the Tank Museum in Bovington has a WW2 Daimler Scout car, there must be something about being a Tank museum director that calls for classic military vehicle ownership.
Really interesting. Love the feature with the reversible headlamp.
so many books and videos are out there for the jeep but ive never heard about flipping the light for working on the engine
Tack för fina program 🏁👍
Excellent :)
awesome, very interesting
Verry interesting. Thank you.
Could it have been the coolest EPA-traktor in Sweden? ( EPA-tractor originally meant to be a farming vehicle but usually they're driven by teenagers before they are allowed to drive regular cars. )
Nope. Home built or Volvo pv's is the shit. But as a first car? Ow yes!
Stefan, could you please do a video of the anti tank gun jeeps We had at P10? I think i have seen a couple of them in the museum.
Ford GPW! Notise the crossmember under the front. It´s true love anyway :)
I wish you the health and the weather to get the old girl running again Stefan.
By the time I could afford to buy an MB/GPW I found I no longer fit into the driver's seat!
Lyckades du locka till dej några flickor i den där?
Stefan! Lovely car you got here. I need to ask, how is the Jeep to live with? Does it behave itself and is maintenance easy enough?
Tack för en fin film, du får 3 fika poäng på avbetalning
You can get most parts still (There are companies that make and sell the bits) They will be expensive but you can get them. As long as you keep on top of maintenance they are pretty reliable. Many owners change the 6 volt electrical system to a 12 volt one. On the road, they are okayish but the moment you go off road they transform into great vehicles.
Falling out the side seems to be the only way you could possibly survive a crash in a Willys Jeep.
Colaste epan ever! :)
Ok
Must be muscle , they were so much smaller in the past. Not enough porrage.
I have touched that jeep
*I take a Willys over a humvee any day. The Willys helped to win a world war! The humvee could never make that claim!* *And...it's better at grilling hotdogs too!*
Hi. I watched your content for a while and I'd like to share my opinion with you. I like your content and knowledge but you should really put some more energy into your videos or find someone more energetic to read your scripts. You are a very calm person, and your english is obviously a 2nd language to you so it's understandable you don't jump around. But for the same of the channel, you need to put some spark into the content.
Stefan just needs to be himself ; a Regular Ordinary Swede : ua-cam.com/video/OH0n_Ew2YDM/v-deo.html
On the one side a little bit of tempo would be an improvement. On the other hand, he is a swede, northern people, even when they are passionate inside, are quite calm outside. That is way to be.
Better pauses and a script would be enough. Even as a swede its sometimes difficult to follow.
Ok, I can try to find a younger person who can speak the way you want and to tell his/her own stories from what they have read on the Internet.
or, you can accept me as I am telling my stories from my own life and in my own way.
@@stefankarlsson9762 I enjoy this content, a lot. This may actually be my favourite of the 3 or so tank museum channels I follow. Keep up the great work. :)
