Welcoming and beautiful smiles, you can feel the good energy around. They look happy to share with you, most of peruvians are like that. I am peruvian living outside of Peru for many years and let me tell you that one of the things I miss the most ...warmth, kindness and sweetness of people. Enjoy Peru. Disfruten Peru al maximo !!
Wow ... I was moved to tears, it is the most emotional video I have seen so far, I take my hat off for my countrymen for sharing what little they have with much love and to you guys thank you for their simplicity and humility and appreciate the affection of these people. Lindsey cute and beautiful (with Alex's permission) quite an Inca princess in that outfit. a hug guys
Peru, also known as the country of CULTURAL DIVERSITY and 5,000 flavors. It is the only country in the world with at least 8 types of cuisine: Creole, Marine, Andean, Amazonian, Nikkei, Chifa, Vegetarian and Haute cuisine. Furthermore, Peru has 491 typical dishes, thus becoming the country with the largest number of typical dishes in the world. It also has 2,500 native soups, 250 desserts and more than 3,000 varieties of potatoes. We can feel proud that God has blessed us with a gastronomy that is unique in the world. 🇪🇵🇪🇵🇪🇵🇪🇵🇪
I’m so grateful that I happened upon this Chanel. The love I feel from you guys and the Peruvian family makes my heart soar. Keep doing what you do, it is such a blessing.
The family in the Paru Paru village are very happy. They have food. They love each other, and they enjoy life. I bet they don't use the Internet, and they don't experience many of the worries and agrevation modern life brings.
Peru was the place that treated me the best out of all my travels. A family took me in when I was lost and in danger. They showed me so much love and I am forever grateful. Peru has a special place in my heart.
This was a great video you guys. This is the heart of Perú, it's people, their kindness, no matter how humble, they will give you a place in their table and food they may not have. I'm from Lima but all my granparents were from different provinces inside Perú. The most generous one was the one with the humblest origins. This is a treasure of an experience that I KNOW not even 0.000001% of coming tourists will ever experience in this land, most hit Machu Picchu and leave satisfied, but this is something else entirely. It was great to see you guys interact with the family and see one of our proudest inheritances from ancient times. Thank you for sharing this with the world :)
You are right Alex...moments like these make the best experiences of travel. Through my travels I've learned that people that live a simple life tend to be the happiest and most generous of all. What a blessing being able to spend the day with them and trying pachamanca.
A very emotional and awesome experience for you Alex and Lyndsey ...made me cry to see the generosity and love from the local family and your appreciation to be able to experience that.... ...absolutely heart felt🌎🌋🌌💫🙏🏽❣💫❣💫❣thank you👍🏽💫❣🧚♀️
I love your videos. The best you transmit your love to Peru. Things are not casual, you were there in the right place and time, you experienced more than any regular traveler, one of the best points were you understand how Incas felt in the ancient days at the spot places and then you discover some of that heritage on their descendants and all about that culture on their nowadays traditions. Unhappily you didn't have the chance to access to other outstanding places like Machu Picchu, Tipon, Coquequirao, the Inca Trail, the Huascaran White Mountain Valleys, Titicaca Lake and their Islands, or Kuelap Fortress in the Rainforest, etc., You deserves more than other visitors the chance to complete your journey to Peru, because you decided to stay more time and learning more than any other tourist. Hope @MarcaPeru or @Minintur could invite you two to visit Peru again and thanks for your support to the people you help during your stay. By the way, Incas practiced the 'Ayni' that means sharing, in that way when airports open again for travelers from around the world we would glad to see you again enter the international flights entrance gate at Jorge Chavez Airport. God bless you two. Take care you. Never say, never. ✌😎
This is the remote village But the family is so kind hearted that they have greeted & welcomed you both so nicely & Offered you both to celebrate with them These traditions & service is now left with very small places But we are happy that we can see these by your lens. ✌️
Wow....just wow!! What an awesome experience with such a lovable and purely kind family. It brought me a big smile to see there are people like that in the world. Cant wait for more of your great videos!
You are truly amazing! So appreciative of the nice things that come your way. Also amazing video covering of these experiences. Thanks for sharing it with us.
Omg this video brought me to tears! This was such a beautiful emotional video. You guys couldn't get more Peruvian than that. What an amazing experience this was for you and for everyone watching this! Love you guys, you're a beautiful warm and kind couple! Thank you for sharing all your adventures! 😘😘😘❤️❤️
Great experience being close to locals, part of their everyday life!!! Something I would really like to do when I travel!!! Thanks for sharing it with us, dear Alex & Lindsey! You are amazing!!!
Thank you guys, that was so heartwarming. You experienced traditions that have been part of the Andean region for maybe thousands of years. That's the way indigenous people preserve their traditions and also shows how material possessions don't determine happiness. Now You guys are going beyond the "touristy" but experiencing the true nature of the Quechua culture and people. Congratulations!!
Binge watching these videos has been pure joy!! Thank you so much for showing Peru in a way not many people get to see it (not even actual Peruvians). It really made me homesick. I’ll make sure to visit Cuzco as soon as this whole craziness is over! Please give a huge kiss to Mr. Potato head and tell his new family to be super careful during the first months. Dogs are known to escape trying to find the people that rescued them. As we all know they are super loyal. It’s in their nature. Anyway! Keep up the great work and if you ever come to Montreal, Canada I’ll be happy to show you around :)
Tears came out from my eyes, I am so lucky to be cusquenian, my people is always nice with everyone, I really hope we can open all our places soon to welcome again the hundreds of visitors we used to have, and of course share this awesome experiences with you guys, the real Perù, and you can tell money is not the important thing.... constantly being out of breath is what i remember from my time in the South of Peru. Lovely people, beautiful nature and great food. Good times! love the video.
I loved this 2 videos, in Pisac and enjoying the pachamanca. With my dutch husband we saw in the big scream TV , awesome!!!! Peruvian people always nice and friendly with tourists. Not everywhere is the same. Proud to be peruvian!!
What a unique way of cooking at the beggining of the video. I bet the meat is delicious. Alex, Lindsey, you are like family members of the hosts.

This is one of the most beautiful travel videos I have seen in the past few months. We congratulate you on this content. This kind of content makes you grow as being and as a traveler. You have every reason to stay in Peru in these hard times, to see gratifying things like these.
It was wonderful to see how happy you were. We live in such a materialistic world we don't need all the things we have to be happy. Thank you for sharing that with us
I have no words!! But my heart is full❤️ definitely puts things into perspective. You don’t need a lot to be happy and to be inviting😍😍 My favorite video so far!!
Welcome to my country guys!!! it has been 107 hard days for everyone, but you hace seen the positive of all this.there's a legend where the Cóndor and The Eagle will fly together in a new era of peace& love for humanity.you two are the eagles and you have come to the land of cóndor, like many of your compatriots to fullfill the ancient prophecy.
Looks like you have made some new friends for life. And Lindsey the animal Chalmer, so cute. Noticed Alex did not keep his nice new hat on for long. lol. Very good.
Thank you for showing the world the wonders of Cuzco. Welcome again to Perú, we love you guys. Many blessings to both of you, take good care of yourselves and enjoy the energetics wonders of Cuzco, the new energy center if the world in the Aquarian Era. God bless you guys!! 🙏🙏🙂🇵🇪
Peruvian families from the Andes are very nice and very loving, they give you what they have without selfishness. Thank you for appreciating my compatriots. you also deserved it.
I'm so happy you're finally enjoy Cusco in the other way! The experiences that you're having now are unique! Nobody maybe will have the same opportunities to see what the locals do, I think you guide its awesome!! I love this channel, love this couple and also love Mr. Potato!! I'm watching your videos since day 1! Pd : I'm the girl who ask you on Instagram to make some papa a la Huancaina but instead you guys buy the huancaina sauce (also good)!!! Good luck always 😊❤️ Pd2: sorry for my bad English, I'm improving...
Wow, amazing experience. My wife's family still lives in Peru and this brings back so many memories of the Andean people's generosity. One thing you haven't touched on during your videos are digestive issues. Every foreigner I've met that has explored the more traditional foods/culture like you guys are doing wind up with stomach issues eventually. Our digestive systems are not accustomed to the same foods/water. My youngest daughter had to be hospitalized and put on fluids, my brother almost couldn't fly home and my wife still has issues despite growing up there. Have you guys had any issues?
This was just amazing! It got me emotional... This was very special. Lost for words. Thank you for making this video! Both of you are very special. Peru loves you both!!

So emotional experience. What a nice family. You can tell that their humbleness is a treasure. Hard to find people like that. You will treasure this experience forever. I am happy and so emotional. I love Peru!
Wow... absolutely amazing! And there was so much food on a plate for just one person. If you could not finish eating the food on your plate, would they feel offensive? I love to see that you were right at the top of the mountain, breathing the fresh air, the way they cook food! Everything you showed in the video was just wonderful! Thank you 👍👍
Wow. I am Peruvian living in the USA. I love how you two are experiencing my culture. My grandparents were from the andes of Peru, (Ancash.) I love pachamanca. We used to do it in special occasions. You two look great on Peruvian Clothes. We eat a lot in Peru.. Bien taipa, mean a full plate. lol
wow i loved this video soooo much. What an amazing experience and I love how Lindsey is totally up for the peruvian makeover :) What amazing people with the biggest smiles. I love that you got to experience that as you too are such genuine nice humans xx
AMAZING video and experience with the wonderful people of Peru. This kind of content is above and beyond most of what the other travel vloggers are uploading. The joy of spirit that y’all had with those people came through in the video 100%. And the looks in your eyes afterward only enhance that effect. You’ve done something here that is difficult to put into words, yet y’all did a fantastic job. STAY IN PERU. Here in the US they are mandating masks statewide in many places. Some official in Dallas even wants people to wear masks INSIDE THE HOUSE. I’d much rather see y’all stay another month (or two) and enjoy yourselves, vs coming back here and being miserable. Thanks again for sharing this experience with us. Cheers to both of you, and an ear scratch for Sr PapaCabeza.
Lindsey and Alex, you are the best! As a Peruvian and living in Lima I´ve been waiting for your videos and enjoying them through all this lockdown. You are the most genuine and big hearted travelers in youtube.
