It's been about 30 years since I have been to the park, but we are going again in September. Your video is the first that I have seen that has Surprise Lake and Amphitheater Lake in it. We did that hike the last time we were there and hope to do it again this time. GTNP is the most beautiful place that I have ever been.
Signal Mountain overlook and lift to Rendezvous Mountain should not be missed! Eat in Moose at DORNANS Chuckwagon for breakfast or pizza & pasta at nearby bar.
Top 3 trails please- anyone? Not too crazy long or short, just looking for scenic and nice. Did Half Dome and Angels Landing no issues so we are in shape- but just want to enjoy the area. Is it worth going to Yellowstone? Not into big tourist traps. Love untouched nature like how these trails look. Are bears a big danger? We like to hit trails early.

Definitely pack for cold weather. I was there six weeks ago & it dropped down to 40 on our last night.

Everyone that goes to GTNP will see, drive through, Jackson Hole. It’s the valley you travel through.
