Definitely a gorgeous park! Some particular highlights are Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone, Old Faithful Geyser, and Grand Prismatic Spring and the nearby overlook for it. Thank you for sharing your experiences in this video!
Nice tour! I will be making my first trip to Yellowstone in Sept 2024. In the past 70 years I have toured many parks with hundreds of trips to Yosemite.
definitely YS, grand canyon is nice and all, but there isn't much variety, more of a 1 day thing, while Yellowstone is anywhere from 2 days to a full week thing
Worked at both parks. First at the Canyon on the way to Yellowstone. If I had to choose, Yellowstone. Way more options for hiking and dining, plus a lot more on the way! Can't make a bad choice either way.
Personally I think these are all nice stops, but, having your title be "Yellowstone National Parks 10 best hikes" is a little misleading. Keplr cascades is not a hike, Grand loop road is not a hike, Yellowstone lake is amazing, but again not a hike, and Old faithful is not a hike. My personally ranking is #1 Avalanche peak hike. #2 Grand canyon of yellowstone North rim. #3. Union falls trail. #4. Mount Washburn. #5. Mammoth hot springs trail. #6. Grand prismatic view, via fairy falls trail. #7. 7 Mile hole trail. #8. Upper geyser basin trail. #9. Hellroaring creek trail. #10. Norris Geyser basin.
yeah i was kinda unsure of what to expect for that, as for my top 10 #1 Norris Geyser Basin (very biased) #2 Union Falls #4 Upper Geyser Basin + Biscuit Basin Trail #5 Fairy Falls / Grand Prismatic Spring Overlook #6 Mount Washburn #7 Fountain Paint Pots #8 Mammoth hot springs #9 West Thumb Geyser Basin Trail #10 Midway Geyser Basin Trail
Dinosaur fossils in Yellowstone? Most of the park is a caldera that erupted some 600,000 years ago; what isn't caldera is massive lava flows and tuff formations. I'd be really surprised to see anything dinosaur related anywhere in the park boundaries.
Not to be a jerk here but I would avoid most of these. So many people and there are so many hikes that are much better. Groups of people on tours stop at these places and it’s maddening. Look at the map and find a cool trail. Stay safe, watch your back, and stay far away from wild animals.

are bison the same as buffalo
Hey I know this guy
Same
Great video!! But, those aren't buffalo... ;D
Excellent. BTW, they are Bison, not Buffalo... Bison are indigenous to North America; whereas, Buffalo are not 🙂

Good list. I would include Big Horn Peak\Skyrim.
I saw the steamboat geyser erupt. It puts all the others to shame.
