This was actually my first time into Cayuse. Sort of sits on the outskirts of the Frank Church and far away from my usual camping spots near the middle fork. I will definitely go back there. beautiful spot and very remote.

Thanks Jesse. Really it is just about picking the right conditions - early mornings and cold air plus knowing your airplane/terrain, and approach.
I've flown in mountains and narrow river gorges several decades ago, but I wouldn't do it again.
